Then they better not do specific stats for the first ending chosen. About half the people I know just ran straight into green as they didn't see the ramps on the sides the first time (me included).paxxton wrote...

Seeing as Bioware/EA can collect stats regarding our classes and saves and the like, perhaps there is a masive experiment to see which ending we go for before we know that we can have any further effect on the story?
This is exactly what I thought after I finished the game for the first time and learnt about IT.
It'd be very interesting to get to know those stats.
TBH, I'm going to go back to my most recent save to that point and pick the destroy option as I think I'm over 5k on the EMS scale!

Wow, thank you!
Now, that structure behind Shep is interesting, the one that kinda looks like a shelf. Anybody have a clue what that might be?
My best guess is either an empty shelve, or a building in the distance. If you think THAT is an interesting object check the other one behind Shepard:
now that could be the destroy tube/thingy, couldn't it?
Also the "shelf" DOES look like the ones you see in London....

The destroy tube doesn't match it, it's curves are wrong, the almost like a blade bot widened and circular. Inside the destroy tube are banded together segments.

The object in the Breath scene seems much thicker, with much more dimension to it. Not to mention a big rectangular shape on it's side at an angle facing away from Shepard.

I assumed it was Shepard's armour when I saw it originally, but truthfully I had my doubts at the time as it didn't look like anything my Shepard wore.
Looking at it now it seems to be closer to Ashley's armour than Shepards, even Shepards default armour doesn't really compare to it. The closest thing I could find was the N7 Defender Armour but why render the non-default armour in the final scene

Are... Are you gonna make me go there? I'm gonna have to get more screens aren't I?

The armor worn during the end phase is Default N7 armor, shattered and battered. You can almost match the scars to Shepard's armor in both scenes. There's NO WAY that is someone other than Shepard. NOTE: this is femshep breath scene not male shep.

Well that certainly removes any doubt
Sort of connected, it always bugged me that I ended up in the default armour regardless of what you were actually wearing. I suppose it saved time and resources as opposed to rendering damage to each and every variable armour

Actually, that fellow with the documentary made an excellent point, why did they not simply mae an overlay they could apply to any armor, like they did with the face?

I think Bioware either ran out of time or didn't want to have to render X amount of variations of armor players would wear. There's so many combinations they'd probably run out of resources during that scene. Making it default N7 armor also makes it easier for that pre-rendered scene to be put together. On top of that, not sure if anyone has noticed but despite the variation in armor some of them are similar underneath the layers once you look closely, so what we see Shepard wearing isn't impossible to be other armor that's just been burnt to all hell and back.... well mostly, if that were Reckoner Knight there'd be spikes.

It plays into the time constraints aspect, it wouldn't be the only time. At one point I was running around with nothing but a sniper rifle yet during a certain scene a pistol would miraculously appear and then disappar as soon as the cut scene was done. It was more than a little jarring tbh

Let's start off with some London rubble, the following screens are taken from the first shuttle drop to the beam run, all before Harbinger's attack. They highlight the groove patterns and broken rubble structure:

Now, here are screenshots of Shepard's Breath, again these have been brightened from their original scene:

Open new windows, compare them side by side if you must, but you can clearly see the all-too similar grooves and indentations and chipped away concrete in each screen. Yes, there are grooved lines in some structures on the Citadel, but they do not match the patterns as closley as the London rubble does nor does anything on Citadel appear to have concrete inside of it. The proof is above, take it lightly.

Also because the Screens here are rather small (sorry but 800x450px doesn't cut it for me):
