I saved the collector base and didn't get this line..

Geeze, why does it always take me 3 or 4 edits to get images to appear? I don't change what I type, but it never works first time :@

Hey guys! Been following the indoctrination theory for quite some time now.. and it's really fascinating. I would love to see Bioware pick up on this theory and give us that absolutely mind-blowing epic final to the series that we all want..
BUT, if in any case the 'real' ending is nothing like IT, I will always be mind-blowed also by EVERYONE who stood up and keeps giving ideias, passion, and keeps threads like this alive. I don't comment often (in fact, this is my first post here), but I just couldn't resist to give a pat in the back to everyone here. Despite what Bioware thinks is the real ending, the coherense and overall enthusiasm regarding this theory will make me believe that this is, and always be, MY real ending.
Thanks everyone for giving me closure on one of my most beloved series of all time! :D

Why, thank you! It's nice to see that there still are some friendly people out there in the BSN!:)

An interesting note is that there are DLC hooks for adding additional endings.

Could you elaborate?

They might have kicked it out in the release, but somewhere someone uploaded an old configuration file that seems to display some sort of how the ending should be structured. There was an entry for each scene, the run to the conduit, Anderson and TIM, then the elevator to the Guardians garden (note the word garden and remember the trees), and then a list of endings and something about DLC endings...
Just have no idea where I saw that file :P

The only leak that ever happened was to the console, the script was embedded in the beta, which makes me highly suspicious of the leak, software has to go through weeks of certification process for security and quality reasons before it's placed on the microsoft servers to be released to the consoles, in my opinion the beta was leaked deliberately.

I still remember them saying they would have to rewrite the ending because of the leak, I don't think so, it would be way too costly to bring back the development team and VA's just to amend an ending that's already done, in my opinion, the leak was part of the player indoctrination process.
My opinion of course, but the microsoft certification process is definitely not opinion.

This is actually not quite correct. All internal files for the XBox are on the MS servers, also for certification. The reason why you as a normal user can't see them are just some flags in the entry for the software and the status of your account. Same goes for Origin or Steam. For example when you work at EA you get an EA Origin account that usually can only be accessed from registered PCs that has access to all EA games, even the ones not yet released. I don't know the exact procedure for XBox but from what I heard it was that companies can create a group and users in that group have access to these beta games. Now if someone set the flag wrong for a game it's publicly available and not just for that specific group.

Just never use the default WYSIWYG editor but always the BBCode one, much more reliable.

It's marked in the galaxy map (spoke was a bad descriptor, not really sure how to describe it)

The two "ends" that make the centre look like a sweet/candy wrapper. in this picture it's pointing to...seven o'clock?

Interesting. Well, that nixes my idea of where it might have derived.

The origin of the relay-destruction-reaction was the Charon Relay, we can see in the end. If makes sense with the positions of the relays we see in the end, I don't know, but that point is pretty clear to me.

I want to know what causes hm to say this as well.

I plan on finding that out, once I've learned to use the SG editor without breaking stuff :P

I've checked and it's in BOTH non synthesis and synthesis endings. But it wasn't in MY synthesis. Either it's in a narrow bandwidth of EMS, or it depends on other factors.

To the lab!

Ive seen it in both synth and no synth too, it maybe triggered by some earlier choice? Maybe the collector ship has something to do with it?

Edit. ok not collector base then.

Maybe it's a combination of choices that tend to favor AI and technology that could produce them.

Right, just like there is a combination of factors that lead to Ashley /Kaiden trusting you, maybe this is a similar case.

I was saying that this person checked the end cutscene and mapped out the order and layout of the beams and systems the beams hit.

When you overlay it with the galaxy map, we can use two things to orient. The bits circled here...

Posted Image

And the "spokes" in the galactic central, here.

Posted Image

Posted Image

When you put this altogether you get this.

Posted Image

Not only is the starting system not Sol, but the beam actually travels to AND from Sol, despite the relay being destroyed.

When you overlay it with the galaxy map, using the spoke bit/thing I pointed in the last post you get that it fits with Apien Crest being the origin of the beam. And as it turns out this is right, since every other system is in the right position.

I've never once had that fail on me.

Except for just now, when I was quoting you.

Somehow your failure at inserting images seeped into my post, and my image didnt show up till I removed your quote.

Fails on me every time. It always works, in the end but takes around 3 edits to do so, with me typing the same thing each time.

Think the forums being weird at the moment I have to keep reloading just to see images and even then it says it's still loading the page.

That is because the WYSIWYG editor sets the url tag in the img tags and ****s up everything.
