Okay I am going to stop cause my joke is so going over your head lol. Anwyay back later :P

No I got it I just wanted to try and stay a little more on topic :P

That breath scene's ambiguity bothers me, fresh eyes never hurt when tryign to pick apart the strange objects.

I had my one year old daughter look at it. [is that fresh enough?] she said it looks like "Ted-Ted!" mystery solved.

Hmm. Fresh yes, but "Ted-Ted" remains unidentified. Too focused on big picture I think. Not enough of little picture. Eyes need rest. Goodnight.

Take my poll to find out where your heart lies....

http://social.biowar...56/polls/33774/

And also because I need more IDT support!

I'm suprised that so many people have stopped caring since I've been gone! Image IPB

Oh and anything new going on with IDT?

*hug* awww... I missed you...

Been out two days with back problems, will be back in the morning after a good night's sleep, going to make the biggest mother****ing wall of text yet, since I have 40+ pages to catch up with, and already, I see things have gone to hell without me.

It's amazing how things pass so quickly.
Anyway I'm sure you've already went over this but how the heck did Shepard wind up deep in rubble anyway? The beam couldn't have been that powerful to cause Shepard to fly several hundereds of meters back let alone rip the entire ground apart. I just never saw that part being explained yet.

Somebody posted a thread about this and I was wondering what you guys and gals take on it was, it was basically asking, if IT is true then what is the prothean vi referring to on Thessia when it states that they are driven by an external force? (it seems to be foreshadowing the catalyst is the implication, I have my own ideas but I was curious as to your take)

The demands of the first reaper, seeking to perfect all other younger races in a form of twisted philanthrophism.

Interesting, I always assumed that the reapers must have an extremely iron gripped guiding hand, they have such a massively strong unity of purpose and action over such a vast length of time, that is simply impossible to achieve with each being a self determining individual (let alone a nation unto themselves).

When Harbinger was introduced in 2 (and his part in arrival) I thought that had to be it, he is a deified dictator, I'm still hoping that is the case (though maybe I'm just clinging onto the idea of a boss fight with Harby for the EC too much :P)

Your posts seem to evoke in the reader a mental state some where between conscious comprehension and sub-conscious 'knowing'.
I hope that made that made no sense what so ever.
Just got in. Glad to see your feeling better.

For anyone interested, I have a thread on a speculative variation on IT about whether Synthesis could mean something a little different than traditional indoctrination. Basically proposes Synthesis represents an "offer of negotiation" to Shepard from the Reapers.

Here's the thread link:
http://social.biowar.../index/12013315
Thought it might have more appeal or interest to people who follow IT, whereas IT deniers tend to dismiss it out of hand.

It's pretty purely speculative, but thought it was an interesting idea. Let me know what you guys think!

I really like this! Hell, it doesn't even change anything about already established IT Image IPB

That's an awesome name by the way Image IPB

Haha, thanks! Feel free to comment, question or critique the idea more in that thread, it'd be great to get more thoughts working on it.

Maybe the Crucible focuses dark energy to create a deadly superweapon that bends the very fabric of spacetime
creating quantum discontinuities that absorb the spacetime around them like black holes. You can point that weapon at exactly the space where a Reaper is.

Just 'cause you can say it doesn't mean you aren't talking out of your ass here. "Quantum discontinuities"? "Absorbing spacetime"? Contrary to popular interpretation, black holes aren't vaccuum cleaners. If you want to describe something very scary with lots of technojargonbabblations that actually has some scientific plausibility, try Vaccuum Metastability Event. Sorry for any sleepless nights as you wonder if some morons somewhere, somehow, somewhen in the distant past far far away caused the annihilation of their civilization, of every civilization everywhere. And that'd we'd never see it coming.

Hi everyone IT-related. Seems it was a night of trolling yesterday. Image IPB

@Simon_Says: Yup, black holes stretch everything infinately at the event horizon. So no information is lost and the balance of reality is preserved. See, I know that. Image IPB

Because that's the original concept art for the very same room ;)

In the art book, that room is actually listed as being apart of Cerberus Headquarters, not The Citadel. You were to walk past all those bodies, and arrive at the Illusive Man's office. Least according to the art book.

Alright, I got it, it's what if time *tinfoil hat equipped*

What if... The indoctrination attempt....Starts on The Illusive Man's station? That's where the end-game save reverts you to, right? Simple explanation, after the Station mission you can't go anywhere else so it would be an ideal place to have an end-game save.... but, what IF?

TIM's office and the Console Level on the Citadel certaintly have similarities. Including their round architecture and the round plattform in the middle.

Within the framework of IT, adds to the idea of Shepard seeing places similar to his memories.

To give a more general answer (ignoring the direct question about Vendetta), I'd say that any possible "head of state" type entity (maybe a function that Harby has in mind for Shepard), that represents any given reaper nation, would be victim to pretty much the same indoctrination-supported doctrine and philosophy, as any of its peers and impose them upon its "citizens", however complex they/it may be - them presumably being something of an extension of itself, yet "more".
(EDIT: I.E: They think alike enough, that no "master reaper" may be necessary.)

I don't know if this has been brought up and answered, because honestly I lost track of this thread at the 100's. So I'll ask now. While I'd like to believe in the indoctrination theory so starbrat wouldn't exist, and there might be some hope for the geth...

What makes me wonder is how the whole theory seems to be based on "Choose destroy to break free, starchild is trying to get you to choose the other two". But that clearly isn't true, If a player has a low EFS score, he only gets to choose destroy. Now, even if we go by the whole "low EMS Shepard isn't worthy enough to be indoctrinated by them" -theory, why would the reapers want to be destroyed? They give no other option other than have Shepard blow it up.

Or in the case reapers aren't really destroyed from it, why would they let Shepard just walk away from the indoctrination? What was the point of dragging him up there?

Not trying to start a flamewar of IT vs. anti-IT, but I don't see how these points could be argued.
