In fairness, the Autosave function in ME1 was absolutely abysmal, on Xbox at least. But still, 5 hours does seem rather excessive. Unless the engine broke down and he had to get Wrex to push the Mako.

Thank you. You've now conjured images of arctic sled teams pulled by krogan in my head.

MUSH!

If control was actually possible, then it is the best choice. Shepard doesn't become the next starchild, he replaces him. That would allow him to implement his own plans and force the Reapers to leave/help the galaxy/fly into a sun/etc.
The reason why it's a bad idea is because although starchild states that you could handle it where TIM would fail (because TIM isn't altruistic I guess,) he is probably lying through his virtual baby teeth

Oh I don't know. You'd have had to headbutt them into submission in the first place just to get the leashes on...

I got bored of Witcher 2 and stopped playing after collecting something (mucus maybe? idk) that will apparently help me fight some monster in the river. I never actually fought the monster.

Does the game pick up from that point, or no?

I know how it feels... I confess I stoped played me1 for awhile after dying several times and having to redo a 5 hour long mako drive....

Man, where were you that you had a 5 hour long Mako drive?

Seriously, were you stoned or something?

I do recall one time on Therum, where I got all the way to the end, and while trying to glitch the Mako through that tiny path so I could use it on the final fight with the geth Armature, I accidentally ran into the lava.

Had to redo the entire freaking level from the point where the Normandy drops the Mako.

I guess thats what I get for waiting until after doing everything else before going to get Liara. In my defense, I wanted to get this scene.

Also, the top rated comment on that video is oddly relevant to this thread.

I'm not trying to disparage you or anything. I can respect that you don't like something. It's just that, well, don't expect to go onto a gaming forum, say you don't like medeival fantasy and expect people not to react puzzled and incredulous. :P

Why?

Because games set in medieval times are like half of the games that exist.

So it seems I'd be better off with the other half of the games in existence.

Maybe I misunderstood, but it seemed like what was being implied was that Shepard would take on starchilds agenda and morals "continuing the cycle" (paraphrasing)

Replacing would mean Shepard would retain his own ideas and change course from starchild

Something about these pics make me feel like shepard undergoes total defeat.

Not only death, but servitude to the reaper cause. There is nothing worse than being turned to fight against all you love.

Fighting the actual monster is a blast. And then the game only gets better from there. Get to it!

God of War called. It wants the Kayrun back.

Woot, I'm not the only one who wanted to make them do that!

That can't be true. Everyone knows that 93% of all video games are WWII shooters.

... Seriously, they need to stop making those goddamn things. Enough. Is. Enough.

God dang I love Liara.

Ahem. I lost count of the times I lost hours of play through relying on a useless Autosave feature. One of the worst examples I remember was doing Bring Down the Sky on Insanity - when you have to take out ALL those infuriating gun towers on the comet (I think that's BDtS?). I'd taken pretty much all of them out over the course of about an hour or two, only to **** up right at the end. Swear words were yelled.

Seriously. At this point we should almost start an entire new World War just so we'll have another war to set video games in...

I'm fairly sure I've killed more ****s than have ever existed at this point.

And yet people still think Bioware was lazy when they made the ending for ME3...

I'm almost furious that someone could have played such a great game, with an epic twist like that who then says that they rushed the ending for ME3....

Just one short thing I saw right now after beating Cronos Station on Insanity.
You see the Citadel close above Earth, and at the very end of the cutscene, this white/blueish light on the down side of it starts flickering (the position where to Crucible will dock later and connect).
I want to point that the Citadel-side connection was there before the Crucible docked, but (probably) after TIM reached and reported the organic's intentions.
So, this controversy about "Why is there even anything on the part of the Citadel where no organic has ever been to that can work with something built from organics" might be explained like this:

TIM traveled to the Citadel, informed the Reapers about what the humans are up to and the Reapers (or Keepers) respond by building a corresponding part that can interact with the Crucible.

On the other hand though, this couldn't explain why the Crucible as it is was designed by these numerous cycles before us if there was nothing on the Citadel before that would interact with it...

Just my 2 cents.

Are you sure? I could've sworn it started with Bio. Maybe... Bio-Yoghurt?
