I don't have a problem with Ash, but Asari years don't directly translate to human years by basically moving the decimal left one space. She's not 10.6 human years old.

Of equal maturity, both mentally and physically, Liara would be about 19-22 ish. Tali would be 15-18 ish. That's an estimation, but I think it's pretty close.

Not to nit-pick, but since Quarians have the same average lifespans as humans, I'd say the "maturity levels" would be about the same. The pilgrimage is a cultural right of passage, not necessarily the point when one becomes mentally/physically adult.

That is brilliant.  I remember it from earier.  However, I think this song might be pertinent as well if Shepard manages to actually beat indoctrination.

Pertinent question: do we consider Javik---and the things we learn about his cycle---as "canon" since he/From Ashes was (not-so-) optional DLC?

What we learn through Javik of the protheans is considered canon. The character's presence itself is a Schrödinger's Gun, like much of the rest of the ME universe. (even without DLC, see: Citadel Council)

Or the more, "darker" theme and realisation of the event that occured, and since the fight aint technically over, I'd go with this theme, and I can't stop personally listening to it. It's so bloody good.

Watching the second video... I teared up.  It reminded me why we're doing this.  We won't let the Reapers take us.  We will not give up, we will never be silenced, we will hold the line, and we will win!!!

Someone that plays KOTOR, I'm having a bug that's driving me crazy. I searched all the internet and nothing worked for me, so this forum is my last hope.

In the Sand People Enclave, I'm going disguised, with HK-47, and the guards shoot me on sight. How I resolve tthis? I'm almost killing them cause I'm trying to solve this for like 2 hours. So, u guys are my last hope from falling into the Dark Side :)

It has been a very long time since I played KoTOR, but Im pretty sure that you have to go talk to their leader ( he is somewhere near the middle of the enclave) and make a deal with him. I think you can persuade him if your skill is high, but if not he asks you to go get him a moisture vaporator or somthing. I wouldn't recomend makin peace with them because you lose out on the XP from fighting them and the money from the Czerka bounty on them BTW you do not get darkside points for killing them;)

Fair enough, I didn't remember how long quarians live, just estimated based on the character. Does anyone know how long turians live? I don't remember ever learning that.

I'm assuming about as long as humans.  The Asari and Krogan are unique for having such a long life span, and conversely, the Salarians are unique for having such a short life span.  Also, I remember that they mentioned that the average Drell has a life span of 85 years.  As for the rest, I'm guessing they're similar to humans, since those are the only ones I remember that were actually explicitly stated.

Gotcha. My primary concern wasn't really involving indoctrionation---more about the asari's place in their culture.  But I also thought it'd be important to know whether it's considered canon that Shepard gets an ear-full of Javik's thoughts about destruction and a cynical distrust in synthetic life.

Here's a sort of off-topic question. How do you start off a new game wearing your choice of casual attire? Is it as simple as it being the last casual thing you wear in your imported ME3 save or does it require a save editor?

All I know is that there is something not right with the three choices .

Take Synthesis-when Saren said he let Sovereign turn him to a synthetic being he thought he was still in control but he wasn't,

Control- The Illusive man is Indoctrinated so the whole I believe the Reapers can be controlled is false

Destroy- You live if you have War assents/Galactic reediness, and the whole point is to kill the Reapers not to enslave them to your will.

In the end I think Bioware did this to allude the people who have not played ME, and ME2 to trick them it was a good ending and that for the fans of ME to realize what had transpired at the end.

Yeah, but the guards weren't supposed to shoot me, they should take me to the chief. Anyway, if I don't get it in the nex time I try, I'll kill them.

Considering that Javik was once a major part of the core game, then edited out to be DLC, I'd venture to say that many of his lines could be considered canon and some of their information/foreshadowing could still be relevant.

Well if that's true, then a good deal of the Mass Effect fanbase are as much bricks as people claim Shepard himself/herself to be.

That's how I see the content, absolutely, though BioWare's official claim about the dev cycle states otherwise---which does impact whether it's acknowledged as surface-level canon or not (the "my Shepard didn't experience this" argument).

Javik's role in the current game isn't necessary, or plot changing, from my perspective. What he does add is insight and possible plot hints which players will miss if they do not have the DLC. Not what I'd consider MUST HAVE (essential) for the story, but it gives the story greater depth.

But I'm a **** for additional information and dialogue, so in my personal case he is a "must have". :P

OT:  I'm replaying ME2 at the moment, and now I really want to play a game set in the ME universe that is focused on Aria...possibly one where the PC is Aria!  Anybody else think that would be fun?

That could be fun.  Maybe a prequel.  Also, I still want to see a retake Omega DLC where we get Aria as a temp or even permanent squadmate.

And I take it that the file doesn't have anything to do with game-plus operations?

Nope: http://i45.tinypic.com/34fl4i0.png
"NewGamePlusSave" handles that.

I myself have been intrigued by this Legendsave for along time :o Apparantly its just the pre-cerberus base autosave; but the name is suspicious enough.

I hope they introduce free-roam/hub-like areas in Omega. I wanna chill in Afterlife with garrus.

My favourite characters in the series were Aria and Jack. Was totally gutted that neither of them got big roles in ME3.

Maybe I just have a thing for women with backbone, much more fun :P

That would be cool.  Maybe James could get in another brawl and Shepard would have to help him out.  Renegade interrupt punches and Paragon interrupt defences again anyone?

I just came out with a really wild theory. If the Citadel and Mass Relays were built by the Reapers, could they be giant indoctrination devices? I certainly spent a lot of time there during all three games. As I remember anyone aboard Sovereign started acting all weird.

So does anything Reaper related have the ability to indoctrinate or just certain things?
