Btw why has even Shep to wait when entering/exiting the war room. What is scanned for? Weapons? Indoctrination? Jellybeans?

I never gave it much throught, other than it's time to load the other part of the ship.  I suppose in reality it would be for weapons or listening devices as the discussions in the War Room often detailed strategies that would cause more devestation if it fell into the wrong hands

I've always found that rare occurrence bizarre.  And noone has stumbled onto any coding clues that might suggest why this happens---outside of a glitch? Seems like a pretty big flub in an otherwise fairly straightforward (coding-wise) sequence.

I think if Shepard encouraged EDI and Joker to pursue a relationship then they came out of the Normandy together.

I did that in one of my playthroughs, and also took her with me in every mission including the endgame, yet she didn't walk out :|

So perhaps you have to answer the questions about human nature and her purpose she asks and tell her to think for herself.

I did that too, the purpose of that playthroufgh was too see EDI come out. So i took her on every mission, answered all her questions positively and encouraged her to enter in a relationship with joker..

Yes. In my screenshots you see in the third image Shep is already carrying the Predator. This isn't visible if loaded earlier (like the child disappearing) as the Predator is loaded when firing the shots at that thing.
I Alt+F4ed out the first time because I noticed I didn't have Fraps running.

I've got a screenshot of the explosion scene where you clearly can see Shep's gun. Here it is:

Yes I am absolutly positive that Edi stepped out after destroy as did Tali my LI - I spent ages talking to these two and took them on pretty much every mission in game. - I figured if Tali was with me on every mission I had a better chance of keeping her alive.

When I have time I may reload to verify but I'm almost certain she was there
