I should learn to always wait a few minutes before reading your textwalls, so you can edit any quote tag mistakes and I dont get super confused while reading it.

I've known about that for a long time. You mean you didn't?

No, if you recall, I didnt show up in this thread until well into the 1000s. I must have missed that, and no one has mentioned it since then. Why is it never cited as evidence???

Yeah, it was one of those things mentioned way in the early days, and then forgotten about.

As for why it isnt cited as evidence, I think people just randomly decided it was a glitch and was meant to be sent at the beginning of a playthrough, despite the fact that the message makes zero sense at the beginning.

Like hell. I'm saying with certainty that it is by far the second most DIRECT clue towards IT after the breath scene. I mean come on. You beat the game, run around with your Shepard after having beaten it, and you get a message from the VS saying theyre going to come see you as if you're injured? HELLO!

I think another reason people ignore it is because its a message you get on the iphone/ipad datapad app, and a lot of people dont have that app.

And doesnt that fit well into the context of the IT? Most of the clues and evidence we use either directly comes from the previous games, or uses the events from the previous games as context, for crying out loud!  IT was meant to be figured out by people who are dedicated ME fans, and people who get that app fit that bill.

Oh, I'm not blaming you for the quote tag errors. I'm sure if I tried a textwall post like that it'd be nothing but quote tag errors.

I'm impressed with how few you make.

Allow me to properly iterate my thought process on the matter:

We have essentially two extremes here, when it comes to a ME3 player.

Extreme Casual player: Probably doesnt care all that much about the story. Mainly in it for the gameplay. Maybe hasnt even played ME1 or 2. Wont read into the plot very deep, and probably doesnt even have a major problem with the ending of ME3.

Extreme Dedicated ME player: Cares deeply about the story, moreso than the gameplay. Has played the games, read the books, understands the plot and lore (possibly has the datapad app...?), and has a very big problem with the ending. Upon closer examination, pieces start to fall into place, and upon doing some research online, finds a theory that explains the ending that makes perfect sense. Tidbits from the previous games, as well as content provided through OTHER MEDIUMS such as the novels, comics, and yes, the app, seem to support this theory.

I'm telling you, I'm convinced that message is meant as a clue towards IT. I'm disappointed that it hasnt been cited as one of the bigger clues. If I were to make my own list, it would be right there near the top.

A thought occurs to me, we are assuming that the after the destroy ending we see Shepard take a breath showing he/she is injured but alive.

What IF(and it's a big if) it isn't really Shepard taking a breath?  Following the indoctrination theory Shepard never left Earth but was possibly hit by Harbringers laser(you don't see the actual impact just the aftermath) .

So assuming that the Catalyst is yet to be activated and the repears are still a threat then perhaps the breath scene could be nothing more that Harbringer taking control of Shepards body.

After Saren died(either via battle or suicide) he took a sudden gasp when Soverign took control of his body(if someone could do a comparison video for me - I lack the tools/times/skill to do this with any quality

This also ties in with the final hours app as it could be at this point that the player looses control of Shepards body and must fight Harbringers control.

If you opted for control or synthesis then you have already been turned into a reaper (from the guide book) or merged all synthetic and organic life togther either means that Harbringer has no further need for Shepard's physical form.

It's a very rough idea but I think it fits into the current theories quite well and also ties into the Final Hours app.

Oh god... kill me now, I just stumbled on a youtube video for a assignment I missed.

Informing an asari of her Krogan husband's death.

That Krogan was Charr, that obnoxious Krogan Poet. He was a member of Aralakh Company.

i KNEW I forgot something important on that Sheaprd's-dead list:

7. The Catalyst implied that since Shepard is part synthetic the red wave would kill him/er too. You would have to somehow survive the (lets say magic-) wave to begin with after surviving the first explosion. The wave would likely deactivate all of Shepard's synthetic implants.

The dogtags look pretty enlarged from in that scene compared to when you have them in hand in the beginning, after Anderson tosses them to you. Either that or it's too close to foreground for some reason. And be careful measuring Shepard's cup size, it's changed from game to game apparently, I didn't notice the jump since my femshep in me2 wore Kestrel armor and that has a nice fat breastplate around it, and in me1 I was way too into the game.

A social circle with blackjack...AND hookers? Where was my invitation?

The whole magisters and Tevinter starting the Blights always confused me but it's been awhile since I thoroughly looked through the codex.  But I think you're right, someone at Bioware definitley likes the Matrix or the concepts that  The Matrix brought to the general viewing public.

As for the relays not wiping out life like the batarian relay did in Arrival; I've taken some more screens of these, mostly the Destroy ending, and you can actually see the Eezo core of the relay empty after it fires the beam and explodes. Since the Eezo core is what's established as the cause of the massive explosion it's posisble the relay doens't explode in the same manner. The wave sent out isn't a "supernova" explosion that we see in Arrival and matches to whatever color choice you made. So, the red wave for example being sent out and hitting every system with a mass relay would only affect Reapers/Synthetics... Right?

An interesting idea but it's a big IF. We do see a gasp, and we hear armor moving, we do Not see anything on Shepard glowing/pulsing red or yellow (Harbinger's eyes), the only color we see is a faint white/blue and the blood on Shepard's exposed armor bits.

Well I guess it would be possible to overload the portals. Even if they break apart afterwards, it is possible to destroy them without a big ass explosion. But I still wonder why the relay chain starts in the Viper system.

Also, for the record, I finally figured out why Shepard has three uniforms! :D

The one that the crewmen wear is a class C uniform, suitable for combat, but more of a uniform worn for casual affairs, training and the like.

The suitcoat with epauletts and chains (I think the black epaulettes indicate he's a Commander, rather than a Captain, where they'd probably be silver, considering Hackett's are gold and he has 3 bars as opposed to Shepard's 2, so likely that indicates Hackett is marked as Admiral of the 1st Fleet, granting him a rank comparable with General of the Army) is a class A uniform, suitable for swanky affairs, but one that should NEVER be worn into combat.

And the battledress that he's wearing at the beginning of the game is a class B, suitable for certain occasions, such as meeting an officer in the field, and it's probably the nicest uniform enlisted men would get, yet still permissable to wear in combat suitations, hence why body armor is partially integrated.

And his hardsuit is obviously class E "Killer" gear, for combat suitations only.

Also, speaking of youtube videos, tonight I have seen two commercials that ****** ME OFF.

An ad for that STUPID ****ing "Battleship" movie ugh, need I say more?

And one that just made me want to scream, some stupid Axe ad, about a guy attending a play with a "brainy girl"... and pretending to cry at the end of Shakespeare's Caesar, just to impress her. Every time I see something like that I get so pissed off. Brainy girls are a rare enough commodity without these ****sucking frat-boy douchebags snapping them up, looking for an easy lay.

Great, so now I can go on knowing there's no such thing as a brainy girl that hot, and that easily impressed by a sensitive man with an appreciation for culture. Thanks.<_< :P
