another warnig sign!? this time for the alliancs maybe?

Right when they crash, that's when the indoc dream starts I think.

what do you think of the alliance symbol with the arrow pointing towards an electrical warning as soon as the screen fades in at ~11:12?

I thought i found something.... guess not.:(

The warnign signs are too based on confirmation bias, it only makes sense that an alliance shuttle would have warnings strewn about.

You don't think Bioware knew fans were going to tear the game files apart? :S

Well, it's my belief that BioWare had the IT planned all along, but have had to revise their original thoughts based on the greater-than-expected fans' backlash. So I don't think they were expecting fans to tear the game files apart to the extent that they have.

Anyway I'm so knackered that my sentences are barely making sense to me as I'm typing them. I have to sleep now. Been fun chatting with you chaps. And have no fear, despite coming dangerously close to agreeing with SubAstris, I've not been indoctrinated by the enemy, and I am still a firm IT believer.

Hello there, first time poster here.

I've recently played ME1 again and...
What's the reason behind having a seperate room (and a corridor which is conviniently patched together using
sheps memories) with a control panel in it for opening/closing the citadel's arms when you can do that at
the Citadel Tower (where the council conferences took place)? Correct me if I'm wrong and ignore me if someone said that before, but didn't Shep open the arms there after they had been closed by Saren?

Started a new game. Figured playing FemShep for a 12th time in a row would be too many FemSheps.

I already regret my decision to play MaleShep.

THIS forever.

If only they'd made Tali a romance option for FemShep, like they originally planned on doing, I'd have no reason to ever play MaleShep.

Just one last reply, then, before sleep time.

Personally, I don't like Jennifer Hale's acting. I think her voice is irritating, sounds like she's trying to speak at too low a pitch for her own voice, and I've honestly never understood why so many people prefer her to Mark Meer.

Anyways, on that bombshell, night all.

Well, I just figured it was because of all the wind coming from the direction of the beam, you can even see rain being blown towards you.

@Subastris

One question, shouldn't take too much of your time. Why are you here?

Whether IT is true or false is irrelevant, it's obvious that most of the people here are committed to the idea, and that you're commited against it. Do you honestly think you're going to change opinions? Do you have anything to gain by convincing people that their fanfiction is wrong? If IT is wrong then so be it. But that's going to be a problem for the theorists, not you. Unless EC gives us a definite, unambiguous verification or denial of IT then the theorists will keep theorizing. And you're not going to change that, no matter how right you may be.

Or is it because you feel that there needs to be a voice telling people who don't know about the theory not fall into the IT trap? Commendable in a sense I guess, if you're not trying to get people to raise false hopes. But then you really should just let people make up their own minds on the subject. There are people who have become emotionally invested in Bioware's series, and are now trying to find a way around their dissapointment with the finale. They're not your responsibility and they're not going to thank you for trying to dash their hopes.

Most of the folks here are analyzing, discussing, speculating etc. or just lurking because they believe in the possibility that implementing indoctrination is/was Bioware's intent. And yet you're here adamantly dismissing that possibility. You're contributing nothing of value for the people who want to follow this thread. You're not posting counter-arguments, you're provoking clutter. You're not being clever, you're being a nuisance, plain and simple.

Because if you don't have a good reason to stay here bickering then surely you have better things to do than telling strangers they're wrong, when them being wrong shouldn't affect you in the slightest. So, again, why are you here? Because if you're not sure then maybe you should reanalyze your actions and motivations. I'm not expecting a response, though if you continue to be a nuisance to the rest of us without responding to this, then you'll basically admit that you are a troll, just trying to get your jollies by working us up.

And for the record I actually agree the crucible trees are weak. No one noticed them before the game code itself was analyzed. Hell I looked for it and still couldn't see it. Yes they could hint that the crucible scene is not 'reality' (by simple virtue of there being reflections without source), but I find it more likely and credible that they're just the remnants of dummied-out something or other and don't actually mean anything.

Guys, you might want to check out this video presentation of my new interpretation of the ending:
http://social.biowar...ndex/11799672/1

It fits with the indoctrination theory VERY WELL, although I approach it from a slightly different angle.

To be fair: based on the clips I've seen, he has greatly improved over the course of the series.  But yeah, I just can't do it either.

Oh I thought he meant up in the citadel. Yeah, i think  the water is just rippling back because of the force of the beam.

I'm starting to drift toward this this idea too, especially after reading this:

http://www.reddit.co...t_breakthrough/

which basically gives insight to how Major Coats could be a turncoat.

Whoa. That is really intriguing. I did get the feeling that he was surprisingly antagonistic during that chat right before you talk with your squad, as well as on the shuttle.  At the time, I chalked it up to him simply being an overly-downtrodden soldier.

I'm highlighting this again because I find it remarkably interesting.  I didn't play with subtitles so I missed a lot of what Coates said during the no man's land march.  Very intriguing.

To those who have read my previous posts, you know that I'm not really pro-any particular ending theory at the moment.  I'm pro-"interesting ideas that explain things."  This possible defection on the part of Coates could add a lot to the story if they go with IT
