I guess it all boils down to the fact that I'm not an ass man yet again.

That must be why I dont like Miranda.

Ah.. Well TBH I'm guessing that character development is usually a lot better if you romance him/her, and seeing as I never even came close to romancing Liara.. (ew), maybe that's why I don't find her to have much of a personality. I didn't play LotSB either.. I like Miranda's attitude, but to each it's own i guess. I do admit that I like Liara more in ME2&3 than in ME1. Less annoying.

Liara is awesome in LotSB. You should play it sometime.

Her romance scene from LotSB is probably my favorite romance scene in the whole series.

I've seen a playthrough of it.. But I don't see how people find Liara.. Attractive? IDK, not really the word I'm looking for, as I'm not ''attracted'' to Miranda, a videogame character (even though Strahovski is pretty hot).. But even though it's just a game I don't get why you would go for the blue tentacle head lol.. Or chicks going for Garrus.. Just ew.

Maybe because they like their personality? Looks isn't everything, you know!

Sometimes I feel this should be the motto of our thread, because if you do not repeat your theories at least three times, they will most likely be ignored ;)

I do, however, remember your statement, but my thought was that time travel would make everything worse. Time travel always makes thing worse.

Worse than Space Magic?

Look at it this way, if it drags an armada of escaping Protheans into our cycle, burns out the Crucible, is only dragging ships using Mass Relays in the past forward, and is entirely one way, leaving Javik now having to lead his people, then I'd probably like it better than this.

Quite true. LotSB added a lot to the quality of ME2. Also, Having replayed ME1 recently, I wish, Liara would have been more akin to her style in LotSB throughout the whole game.

Hmm, I like it when a character developes throughout a series. Wouldn't it be boring when Liara was already like that when you find her in that mine? She was the complete opposite. Jack and Miranda kinda change too, although they have to do it in a shorter timespan.

The Crucible is ALSO stated as being designed by organics, with the plans being adapted BY ORGANICS, whom according to his own testimony, couldn't have known about the Task Manager.

I don't recall him stating that. It's rather implied than stated, which is quite a difference. He states that the Crucible was added to throughout the cycles.

Watch the scene again, he specifically says so.

He states that the Crucible plans were adapted to include the Catalyst, at some point, it is difficult to pinpoint when, and that the plans were passed down from previous cycles.

I cant remember if you're one of the people who watches RvB, but if Shep time travels, we'll probly end up being the ones who caused all of our problems in first place, like what happened with Church when he time traveled.

Church sums up my feelings on why we shouldnt time travel:

Church: I learned a very valuable lesson in my travels. No matter how bad things might seem-

Caboose: They could be worse.

Church: Nope, no matter how bad they seem, they can't be any better, and they can't be any worse, because that's the way things ****ing are, and you better get used to it, nancy. Quit yer ****ing.

Well, now that we have a time travel device, I'd say that the reapers were actually built by ****s who travelled back in time and still had a grudge against Britain.

But seriously: no idea, I really fail to understand why they chose London.

Wow! So the Prothean VI can detect indoctrinated people. That's big news! Why would it not detect Shepard?

I personally only see Garrus as a friend, nothing more.

However, Liara's romance is very sweet and cute IMO, which is kinda why I like her so much, besides of her personality, of course!

The best thing about Liara in ME1 was how she had no idea about how things work, soooo cute.

Sorry, I'm not really into the red and blue ones. But with that wisdom, can we now please go and just kick the reapers mightitly into their daddy bags? ... because that's what we planned to do for 99% of the game, isn't it? *grumble, grumble*

I had an idea that maybe the Reapers consider the Crucible as a kind of border condition (like in recursion), that they threw this device for organics to develop. And when they finally do it, it'll prove that the solution won't work anymore.

I liked Garrus' romance in ME3, but I never really thought it made sense in ME2.

I mean, it all started with Garrus talking about how he once had sex with some turian chick, and Shep out of freakin nowhere is like "Yknow we should totally have sex too!"

Plus he claims he doesnt have a human fetish, pretty much saying he doesnt find FemShep attractive in ME2.

Agreed. However, on my recent replay I found her a bit strange and the relationship too forced - and for a girl of the bookish sort, she's quite extraverted. Still cute, though.

Btw, I forgot: how did Anderson get to London? I know, it's the future, but shouldn't the airspace be problematic to use during a Reaper invasion and occupation?
My motivation: the talk about London and why the transport beam was there (if it was the only one on Earth)...

lol.. Liara has no personality whatsoever, plus her voice annoys the hell out of me.. I hate Tali more though. If I could I would kick them both off the ship and replace them by Miranda and Grunt.. I like Wrex more but he was cooler in ME1 tbh. Oh and I hate Ashley and Kaidan too.. ME2 squad was the best one IMO, plus EDI was actually an interesting character in that game unlike that horrible abomination she is in ME3.. and her ''romance'' with Joker freaks me out.

Liara has no personality but you want Miranda on your ship?

This is not related to IT but I just can't wrap my head around how Bioware changed the appearance of Harbinger from ME2 to ME3.

The first picture shows Harbinger in the ME2 outro, when the Reaper fleet closes in to Milky Way.
You can already see some difference between Harbinger and Sovereign.

The second picture shows Harbinger on the datapad Joker gives you at the end of ME2.
The thing I circled (I really don't know how to describe it xD) is completely missing in ME3, as seen in the third picture, which is a comparison between Harbinger in ME3 (left) and in ME:Arrival (right).
As you can see, it is a huge difference between, not just that the circled thing in ME3 is missing, it also seems that Harbinger has 3 big pairs of legs on the datapad.

Finally, as you can see in the last picture, Harbinger was changed into a simple Sovereign-class Reaper with an missing leg and some "eyes".

oi47.tinypic.com/2wc49vo.jpg

Considering we see none of those unique-looking reapers from the ME2 outro, it really seems like Bioware took the short way out and transformed all Reapers into Sovereign lookalikes with some minor tweaks for Harbinger.

oi50.tinypic.com/2w7on07.jpg
oi49.tinypic.com/qrelw9.jpg

I don't really know why but this is something that really disappoints me about the game.
