Though we still have no explanation for why the Reapers picked London.

Well, now that we have a time travel device, I'd say that the reapers were actually built by ****s who travelled back in time and still had a grudge against Britain.

But seriously: no idea, I really fail to understand why they chose London.

I always saw because Bioware wanted to make the final battle for Terra happen somewhere else than LA for once, but that may just be me.

Btw, I forgot: how did Anderson get to London? I know, it's the future, but shouldn't the airspace be problematic to use during a Reaper invasion and occupation?
My motivation: the talk about London and why the transport beam was there (if it was the only one on Earth)...

I think Anderson says that he managed to catch a shuttle evacuating Vancouver, and that he's sitting in London at that moment, or something like that.

Anderson also said the Reapers were only focusing on the populated areas, but Allers says they've taken millions of people from rural China and Sub-Saharan Africa. Was he simply misinformed, or was he lying?

Also, Anderson says that the Reapers are focusing on London, really not giving any reason why. He's the one who suggests Shepard take the beam up into the Citadel instead of trying to take the Normandy directly there too...

Is it possible Anderson is indoctrinated?

I mean, he's been on Earth around tons of Reapers for months now, and in the end, his plan leads Shep into a trap where Harby is waiting for her.

Could explain how he moves around Earth without the Reapers stopping him. You wouldnt stop one of your own.

Of course!!!!! Posted Image I was surprised that Anderson was talking about London and how the Reapers are preparing for something there way before the Thessia mission (or definately way before the Citadel was moved). How did they knew so early that they would establish a beam in London?

If Anderson is indoctrinated, that could explain why he says: "Too bad it took the reapers to bring everyone together."

But I don't think he is.

Hm, that'd explain this particular scene :P

But on the more serious issue: When you put it that way, Anderson's plan does sound fishy. But then again, no one from your squad seems to have a problem with the plan. Bein desperate might have something to do with it.

wow, two days and almost 100 pages!
Did a bombshell drop or something?

I studied the 2nd dream further, if you triangulate where Shepard is when she wakes up using the background. She is almost in the same spot as that really low chair which liaras crouches next too during her 'project'.
However, if you look at the background height when shepard first gasps and the relevant height between Shepard and the wine glasses on the table, it's more than safe to assume she is standing up. =)

Hey Jade! So good to see another friendly face after all this fighting in here.

And about the bombshell thing, I'm not really sure how to answer that...

@Golferguy:

Nothing really new. Just that is feels like the cycles are actually getting shorter.

THE CYCLE IS NOT A THING YOU CAN COMPREHEND.

In all seriousness, besides of talking about LI's, possible uses for the crucible, a new demotivational and a new way to greet Waldstr18 and other trolls, no, nothing has changed.

Have a comic. People were talking about Miranda and Jack anyway.

@ lexor

Eh, seeing as I came back in and there wasn't a flame war going on... I'll take that as the good news for the day!

@ schneeland
Probably are getting shorter. Game is pretty much info'd out at this point. Beyond just repeating things to new people I doubt anythign will really come up.

I don't really know why but this is something that really disappoints me about the game.

If you haven't done it already, call them out on it in the forums. It's pretty obvious, to many of us, that the game's lack of polish suggests that it was rushed.

There were, indeed, some great moments, but those are starkly contrasted by VERY VERY crude bits, (the piles of bodies at the end, Aller's Voice Acting, the extreme use of fetch quests).

Anyways, I'm going to bed now, so I'll see you (or some of you, I guess) later!
And don't forget to activate security protocols if a wild troll appears!

Goodbye.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to pop in and complain about the ending some more:D.

Mostly, I'm wondering if anyone understands how the end sequence on Magical Tropical Space Magic Planet is determined?

I believe the consensus has been that it is usually Joker, your LI, and one of your squadmates from the final dash-to-the-beam, right?  I've also heard that EDI is always shown if you choose Synthesis.

Anyway, I've now done three playthroughs, and here has been my experience with who exits the Normandy:

First time - Synthesis: Joker, EDI, Liara (LI)
Second time - Destroy: Joker, Liara (LI) and Garrus (final squadmate)
Third time  - Destroy: Joker, Liara (LI) and Javik (??? - only used him about three times over the course of this playthrough)

So, obviously, I still don't understand how this works, since it made sense for the first two, and no sense at all this last time.

EDIT:  I still didn't get the breath scene either, since I don't have an Xbox live account.  Stupid Bioware said that you don't need to play MP, but I got everything, and my relative EMS was only about 3700.
