Okay this is seriously weird. I started testing the gun trying to hear this "Shep... ard" sound people claim to hear but I don't hear it. Instead Im hearing a strange ringing, that sound like no gunshot. The sound after the bullet is fired gives a machine like breath or hiss. Im hearing this with my headset by the way, on dynamic setting with the sound up.

I hadnt seen people claiming they heard a Shepard sound before, but I do recall people saying they heard a sort of breathing sound (which they claimed was a different sound file depending on if you were male or FemShep) that was similar to the breath Shep takes in the rubble at the end.

When Anderson breaks radio contact theres another instance of feedback akin to the reapers sound when they cut off or intercept a transmission. Anyway Im going to keep talking here as I replay the ending with no music. Gonna try and see if theres anything in control's ending that you can hear without the music.

Theres also a reversed 1M1 as some people have claimed not just within the Catalyst chamber but also in the halls between the console and the shadow broker segment.

Possibly, but we do know for a fact that eezo emits radiation. You mentioned it yourself. Even if the eezo itself isn't contaminated, what's to stop it from being an indoctrination broadcaster?

Yknow, playing through Thessia reminds me that after I first got the game at the midnight launch, I played nonstop until I was too tired to keep going, and then saved and went to bed after I finished Thessia.

I only slept for two hours, because I kept having dreams where I was hearing voices of my squadmates talking about how the battle wasnt over yet, and I needed to finish the fight.

I remember that dream totally weirded me out.

Cant believe I forgot about it till now...

Am... am I indoctrinated?

Okay... that was weird. Without sound I can hear some kind of faint voice within the lightning as I head up the ramp. Sounds kind of like Anderson's voice yelling "wake up!" or "get up!" and the closer I get to anderson the more frequent the lightning becomes.

The fact that it's a solid chunk of metal for one?

Also, not all the Eezo in the SR-2's core IS from Soverign, some was mined, bought on the legitimate market, or stolen from competition.

Remember there is a ****ton of Eezo in there, enough to power a Dreadnought.

No. Certainly not. *reaper growl*

There's no reason to think you would be. *whispers*

You're just grasping at straws, the whole theory is kind of pointless really. Bioware does just suck that much.

We need you to understand that.

I conceded that the eezo wasn't indoctrinating. I'm asking if it's possible the SR2 drive core is.

Hm... Reaper Eezo... Can we add that to the list of things that might emit an indoctrination signal? On top of the Reaper IFF, parts of EDI's core.... What else?

I think because it would have to be a natural property, given that eezo is an element. To be able to broadcast an indoctrination signal would require the combination of eezo and another molecule, making it unlikely that it both maintain it's original properties and be undetectably altered

Unfortunately I cannot. I have no video capture system or such. My apologies, I can only report on what I hear and see Simon. Hopefully this can help guide someone who can have a look at that and share it.

I just talked to EDI. She was totally about to tell me a joke about a penguin driving through the Arizona desert when Shepard cut her off.

WHY DO YOU HATE ME, SHEPARD?! NOW I'LL NEVER KNOW THE PUNCHLINE OF THAT JOKE!

Uranium, radium, plutonium... all elements. They typically are radioactive.

Aslo element zero is not an element, as it can't possibly have the atomic structure for it, as implied by the name. It's a weird form of matter, but it's certainly not like anything on the periodic table.

The fact that it's man made.

As I see it, Reaper tech is like something from this one episode of Stargate.

The Humans (or Tau'ri if you prefer) were designing a new ship, based off Goa'uld technology, in this case two repurposed fighters. Unfortunately, they had a recall program build into them, that since it was merely repurposed, they hadn't caught. Later when the built the thing from scratch, we didn't have any further problems.

So the same with Reaper tech, when we build it ourselves (like with EDI, she's based off it, but as I understand has no actual intact Reaper tech inside her.) it doesn't have indoctrination stuff, because we trim that out as junk code or unecessary stuff.

But intact reaper tech, like the IFF... that's another matter altogether.

Okay another bonus from sound. When I get to Anderson, without sound i can definitely hear whispers and quite clearly interlaced with machine like growls. The whispers are soft and rapid like a thousand thoughts filling my headset with the faintest of hum to the voices.

Another tidbit without sound is that Shepard, Anderson and Illusive Man's voices echo and resonate with every word.

And what's to say that the tech hasn't been compromised? Cerberus built it. Alliance remade it. Reaper IFF installed in it. Plenty of opportunity for someone to plug in a reaper dongle on one of the unused usb ports.

Man, Javik is such a hypocrite. Earlier he told me "I have a simple rule: if a machine can speak, kill it" and now after bringing him with me to Thessia and having him see the Prothean VI he's all "It was good to see another of my kind, even if it was just a ghost."

We should have just told Javik the geth were a race of ghosts. I bet he'd have liked them then.

Actually, Eezo is established to be an element, in this case with a high atomic mass, but low atomic weight ( 0 being it's atomic number in fact.), but completely lacking in a positive or negative charge, and by extension, protons and electrons, there are no Ions of Eezo, hence why an electrical charge causes effects in it. It's established to be formed from a star going supernova, effecting the planets in it's sphere of influence with extreme heat and potentially pressure, creating a substance similar to that which Neutron stars is formed of, and is in fact common around Neutron stars and Pulsars.

I've claimed it, as well as one other person that I know of. In order to hear it properly, the music has to be off, and you have to put your ear right up to one of your rear speakers. I'm not sure how it would sound with a headset.
