Well, Bioware already said that they'd neither confirm nor deny the IT, so I'm not completely sure what you would have expected...

So . . . Shep's body measurements? I'm going to need some context on that one. And male Shep better have been included, regardless!

I just got to the end of this thread so I can finally post, I was wondering has the idea been raised with the whole Jungle planet thing with your friends/crashed Normandy being some kind of representation of an afterlife (as in, those companions are dead)? My playthrough showed me the two squadmates I took to the conduit getting out of the normandy ( I had middling/low EMS) and I figured since the how jungle scene makes no literal sense, maybe it isn't meant to? I'm not trying to bring religion (ignore my goram immature made two years ago username) into this and I've only followed the last 200 or so pages of this massive thread, so please don't flame me if this has been covered, I just thought you guys seemed like a reasonable bunch to have a discussion with

My belief (and I think the consensus of most of the people on this thread) is that the jungle planet scene is Shepard dreaming after the final decision. It's a dream of hope that Shepard has to make him/her feel like the best choice was made

I think that the Reaper invasion isn't over. It took ages for the Reapers to destroy the Protheans. Why would it take a timespan of a single game for them to complete (or not) the current cycle?
what you got to remember is that it wouldn't take them as long as it would for the protheans of a few reasons
1 - the protheans numbered in the trillions, alot more than the modern races number combined and sacrificed individual planets to buy more time.
2 - the modern raced in the game have pooled almost all their ships and armies together for the assault on earth so if that fails most of the fleets/armies will be decimated, damaged or outright destroyed so the reapers could destroy each race easily as there would be basicly no resistance.
so all that being said there would be no need for any other game just a cinematic telling us how the reapers swept through the galaxy and killed everyone.
what a cheery thought huh?

I just finished another playthrough. Though I find the whole Maj. Coates theory dubious at best, I did notice that his line "our forces have been completely decimated" (paraphrase) began at exactly the same time as the camera panned to Harbinger flying away. It could be something, maybe. Or nothing. That and Anderson knowing Harbinger by name and that he was one of the reapers coming down seems suspicious. Either "clues" or coincidence and and poor writing.

Moreover, I suppose BioWare considers all those multiplayer weekends as fighting the Reaper forces. I bet they have a counter at their offices in Edmonton.

Interesting, but doesn't the Alliance know Harbinger, according to the Codex? So the fleet should know and recognize Harbinger from afar. Remember the last shot of Shep in ME2 where he's holding a tablet with Harbinger on it before looking into the 'sunset'.
But why Harbinger decided to 'direct this personally', or our brave hero's sudden fear of Harbinger, dunno.
