So, have you all heard about the supposed new multiplayer DLC, the Rebellion pack? It sounds kind of shifty, but if it's real, it could be cool.

Nope, where'd you hear it from? I'm sure bioware's putting out more multiplayer DLC but if I don't hear about it on http://masseffect.bioware.com/ or this site I probably won't beleive it.

Like I said, I'm not sure if it's true or not, but it would be cool if it is true.

Hmm...

six new classes: Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Phoenix Adept and Vanguard.

Man, I've been waiting forever to play a quarian engineer and infiltr-- ohwaitaminute.

Also, the hell is a Phoenix? I already know I am going to name my Phoenix 'Fawkes', but still...

Well, a Phoenix could be some kind of specialist human.  Also, the guy does speculate that the Quarian reference may just be a misprint and that Turian could be what he meant.

Edit: I just remembered something. Remember the rumored "The Truth" DLC?

One race that isn’t shown is the Prothean Adept and Vanguard.

HMMMMMM
.

If the DLC rumor is real, let it be known that I called it: Phoenixes are Protheans. Javik's DLC was called From Ashes. Phoenixes will be other Protheans, who have also risen from the ashes, just like phoenixes of mythology.

Wow, I just read your edit.  That could make sense.

Male Quarians maybe? Was wished by many fans.

Now you say it it would add up with From Ashes ^^

I'm guessing not, just from a face value basis.
-Vorcha classes seem wrong to me. Soldier seems mildly wrong, while Sentinel feels VERY wrong.
-Quarian Inf. and Eng. would not likely happen again at the same time. I know it could be to add male Quarians, but seriously, add a Quarian soldier to do that (Kal'Reegar).
-What the hell is a Phoenix. It could be a codename, but for what? Sound's more like Phoenix Armor to me, which is kind of dumb.
-There are a miriad of better options, so why pick these?

Who knows? We'll see later, but I hope not. Resurgance was good. This fails in comparison.

Started a new game. Figured playing FemShep for a 12th time in a row would be too many FemSheps.

I already regret my decision to play MaleShep.

Cant freaking stand his 'acting'

THIS forever.

I thought the same thing about Mark Meer too at first.  but it turns out he's actually not a bad actor.  I mean he played that one guy in the Zaeed loyalty mission who was yelling at Shepard from the balcony and he definitely put effort into that voice over, and he also played the "Biotic God."  I think the problem he had when voiving Shepard was probably direction.  they expected him to play voice this macho, no nonsense soldier type most of the time and he adjusted his acting accordingly.  the fault seems to lie more with how Bio
ware wanted Meer to portray MaleShep then Meer's acting abilities IMO.

I'll admit, a Vorcha sentinel sounds a little out of place.  However, is it any more out of place than a Krogan sentinel?  That seemed pretty strange when I saw it.  I thought a Krogan vanguard would have made more sense, and we did get one of those eventually.

Why are the Vorcha classes wrong?
Adept/Vanguard would be stupid, though funny I guess.
Infiltrator... seriously Vorcha don't look like they could be master infiltrators.
Engineer... right...

Well, just having a vorcha involved in a combat op with 3 other highly trained operatives seems strange. The blood pack uses vorcha like a zerg rush, not as precision strike units.

Maybe the Vorcha will be voiced by Mark Meer.  You know, like in ME2.

Indoc theorists, please reassure me so that I don't get pissed off and hate Mass Effect for this. At PAX East, they were explaining to the fans why the Citadel wasn't completely destroyed.   Doesn't that mean they are telling us indirectly that the ending wasn't a dream and that the IT was untrue?

Please provide a strong counterargument because this is pissing me off. I just refuse to accept this mess of an ending.

While I prefer Jennifer Hale, I still enjoy Mark Meer. I appreciated him more when I actually stopped comparing the two. He has a different way of playing Shepard, and his performance is very nice when you jusge it on its own merit.

Furthermore, the man can do seductive like nobody's business.

Considering we actually see the Citadel blow apart, unless IT is true they're pretty much just lying.

Maybe BroShep is in fact just acting like his sister, then the two get confused and both get Conrad as fan :D

Also: for me it breaks at the creation, IF I ever played BroShep he would seriously need a goatbeard and be called Sensei Shepard. However as I can't have the goatbeard this plan is damned.

Also if taken at face value: when choosing control the Citadel closes again and Reapers just fly away with it and everyone on board.

I'm not sure how he expected to convince us of MaleShep's superiority by linking us to a vid of MaleShep perfoming the same exact line just worse than FemShep.
