Not really sure if anyone has mentioned it in this thread yet, but Ashley's VA Tweeted earlier today that she had just finished a recording session for ME3. What do you guys think? Possibly supportive of IT?

Says nothing beyond the fact that Bioware's doing much more than epilogue slides for the EC. I'll start getting excited if we hear confirmation that the Rachni Queen's VA has been brought back on board.

Or if Shepard's VAs are confirmed. Did the Rachni queen have a specific VA?

The rachni queen cant actually talk, so I'd say no. We only ever hear her speaking through that dying asari commando, the asari on Illium, and all the dead krogan in that one ME3 mission.

Oh. Right. *smacks forehead*

What if they use Liara's blackbox to show the epilogue? It records everything right?

What exactly does synthesis do to mechs?

LOTS OF SPECULATION FROM EVERYONE

Marauder Shields is my favorite mass effect meme, but this one has longevity. I've even used it at work. It's even funnier because nobody gets the joke.

What makes a man? Is it the power in his hands? Is it his quest for glory?
Give it what you got, to get to the top, so we can know your story!

I'm imagining some fat mouth breathing atlas terrorizing some half robot rabbit.

Atlas: HUMAN, I WANT YOU INSIDE ME!

*slowly back away*

Synthesis is just really creepy on top of being stupid space magic.

SCIENTIST: "So to illustrate the sheer quantity of data that can be contained within our new genetic data endocding system, I found the largest drive of my associate's computer and copied it in to this simple flu virus. As you can see, there's plenty of room left over."

SCIENTIST 2: "Wait, what? NO!"

[dives for the vial and smashes it]

Later...

KID1: "Oh, whatcha get sick with?"

KID 2: "200,000 hours of cartoon porn."

The comments. I am confused by them.

In other news, why does SR2's drive core differ so much from the engine room in the SR1, to the point of looking like the prothean sphere artifacts encountered ME1 and 2? With even full-scene 'reflections' sans characters? Was it explained and I just didn't codex enough?

Does anyone hear that hum? Is it just me!?  :crying:

Soo.. anyone got any ideas? Why wont Ashley join me on Normandy after the coup unless I take the charm option?

Since it seems a few folks felt that my photo of the rebar from earlier today was at least partially useful, I booted up a nearby save I luckily still had and snapped a few, better photos with my big-boy camera. Note: this is on Tuchanka during the preliminary turian mission, so it's, uh, "krogan rebar". Still, this is what the game thinks of when it thinks rebar:

(Apologies for them not being proper screen-grabs, but these are from a 360).

The curvature of the rebar doesn't appear to correlate with the cables in the cinematic. Also I think we pretty much agreed that those were cables, not rebar.

*sigh* Rebar,

Arian don't suppose you saved my rebar reaper cable post? Can you do me a favor and repost it? I'm in the middle of a tor operation can't find it don't have time to repost.

I'd be inclined to agree at this point, especially after recently taking a closer look at the cables scattered on the ground during the rachni-Grunt mission.

I admit, I was oddly stubborn that it was rebar. But it's reaper cables most resembling the ones found when legion is strapped up.

How willing the Virmire survivor is to join you after the coup (and to stand down when you confront Udina) depends on how much they trust you, which is decided based on the factors listed here.

They can either completely trust you, somewhat trust you, be undecided, somewhat distrust you, or completely distrust you.

Oh Idk, it seems pretty plausible to me that it's rebar. [Trollface]
