Very well. I entirely disagree with your point and don't deny I probably could have phrased that better.

But, what has been said in a fit of pique cannot be unsaid, so instead I shall say that you should probably consider all my other thoughts on the subject.

well, it cant be unsaid, but you could just make up another indoctrination theory claiming that the post was an hallucination.

Is it just me or has there been a pretty massive troll here camping out around here lately?

Thank you Waldstr for yet another equally insulting and unecessary post, attempting to decry my intellgence and capabaility, while you pretend to be superior.

Now I think I'll do the sort of thing you do and advise you to go suck a tailpipe.

waldstr18.. whatever it is you're smoking, I want some. I love the idea of being told the same thing 20 times and then forgetting it each time in a matter of seconds because I'm just so high. Hook me up please? I need a hit yo.

No name calling....

It is my "opinion", however, that Waldo has a very limited knowledge of the ME in general according to everything I've ever seen him post.

It is clear that he has sucksesfully hijacked this thread, congratulations Waldo, you've managed enrage everyone with your stupid comments.

The IT is such a major thing that even if they don't acknowledge it fully, there will still be a wierd scene at the end that will leave you saying "what if".

What I'm saying is the IT will never fully be disproven but you will always look like a whiny child.

You know, I think I'm going to go visit my brother in the hospital now.

Who knows? Maybe this thread will be relatively normal again once I return?

There are certainly some interesting points in the IT (and some incredibly observant people here), but unfortunately it's not true. I strongly advise against getting your hopes up / taking it too seriously. I'm not interested in arguing point by point with you, so if that makes me a troll, so be it. I've worked in and around the gaming industry, and the fact is that there is no financial upside to releasing a "troll" ending that is only visible to the most intense fans. Not to mention, the PR goodwill and brand loyalty that is lost by doing something like that. There is a reason BW refers to the ending as "bittersweet."

And what's the finanical benefit to releasing a game with a broken ending? Because, if either IT is not true or Bioware has something equally compelling lined up, they've shot their public image dead in a one-two-three hit with Dragon Age 2, TOR, and now ME3's ending.

On the other hand, they've already sold like hotcakes, are getting huge publicity and hype for the upcoming EC, and stand to take the industry by storm should the EC turn out good.

Heavy risk, but the priiiize.

If I play the game for a second time and beat it will I be able to get The Shepard Breath Scene with an EMS of 2637?

No. 4000 EMS if you saved Anderson and chose destroy
5000 EMS if you didn't save him.
And you have to play MP too...

If the ending cinematic wasn't labeled 'shepalive' in the files then I wouldn't think it too far a stretch to think it was an N7 op from multiplayer.<_<

Also, read the end of my bigass post for my thoughts on the economics of EA and Bioware doing this.

Also, I happened to like TOR, what's so bad about it?

It didn't break records or new ground. You don't try to make a WoW-killer with Guild Wars 2 on the horizon. That's tempting fate twice. I didn't play it myself but the general feel I'm getting when I hear about it is that it's a gigantic "meh".

Also I'd like to take this opportunity to state that I actually liked Dragon Age 2. Like, for real.

People bought it just because it's star wars. It's also one of the last mmo's that won't be "free to play".. until WoW 2.

I liked DA2 as well, but DA:O is far superior.

Wasn't that good, they just agreed to not be with eachother. The movie itself is good but the ending was just bleh.

Who said WoW 2 would be free to play?

I played it and actually enjoyed it, it felt like a very solid single player game. And actually it broke quite alot of new ground, unique stories for each class, each excellently written, for the first time, entirely voiced dialogue for EACH AND EVERY character,  both big and small, an actual quantity of ROLE PLAYING worked in by it's very nature, Not to mention, one of the biggest game worlds to date.

No, I liked what little of TOR I saw, I doubt I'd ever play an MMO again, but TOR did make me reconsider, despite all my time on WoW.

And, same. I would have liked to see more, but unfortunately, people decided to cut that short. Dragon Age 2 could have been fantastic, and easily have knocked DA:O from it's pedestal in my heart, had they spent more time polishing it.

Let's hope DA3 revitalizes everything.
