- Batarians in MP are fun. I can't bring myself to play one myself, but they're good squaddies. Once I was doing a run against Cerberus at Firebase White. There was this nemesis on the lower levels trying to run away but there were a bunch of us in her way so she starts running into people and walls like a derp. This batarian comes out of nowhere and does that omnipunch, just smashes her face between his fist and the wall. She just crumples, I don't know if it was really gone but I couldn't see her head anymore. There was, however, a massive blood splatter on the wall he introduced her to. Maybe it makes me a terrible person, but I laughed well into the next round coming up with incredibly inappropriate lines I'd want to put on a motivational of the punch.

Batarian heavy melee indeed takes the enemies head of (or smahes it to bits) and can even stagger Banshees and similar heavy enemies, but it takes a bloody long time to charge.

sad thing is, right now, I feel like everything's been said - unless we find any new evidence

also... the Geth Prime is in the game, if Tali died, and the supposedly cut dialogue is too.

Everything's been said for awhile now, but not everything's been discussed thoroughly I don't think. Not sure what we missed though (I miss a lot of pages). Maybe Arian will come in and revive something, meanwhile I think I'll hit some multiplayer.

Not at all. After Harbinger borderline stalked me in ME2 and kept saying how much he wanted my body and then promptly hits it and quits it in the ending of ME3 without saying so much as a word to me he deserves my ire.

Why do you think Shep walks so slow at the end. Walk of shame, man. Walk of shame.

{edit} I will derail this topic to one of amusement before I pass out, dammit.

"SHEPARD."
"Yeah yeah, I know. This hurts me, you'll destroy me if you must, blah blah blah."
*Harbinger opens an airlock*
"I WANT YOU INSIDE ME."

You have earned achievement: Restraining Order.

This is epic and I cant help but think of another villian with a crazy obsesion in a person. To quote him:

Orochimaru: "I want your body, Sasuke"

Yeah, you lost all sense of credibility as a proper villian Orochimaru

Now it all makes sense:

"THIS HURTS YOU"
"I KNOW YOU FEEL THIS"
"IF I HAVE TO TEAR YOU APART, SHEPARD, I WILL"

Today a friend of mine told me he had EDI walking out in a destroy ending. I got excited and asked him for the saves. I got the saves and Garrus/James walked out :( He swears he saw EDI the first time tho. And I have no idea how those two walked out, it was a male shep. :S

Yeah that's still bugging me, several people claim to have EDI walk out in Destroy, but nobody uploaded anything like that on youtube yet.

Well I asked him again and he still claims EDI walked out but now he tried it again and Garrus?James is walking out. Is it all random? He had Miranda as LI so no way she'd walk out..

Maybe it's a random chance? Might have to have no love interest as well, then it might show whoever is closest to you walking out first. For me it's always my LI followed by Javik, but would think Garrus would pop out first.

At this point, its been so long I wouldnt be surprised if someone decides to make a fake. It probably wouldnt be hard to do. I'll be very skeptical unless its taken with camera rather than a screencap.

For me it was Garrus and Kaidan, I had both with me in the last mission and Kaidan was my LI

Liara and Jarvik for me, Liara was my LI and Jarvik was with me on the last mission (found it fitting considering his story) along with Garrus (always been my first choice for the important missions)

Here lately, exploration of narrative devices, audio files and the influences of the design team has revealed some more supporting evidence for IT, as have closer observation of certain aspects of the ending (Citadel).

We may have milked the majority of it, but I wouldn't be surprised if we hit a few more oil wells before the EC. The Theory has definetly matured.

I know it's late to talk about it again , but I think another alternative theory is reliable about supposed Shepard's "allucination".

It's possible to recognize strong analogies of ME3 ending with the ending of a Colin Wilson's novel, "Space Vampires", and with the film "Space Vampires" derived from it (1985) -that shouldn't be the first cripted film quotation in ME3 and in all Bioware production.

There are also theme-repetition inside the game itself. The scene of the beam which surrounds Shepard in the ending is very similar to the light surrounding him when he's connected with the Geth server on Rannoch. So we should talk about a theory of Shepard's mind connected with a sort of Reapers' server.

We have then three choice. Only a choice really implicates Shepard's final indoctrination, and it's of course the choice of control (it's the choice of the indoctrinated Illusive Man, after all). If we follow the suggested analogy whit the cinematographic remake of Colin Wilson's novel (culminating in London, with the main character joining to a female space-vampire in a beam of light, just in case you have some doubt), the best ending is the synthetic-organic fusion, and the distruction as second option.

In any case the only problems with the ending of the game are not about its presumed incoherence, but they concern more its reticence.

I apologize if someone had previously my same idea and he expressed it here already.

Like a ****** I chose control, although in all fairness to me, I stopped caring before Starchild even shut his mouth. I was so POd at what I just witnessed that I sat stupified and just picked without really any thought.

When I had reached that part I just quickly chose Destroy, because I thought the game would go on for quite a while and the other two options would give me a mission failure. But I sure as hell wasn't prepared for the 2 minute of cutscene and the "kthxbai". Felt like someone kicked me in the face.

I apologize also for errors:

*theme-repetitions

*hidden instead of cripted.

Seems like somewhat of a stretch, you only pointed out a few connections, while IDT is a major theme in the games and has dozens of connections foreshadowed throughout the me2, arrival, and me3

My first playthrough I was so stupified by what I was experiencing that I just gravitated toward Control because it was blue. I wanted to destroy, but by the time I was close enough to see what it was, Shepard went on autopilot and I couldn't get away, (an odd mechanic).

And kicked in the face wasn't the right word for me. I was emotionally void for about two days and utterly confused; a very bizarre reaction, but apparently one experienced in some degree of commonality.

I think I spent 5-10 minutes simply gaping in silence as the choices were presented. It was so worng, it could not be real...

Control was out of the question no matter the Brats honey covered words, nothing told me it was possible. Synthesis was...tempting, but ultimately it went to much against the free choice which races like the Geth valued and I ended on Destroy with a feeling of wrongness pemenating it all.

Now I know where that feeling of wrongness came from.
