There's a video somewhere in this thread of that bullet going through the holes, at least the last hole right before the ramp. You can shoot through the last hole but you don't fall through.

As said, adding more collision there would just be annoying.

No one knows how that works.

We don't know how but we know it does.

The VI in ME1 points out that there was no indcotrination on Shep and his crew.
The VI on Thessia points out Kai Leng and shuts down.

Since reaper tech gives out signals for indoctrination, it's possible that scientists found out how to detect them and integrated them to the VI's.

Remember that the protheans were cut off from each other. So the tech that one group made was innaccessible to the other. Therefore, Javik's peice of the galaxy may not have had this vital tech, which is why the reaper agents succeeded.

Oh, WAIT THEN EPYON!

EDIT - right, if you're near the run at the beam, I noticed something. if you have a sniper or any gun with good zoom you can see the area around the beam is bare, apart from that one bit of rock Marauder is hiding behind. When you're blasted, you wake up among 3 mako's destroyed and the trees. Now, I can accept that the Makos were destroyed after you were hit, fine. But there's a large...engine part? directly in front of you that a soldier is slumped on. that sure as hell wasn't there before. It turns out you pass on of these while running at the beam. Dead center of the map, essentially.

Sorry for the drama, couldn't be bothered doing all of London again to double check/screenshot.

MAGIC GUN THAT YOU SHOOT WITH MIND POWERS BEFORE YOU EVEN PICK IT UP!!!!!!

I like how when you go farther up the citadel (deeper in the hallucination) the focus on your gun is diminished.

On Earth they focus the camera in on your gun before you get control, and you magic shoot it BEFORE you get control.

In the collector halls, they show you picking it up again and Shepard looks at it strangly, then continues on.

In the end it just appears in your hands nonchalantly after the catalyst talk.

Probably nothing to see here, but it's still seems to stick out for me.

I don't know, assuming it's Shepard's will power, there could be some significance to this.  Then again, we could just be grasping at str... I mean emergency induction ports. :) (I just got to that part again, I love it.  Unfortunately, I went to Javik before talking to Tali, so I missed the intoxicated version of their conversation. :crying:)

Meh I don't buy it, of all the texure they could have used, the use one with gaping holes right down the middle? To strange. No other examples of this in the game.

It sticks out just like all the other cases where your squad randomly uses the default assault rifle or default Carnifex.

No, you misunderstand. You can fire the gun. In the cutscene. Before Shep has picked it up.

Right after Harbys laser hits, keep pulling the trigger and it actually fires the gun before you even pick it up.

Btw if you don't want to always reload at Shields, you can use these saves just change the carrer, 1st save is the run to the conduit, 2nd is after beaming up, 3rd is right before Anderson/TIM, 4th is after talking to the Guardian.

Possible is the key word.  Considering that the VI also mistook Shepard for Prothean because of the cipher, it's almost certain that the thing was poking around in his head.  Because really how the hell else could it make a call based on Shepard having some knowledge/memories?  Not without precedent, asari mindsex does the same thing.  Given that, it's also a reasonable hypothesis that its scanning method was just looking for some of the telltale mental markings of indoctrination.

Which is more likely?  Doesn't really matter.  All I have to do is present a feasible alternative to the VI scanning for Reaper tech so "Cerberus rebuilt Shepard with some Reaper tech" is still in the game (no pun intended).  Which I believe I have.

Will see if I get a save where you activate the missile launchers, when coming home, hope there is an autosave when triggering the cutscene, if not you always have to hold out until they're ready.

I wonder if any other game in history has been this picked apart - all the little glitches and everything.  It's BW's own fault about that, I guess, for leaving us in the dark until summer. :P

Oh, ok. Sorry for misunderstanding. I'll try it during my current playthrough.

Honestly, something like this makes it hard to draw a line between odd programming and intentional mindf*cks. If someone comes up with a rational  interpretation I'll gladyl accept it ^_^. But at this point...why would Shepard hallucinate something like this; and while it's just as odd as the tree reflections on the Citadel, I feel it way more difficult to not take it as 'face-value' programming bug.
