There is another scene besides ME3 ending in the series where TIM appears without his theme music playing in the background. When he tries to convince Shepard to spare the Collector base.

Is anyone else getting an impression that I'm ignored in this thread?

Hmm, must have missed you saying that the first time. Thats interesting.

But again, could just be because his theme doesnt really fit that moment, just like it wouldnt really fit the moment at the end of ME3.

Have you watched Wilfred at all?

I watched the first few episodes and kinda lost interest. It was alright. Did it get better? Not saying I dislike him as an actor it's just that usually he seems to get put in roles where he's either whiney or creepy, so those are the first two adjectives that come to mind when I see him in a movie.

*Sarcasm*  Way to go Byne!  You just gave them more ammo that Bioware is incompetant.

****FACEPALM****

FWIW, I'm not saying they're incompetent, I'm saying they make mistakes, and thus every little texture seam shouldn't be seen as IT, and this is simply one more example of it.  You can see this through ME1 and ME2 as well.  Though I'm out of date, the thread grew like 200 pages while I've slept, perhaps my last set of comments were resolved already

Saren wastes no time trying to stop shepard with tons of geth on Ilos, and leaving behind all sorts of army as he goes to operate the citadel arms. Saren's priority is to complete his goal, not try and convince Shepard that he's right. Although he does plenty of that as well, in an attempt to justify what he's doing.

But we get the same kind of end speech from Saren in ME1 - he tries to tell you he's right and his way is the only way, the ultimate evolution with all of the benefits and none of the weakness of either synthetic or organic.  Shepard convinces him he's wrong and he blows his brains out.

Bottom line: Indoctrinated people beleive they are doing the right thing, even if they aren't.

What shuttle crash are you guys talking about?

Your shuttle crashed directly before the beam run. New analysis leads some of us to believe that the hallucination starts right after the crash, before Harbys laser.

Still cant think of Shep being in a  shuttle crash though....

Well, its not actually a shuttle crash, its the transport you were riding in with Anderson after killing the destroyer.

It shakes violently, the game cuts to black, and the next thing you know everyone is standing outside with the transport destroyed, and no one even acknowledges what happened.

It got both serious and AWESOME. It's basically fully animated now and the new season has freakin' Elijah Wood voice acting.

My stomach churns in disgust whenever I see Elijah Wood on screen because I usually find his roles revolting, but none the less that's pretty awesome. I'll have to check it out again.

http://www.youtube.c...9wtbzGjCI#t=94s

Just watch the 10 seconds after the moment I've linked and you'll see what I mean about the production values :P

The Falling Towards the Sky scene is pretty awesome too.

Yep. Two links are my favourite bits :P

Maybe they thought the scene was to long if they showed them getting out the shuttle?

Not really true Byne, the cut after the cut to black has Shepard and Anderson examing the front of the tank and saying "****".

Seems veeeerryyyy loosely related to IT. And that's not a cutscene. There are many conversations with TIM in ME2 that don't have the theme. I hesitate to say all of them, but most that I can remember.

The vehicel is all smoking and broken, if it didn't crash then it must have been hit. Either way, they're jilted, then it cuts to black. Next scene has everyone outside the shuttle, about to foolishly charge the beam.

What? Did you say something? Sorry, wasn't listening. :P

But yeah, ill need confrimation on that to beleive it, but could be something.

Here you are:  .
I pointed this out because somebody stated that there's only a single such occurence in the series - at the end of ME3 - and that it's because TIM there is not the real TIM.

So, I'm sure this has been mentioned before but I haven't seen it in the last 500 pages (when I started reading) so I'm going to say it.

Just watching the fiancé play the Chronos mission, and in the set of video logs featuring Kai Leng and TIM the former suggests killing Shepard. Now this is after the theft of the Prothean VI, by which time both Kai Leng and TIM are generally accepted to have been indoctrinated by the Reapers.

And what is TIM's reply? 'I'm not counting Shepard as a total loss just yet.'

Now why would he say that if the Reapers didn't have one final card to play? By that point he had, after all, attempted to murder a squad mate (in some cases a LI), and frequently attempted via QEC to persuade Shep to his cause, to no avail. There would be no scope to bank everything on one last attempt at talking him round.

Unless he was aware of the impending attempt at indoctrination, and thought it had a viable shot at working.

After Thessia, I don't see what TIM could possibly still want with Shep.
