Also, speaking of youtube videos, tonight I have seen two commercials that ****** ME OFF.

An ad for that STUPID ****ing "Battleship" movie ugh, need I say more?

And one that just made me want to scream, some stupid Axe ad, about a guy attending a play with a "brainy girl"... and pretending to cry at the end of Shakespeare's Caesar, just to impress her. Every time I see something like that I get so pissed off. Brainy girls are a rare enough commodity without these ****sucking frat-boy douchebags snapping them up, looking for an easy lay.

You guys remember all this...

am I even allowed to be here having played ME3 in it's entirety only once?
Only reloaded the ending autosave twice to test something.

I dare to say you're hardly in the minority of only having played it once, most of this research is done while crying into a bucket of ice cream while whatching Youtube.

lex0r is too busy making demotivationals for silly things like ice cream!

Heh, if only I could channel this post-ME3 energy into something more productive than Lurking BSN.

I did manage a 2nd complete playthrough the other day though o/ (first one was a week or so after release and didn't bother since) would never have touched it were it not for you fine folks in here giving a palatable reason to do so.

Hm.
It's been more than a month and I still can't believe I kind of felt like this for almost a week.

I mean my girlfriend declared me crazy when I told her about IT.. but this?
Why do I care about this franchise so much? DAMNIT.

This has been me for SIX WEEKS

feminine lap, someone reciting Tennyson poetry.

Goddamn I feel lonely...

*foreversnip'd*

That reminds me, has BioWare ever actually said at what point you're supposed to receive the 'Hey, Skipper. They might actually let me see you today. Hang in there.' message from Ash on the Datapad?

Because it really makes no sense at any point throughout the game.

Cant
be from the beginning, cause Ash never once tried to see you while you
were in custody, and it cant be when Ash was in the hospital, because no
one ever stopped you from going to see her, plus her telling you to
hang in there would make no sense.

Also theres a Kaidan one:

'Hey, Commander. Thought I might come down to see you today--if they let me. Here's hoping.'

I've
only ever received the Ashley one once, and that was after beating the
game, which if she's on the jungle planet just makes no sense.

That is... very interesting indeed.
Out of curiosity, did you get the "survive" ending?

Also, just to be a pain in the arse and ask again:

4stringwizard wrote...

I just re-played "Arrival" as part
of my renegade playthrough (ME2 is still a great game, even if ME3 was a
major let-down), and I noticed a couple things that got my attention.
For those who haven't played it, or don't remember, Shepard encounters a
group of scientists that end up being indoctrinated after finding a
Reaper artifact.  While playing through, I noticed...

1. One
of the project scientists complains of suffering a recurring nightmare,
and it was the same one each time.  Shepard had nightmares of the vent
kid throughout ME3...

2.  Another scientist claimed he could hear
"whispers" in the back of his head.  Shepard's dreams involved hearing
whispers in the background.

So there you have it.  No, I am
NOT saying this confirms indoctrination theory.  While I believe IT is
very plausible, I'm not 100% convinced it's true.  However, I think this
definitely gives it more credibility.  And my apologies if this has
already been brought up before.

What do yo think?

Can someone find a video source for this?

Meh.

I was watching the Mass Effect 3 poop, that's how I got the commercial.

Someone put it quite well, I find them intriguing... yet highly disturbing.

And on an aside note, worst part about the whole thing, I actually AGREED with the one for their "sporty girl", even if you don't play sports, she won't care, if she really does like you, just put in your best effort and do all you can, good message! Beats the hell out of "Go to cultural event, act bored, pretend to cry to impress her."

A few days ago parts of a city mall were under construction and there was some concrete drilling going on. In my head sounded like Reaper growls, especially since they were drilling in intervalls.
I lol'd.

When I was driving home a few days ago, I passed some kind of truck doing electrical work.

It had three spools of wires on the back.

One spool was red, one was blue, and one was green.

My first thought was 'I need to destroy that truck.'

I was having a shower yesterday and I went to pick up my shampoo, and noticed three bottles in a row, arranged (left to right) Blue, Green and Red.

Needless to say I picked Red.

Welp, one of the reasons I don't turn on the TV anymore - except when TNG is on - and moved completely to the Internet and games.

It seems to me, Videogames nowadays are much like TV was back when it was for escaping reality for one hour or two. With the reality sh*t and on today, there's no escape from reality, and if it is some non-reality, then the story lines are ****ty...at least here in Germany.

So all glory to the Internez and games for proper entertainment.

I mean, it wasnt like I expected them to top Liara's LotSB romance, but still.

Btw why they removed these light spots in Liaras eyes she had in LotSB, they were... fascinating. Now they are just blue (okay still better than the brown she had pre LotSB).

Another tidbit from my newest playthrough. After exiting the Geth Consensus, Joker asks if Shepard can be absolutely sure everything around him is real, that Shepard is not still in the Consensus...sound familiar to a main part of this theory?

They basically rewrote her character in the comic where she works with Feron to find Shepard's body. We see flashes of that character in ME2, but she doesnt really reveal her new personality to Shepard until ME3, and even then we still dont see nearly the side of her that we saw in the comic.

A thought occurs to me, we are assuming that the after the destroy ending we see Shepard take a breath showing he/she is injured but alive.

What IF(and it's a big if) it isn't really Shepard taking a breath?  Following the indoctrination theory Shepard never left Earth but was possibly hit by Harbringers laser(you don't see the actual impact just the aftermath) .

So assuming that the Catalyst is yet to be activated and the repears are still a threat then perhaps the breath scene could be nothing more that Harbringer taking control of Shepards body.

After Saren died(either via battle or suicide) he took a sudden gasp when Soverign took control of his body(if someone could do a comparison video for me - I lack the tools/times/skill to do this with any quality

This also ties in with the final hours app as it could be at this point that the player looses control of Shepards body and must fight Harbringers control.

If you opted for control or synthesis then you have already been turned into a reaper (from the guide book) or merged all synthetic and organic life togther either means that Harbringer has no further need for Shepard's physical form.

It's a very rough idea but I think it fits into the current theories quite well and also ties into the Final Hours app.

An interesting idea but it's a big IF. We do see a gasp, and we hear armor moving, we do Not see anything on Shepard glowing/pulsing red or yellow (Harbinger's eyes), the only color we see is a faint white/blue and the blood on Shepard's exposed armor bits.

I did say it was a big IF didn't IPosted Image Then again a lot of stuff on this thread starts off with If in one way or another

We don't see Shepard's head so who knows what is actually happening up there with regardings to eyes etc. As for the glowing I believe that Saren intially just gasped back into life and then started to glow duiring the transformation of his implants.

It's far fetched but i think it is plausible, certainly more plausible that an un-armoured body surrving a massive explosion, hurtling through space, not burnng up in the atmosphere and then landing on concrete back on Earth, even if you assume Shepard is on t he citadel you still have to survive a massive the massive explosion
