Agreed with you in a sense, but at the same time I can see why they wouldn't show every single fleet etc. It would take a lot of resources to render cinematics for them all and the possible permutations of having seperate combinations of fleets. EVERY possible one?  Of course not.  But I think they should've put the effort in and at least made one for the "perfect" fleet.  Which a lot of the more dedicated fans went to the trouble of getting only be treated to a cutscene of minimal allies.  It's not easy to make peace between the geth and quarians, and what do you get?  There's a seperate, short cutscene of the Migrant Fleet passing Jupiter if you have the quarians.  Geth only get Joker saying "geth fleet reporting" despite us being told the geth's dreadnought fleet was second only to the turians.  If you can bring yourself to talk to Allers afterwards, you can even get the geth ships upgraded with thanix cannons.  THANIX CANNONS!  Of course also their "largest, and perhaps best equipped, infantry in the galaxy".  And all we get is Joker saying "geth fleet reporting".  'the ****?

Unfortunately in my "natural" playthrough of ME2, I lost Legion, and wound up losing the quarians because of it (I didnt think they'd actually be foolish enough to get themselves killed if I allowed the upload). That sucked, but I did however, enjoy seeing the short clip of the Geth ships included in your fleet, as well as the short convo with the Geth Prime at the London base. I was shocked to discover that both of those things are not present if you have both the Quarians and the Geth. What the heck?

I'm still sad I never got a batarian squadmate.

They should make Balak recruitable.

I think the interaction between him and Shepard would be very interesting.

He'd be like an even bigger jerkass version of Javik.

Yeah, there is a distinct lack of a "vindictive, bitter A-hole that is hilarious despite his attempts to be mean" throughout the trilogy, and a Batarian could possibly have fit that role perfectly.

No Batarians ever enslaved your Shep. Colonist Shep didnt get captured by the batarian slavers.

Commander Shepard has become a legend by ending the reaper threat. Now you can continue to build that legend through further gameplay and downloadable content.

No Batarians ever enslaved your Shep. Colonist Shep didnt get captured by the batarian slavers.

They destroyed the family nontheless. Reason enough. (wasn't sure if Shep got enslaved but I just remembered in ME1 where you had to calm down that girl that you can say you had to go through that too, it's 7AM here and I'm still awake >.>)

The Paragon options have you attempt to discover the "softer" side of batarians, while the Renegade ones have you play pranks on him.

"No seriously, take this old detached gun barrel and ram it right up his... no, it's considered a compliment in their culture!"

- Batarians in MP are fun. I can't bring myself to play one myself, but they're good squaddies. Once I was doing a run against Cerberus at Firebase White. There was this nemesis on the lower levels trying to run away but there were a bunch of us in her way so she starts running into people and walls like a derp. This batarian comes out of nowhere and does that omnipunch, just smashes her face between his fist and the wall. She just crumples, I don't know if it was really gone but I couldn't see her head anymore. There was, however, a massive blood splatter on the wall he introduced her to. Maybe it makes me a terrible person, but I laughed well into the next round coming up with incredibly inappropriate lines I'd want to put on a motivational of the punch.

Sorry, got sidetracked. My whole point was that if TIM can control Shepard, Harbinger certainly can. TIM is indoctrinated, and as such I doubt his technology isn't available to Harbinger. Since Harbinger didn't try to directly control Shepard during the end, doesn't it seem logical TIMs control over Shepard is actually Harbinger indoctrination in disguise?

I let the Quarians die and there was a short clip on Geth dreadnoughts assembling, a Geth pilot in a fighter saying "We are at your command" or something like that. And the Geth prime in London. He says some good lines like "Today we secure our future, and once we are finished, we will help you secure yours".
