Blue or Green!
How often did you play ME3 completely through?
I've done it a lot. When I finish this one it'll be 11 times I believe.
I beat ME1 and ME2 30+ times each.

Hmm, yeah, they would carry genetics of all the races in them. Although I'm not sure it was genetics, as there is no physical contact required.
Hmm, might have missed that. When was this established?

Hey, there are humans on earth who thought Garrus attractive enough to make BW consider makig him a romance option. People also wanted a Wrex romance iirc.NeoDobby wrote...
But what would have made the first Asari who met Salarians attractive to them then? And they don't seem to carry those features on the outside. Liara is quarter Krogan for example. They always still look like asari.
We know the asari aren't shy about boldly going. The salarians... I dunno. For science(!)?
Oh, the sacrifaces one makes for science...

Not bad. I'm very new to the series, though it was on my list for a long time. I guess ME3 was already out when I started ME1. I think I heard about the ending controversy and decided to finally go for it. Just one playthrough in total for me.

I like how during the conversation with TIM and Anderson, you can see skycars flying by in the background, like everyone on the Citadel is just going on with their day.
"Yeah, I mean, theres a Reaper takeover of the station, but I've got to get to the store to buy milk!"
I thought that was weird too... they could have at least tinted it red or put some smaller reapers flying in there in there. Those "Ocules" perhaps?
It's either because Shepard has never seen it on full lock down, or full destroyed, and he can't reproduce that image from memory..... or Bioware is lazy.
yes, but considering it's the only time in the game we've seen it, they had to make it anew either way. So how could they be lazy?

Phsycial contact is not a requirment for asari reproduction, as stated by Liara in ME1 when asking about asari culture. Should read up on the codex for a better understanding, I can't remember it clearly and won't pretend I completely understand it. They "reproduce through a form of parthanogensis" by linking minds/nervous systems with the "father" figure to reproduce.

Well, at least you save money if you beat one game 30 times instead of playing 30 games once

Well you also see it during Sovereign's attack in ME1.

Yes, but they did a redesign Those are improved textures for one, and the entire citadel was redesigned according to the artbook

Btw: looking at this again I think Liara's voice acting is really bad. Either I didn't hear that in ME2 and 3 or she has gotten much better and it seems so bad in hindsight.

Most of the voice actors got better as they got more comfortable with their roles. But yeah, Ali Hillis really did improve between all three games.

^^ Up for critical evaluation. ^^
I don't know if it's been carefully analyzed before, but it certainly needs to be. This is the "Timed Out" ending for ME2: Arrival. Seeing as the basis of much of our Indoc. Theory could revolve around Object Rho, this may be more than a little important.
#1. Shepard is implanted with visions from Rho, indicating indoctrination.
#2. The actual vision itself seem to have been largely overlooked in favor of the fact that Rho initially impacted Shepard, period.
Seeing as the "vision" was considered prophetic in the lore, it's worth seeing what has and has not happened in ME3. Note the debris outside of a bright light, (possibly the Citadel Beam) with what appears to be Shepard's helmet on a stake, the original fall of Earth, (sunset), the Reapers approaching a Mass Relay, (Alpha link or not?), and what appears to be a large chunk of your crew, (plus TIM), on the Citadel with Harbinger. Interestingly, the Reaper beams appear to be firing at fellow Reapers. There is also an unusual spot on the Citadel shown, with some sort of device at the 10:30 position of the screen.
Pick it appart people! Dreams and visions are important in the ME universe. If the "artistic vision" truly has never changed, we may be looking at early renditions of the Extended Cut.
Shameless Repost.

Good to hear. But now I'm a bit afraid to go back to ME1 for a second playthrough.
Anyway, since the thread is kind of slow atm, I'll use the opportunity to go to bed. Please try to hold back while I'm gone - even though I'm just here since page 1800 or so, I grew a bit attached to it and would like to be here when we reach page 2000

Do we see that lit up texture anywhere else in ME3? Not that I can think of, so why did they "redesign" it yet make it look so similar to ME1? Sovereigns attack was a surprise, so they were in hustle and bustle mode then, and it still looks like that here, even though NO ONE should be driving around at that moment.
