Yeah. You can very clearly hear female and male Shepard talking with the kid. Really weird. I mean even if it was a "dream/indoctrination/hallucination/whatever", why do you hear the other Shepard's voice actor?

No please focus on the fact that almost everything good about those decisions are assumed by shep, but never actually stated by GC. Will there be peace? Deflect the answer. On the control option you will control him, but GC didn't tell for how long (look at it this way, if I can control you while I'm alive but by trying to control you I will die, I can "technically" control you). Aside from the fact that synthesis appears to be "the best choice" but no assurance of victory is given. Be honest, would you take such an important decision by questioning them with such simple queries?

To me it's clear that GC is being deceitful. Any comments?

I agree it makes control and synthesis appealing to shepard and has nothing but bad things to say about destory lets not forget he pretty much states destroy will also kill shepard since he is part synthetic. Yet the destory ending is the only ending shepard can live in and requires the most ems to get that scene if shepard breathing while lying on rubble.

i have problem with the synthesis ending which seems to be one that catalyst/kid want's what exactly happens in that one, Shepards DNA is sent across the galaxy and all will be organic/synthetic. That one is so full off plot holes that "you cannot comprehend". What is the "good" thing in that ending? What if they try to build synthetics...are the synthetics they build already organics so they basically build themselves? etc.

Despite some beliving that the actual ending is the true ending, i refuse to belive that after the excellent journey that was the ME trilogy thats what we get for an ending. I support this theory not only because it makes sense (really, there is no freaking way you can explain why shep is alive after that explosion in the Destroy ending) and because Bioware & EA would shoot themselfs in the foot by destroying the fanchise (because really, with an ending like that, the explosion of each mass relay would destroy entire sistems, not to say that a discharge that can kill the reapers would also destroy all navigational capability of a spaceship, meaning everyone in the battle is mostly dead)

1. endings leaked- bw came up with this little indoctrination ending to compensate

2. bw released space edition knowing people would blab. real ending coming so everyone would get it at the sametime (what a genius way to end a truly epis story like mass effest)

3. casey hudson said hold on to your saves. ending expansion pack (DA:O awakining style)

4. read the codex on indoctrination

5. infinite bullets

6. shepard waking up on earth

7. squad mates teleporting unharmed onto a normandy getting ready to jump through a relay

8. destroy being the renagede option (In dreams everthing is reversed.... also kinda explains 1m1)

9. gambles post about this being the hardest day ever.

10. guide book talks about secret ending possibly taken out. only to be given to us later.

11. kid dissapearing after you destroy

12. vega talking about humming

13. allmost killing virmire survivor

14. reapers hate you why would they tell you the truth. Read the art of war.

19. shep does not have a breathing mask on ( in mass effet 1 when your elevetor stops shep says "suit up" then you fight up the citidel tower

He doesn't look like he's turning into a Reaper, he's just burning to ashes in the Control and Synthesis ending, but not in the Destroy ending, which is why Destroy is the only ending where Shepard can actually live.

i doubt that when you get burned up, your eyes change color and youre skin looks exactly like reaper tech. In fact its quite possible that Shepard was reconstructed with Reaper tech and burning off his skin revealed this.

It's Maleshep's voice too. I'm guessing they included both whether you played male or female to make it sound more haunting and less evident it's in fact shepard's voice behind the child's

I didn't see anything there... but look at Shepards eyes when he chooses the control option.

They turn into TIM/Saren's eyes.

Could be a simple coincidence. And does this change if you were more Renegade in your playthrough?

Not sure, I chose control in a second playthrough with basically full paragon, chose all paragon options etc. And I ended up with purple TIM/Saren eyes.

I just want to say...

I love each and everyone of you working on this Indoctrination theory. If it wasn't for you guys, I would have lost hope a while ago.

The Catalyst saying "You have hope. More than you think" gives me so much hope for some super secret ending... I'm freakin' out right now.

Yes, and by contrast he bends over backwards when discussing the destroy option to list the parade of terribles that will happen if Shepard chooses that.  After all, GC is Harbinger's projection -- and Harbinger is lying through his synthetic teeth.  The Reapers are on the ropes.  The Crucible has docked with the Citadel.  Organics are on the precipice of unleashing their super-weapon against the Reapers.  And so Harbinger will do/say anything at all to avoid that -- he's desperate.

The only thing that is still kinda messy for me is that, assuming "Destroy" is the ending you need to choose to "wake up". Does that mean that Shep would be willing to sacrifice every Geth and EDI? Isnt that a bit too renegade of a choice?. I mean, my paragon Shep does imply that Geth should be considered living persons in one point of the game. I think it was while I was debating with the Admirals aboard the Normandy.

That was the only reason I didn't choose "Destroy" at the end. I just couldn't bring myself to kill every Geth and EDI.


EDIT: Even if it doesnt really end up happening. If it`s just to "wake up". How did she/he know?

He's being completely deceitful. Especially with the fact that if you choose Control or Synthesis, he hangs around and kind of smirks at you when in Destroy he disappears almost immediately.
