You guys remember all this...

am I even allowed to be here having played ME3 in it's entirety only once?
Only reloaded the ending autosave twice to test something.

I dare to say you're hardly in the minority of only having played it once, most of this research is done while crying into a bucket of ice cream while whatching Youtube.

Heh, if only I could channel this post-ME3 energy into something more productive than Lurking BSN.

I did manage a 2nd complete playthrough the other day though \\o/ (first one was a week or so after release and didn't bother since) would never have touched it were it not for you fine folks in here giving a palatable reason to do so.

I'm pretty sure I've said it multiple times, but what I like most about this thread is that it gave people the willpower to play ME3 again after beating it the first time.

Also, in the tradition of saying what happened on the year of the current page number, here we go for 2165:

- After an Alliance research station at Sidon is attacked, David Anderson searches for those responsible alongside Kahlee Sanders, and discovers an Alliance scientist, Dr. Shu Qian, was conducting illegal AI research to unlock the secrets behind a mysterious artifact discovered near the Perseus Veil. Eventually, Anderson is assigned to work with Saren Arterius to track down Dr. Qian and his batarian supporter, Edan Had'dah. However, Saren instead kills both Dr. Qian and Had'dah, blames Anderson for the mission's failure, and uses Dr. Qian's research to search for the artifact himself.

- Terrorists steal antimatter from the Alliance cruiser SSV Geneva. The sole figure arrested names his sponsor "Cerberus". This is the first such incident of sabotage connected to the Cerberus organization.

- After a disagreement between Vido Santiago and Zaeed Massani over hiring batarians into the Blue Suns, Vido betrays Zaeed and leaves him for dead. All records of Zaeed's involvement in the Blue Suns are erased.

- Jack is abducted by Cerberus agents on Eden Prime. They fake her death and take her to the Teltin Facility on Pragia as part of a project intended to improve biotic potential in humans.

Busy year.

Also the 'artifact' mentioned in the first one was Sovereign.

Hm.
It's been more than a month and I still can't believe I kind of felt like this for almost a week.

BTW, I'm having trouble romancing Liara, in the Presidium commons whenever I talk to her she would only consider me a good friend... -___- What did I do wrong? I talked to her between missions all the time, and picked polite options.

Did you romance someone else? Are you MaleShep or FemShep?

No one. Its a new ME3 FemShep.

Pre or post-Cerberus coup?

Post.

Have you started the Rannoch Arc yet? I had to meet the Quarian Admirals (and I think take the Geth Dreadnought, not sure) before I was told Liara wanted to meet me on the citadel. She gave me the "we're good friends" line and I said "Friends doesn't cut it" and everything was golden, except she never talked to me again until the sex scene before Chronos station. :(

I agree. It's been two months and I'm still a little torn up about it. I'm worried I got brainwashed with subliminal messages or something.

Honestly, I wasnt too impressed with the romances in ME3.

I mean, it wasnt like I expected them to top Liara's LotSB romance, but still.

The LoTsB's awesomeness still fresh in our minds (relatively), coupled with all the Liara rail-roading in ME3 makes this one at least seem properly fleshed out imo, I only ever romanced Liara in ME3.
I can't imagine romancing a VS with them seemingly having next to nothing to say or do with you, ever.

For some reason the only death that made me cry was Thane's death.

I dont even know why, I didnt like him that much.

Much less than Mordin or Legion, at least, and I didnt cry for them.

I think its probably because they both went out accomplishing their life's goal.

Atoning for past mistakes for Mordin, and giving the geth sentience for Legion.

Thane went out lying in a hospital bed, choking and gasping for air.

I only romanced Liara in ME3, but I was a little annoyed at the paucity of dialogue after the romance was committed.

In ME2, I rather liked the Tali romance.

I also enjoyed Mordin's dialogue so much I always seemed to trigger his "letting Shepard down easy" dialogue instead of his safe sex advice.

Tali: I'm mourning a geth! How crazy is that?
Shepard: It's not crazy at all.

Garrus romance was good too. Does anybody remember if Liara's messages you that she'll bo on the Citadel or she just goes there without telling anyone. Also, if she does message, is it before or after she shows you her project?

Garrus in ME2 or ME3? I actually thought his ME3 romance was far better than his ME2 romance. His ME2 romance seemed really forced. Shep just out of the blue comes out and suggests having sex. Seemed really odd.

Also, Liara usually sends you a message saying she's going to the presidium after you do one or two missions post-Cerberus coup.

She messages (Or Traynor tells you) you after she shows you the project. For me it was after I met the Quarian Envoy, and before the Geth Dreadnought.
