I believe this as well, since the beginning of all this I have said that I trust Bioware, however I'm beginning to think that nothing short of the second coming will please some people who would much rather stick there fingers in the ears rather than accept anything Bioware has to offer

Yeah it is unfortunate some people are already like: EC is gonna sux, EC can't fix the endings.. Jeez.

Theyre just afraid of being let down, so they set their expectations low so as to make it impossible to be let down. Reminds me of some things that have happened in my personal life actually. Quite sad.

i saw what they did after they promised us so many things... so i am not expecting too much from the EC and it cant disappoint me like with the original ending. im open for surprises, but i wont let them kick me a second time in my face.

Yeah I can understand. Sometimes I'm like that too :s Mostly when I read fanmade endings and stuff, and realise how great it could have been.

For what it's worth, I think bioware knows what its doing - it's not for nought that they are (or used to be as it seems at the moment) regarded as the standard by which all other AAA developers are judged in terms of storytelling.

The problem is somewhat self fulfilling; people expect to be disappointed by the DLC so they are disappointed by it regardless of actual content.  It isn't just the pessimists though, being too optimistic has it's own problem. Nothing torpedos a product more than too much hype and expectation
