Are all available slots in your department taken, as in not everyone gets in? If yes, you probably have the spot of a student who really wants to study it.
Came to my mind, no hard feelings.

Very fair point, as the reapers view us as children, but it's not the reapers making the choice, it's a human, what gives Shepard who has been killing things left, right and center with a myriad of weapons through 3 games the right to say who carries weapons?SS2Dante wrote...
Unfair metaphor. More exact one:
How many people would "forcibly remove" the guns from the children arguing in the rear of the car?

If you mean human revolutions, I was SO disappointed with that game, though the fiancé was a lot more invested in it and a lot more annoyed than me. 'Hey, your moral stance? Doesn't mean jack ****. Sorry dude, same endings for all!'
Nope, I mean the original first Deus Ex. Because that had 3 endings:
1. Merge with an AI - > Synthesis
2. Destroy technics -> yeah well, Destroy
3. Rule the world with a secret organisation --> Control, kind of
Ah okay I though you meant Human Revolution, never mind my post then.

If I did do that, I probably just assumed you were a pro-ending troll, because thats generally where I see the "Shep deserves better fans" sig, but thats really no excuse for me to just write you off.
If you arent talking about me, and I'm apologizing for nothing, I'm still sorry, since I've probly done something similar to someone else at some point.

good thinking. but no. my field of study seems to be the most difficult one, at least thats what everyone says. we started out with 20 people, now we are 6 or 7. not sure.
also they wish there were more of us, since we have to share lectures with other computer science based groups like the economics and the media guys. and they are horribly slow compared to us. thats also why i stopped going to lectures. they take an eternity to explain something, cause they have to explain it 3 times and then the stupid questions start coming.
yet, i have to admit, math and physics i was the one with the stupid questions, since we had to have our own lecture cause our stuff was more difficult. yet i skipped 4 classes of math and physics (dont ask, space magic), so i have actually no idea whats going on there. math 1 i passed at first try, cause it was all new stuff, but math 2 ... all vectors and x^3/2 / X^4 * ... which everyone else seemed to have had in school, except me. and im way too lazy to practice that stuff. never had to study or practice before, why should i start now?

Yes, I mentioned this a thousand or so pages back. Just change the context from governing method to synthetic vs organic life and the endings are a perfect match. On this topic, I chose synthesis in deus ex as well haha

And: the shep deserves better fans sig for me is that I think the endings are great, just because they leave the possibility that I don't know what is real. That, FOR ME, is something very intriguing. I don't mind something having some flaws for the sake of confusing the player. I have my thoughts about that is most likely real and what is not, and other views differ, and that is in my opinion a good thing. The only thing that is bad about that are fans who aren't willing to participate in something like that and just demand that everything is delivered on a silver platter. I would really love it if they would only fix some minor stuff that can really only be guessed and that doesn't serve any purpose, like the crew appearing on the Normandy, but other than that it should be left open what is real.
I just guess it wouldn't matter much, as they have to decide it for the next ME game eventually as even if it's set thousands of years in the future it could be seen if synthesis was real.

My main problem with the ending is not that it leaves Indoctrination open as possibility either, it is the lack of an epilogue that gets to me.
What happened to the Krogan, did they find peace in the galaxy or a new war? What happened to little Mordin?
Or the Rachni?
Or my crew? Did they live a happy life?
Basicly how did my choices matter in those last 20 minutes.
Because everything in the ending is explained throughout the game and makes sense.lex0r11 wrote...
