I haven't seen any copyright, so technically, we've done no wrong! 

But my Penis is a national hero and loved by millions and takin the nickname away from IT is heresy!

It won't work on Firefox. It works fine on IE9.

Am I seeing this right? Did the gun change?

Yeah. I noticed in the game files that the red ending loads the files for the predator and carnifex, while the other two endings only load the carnifex. So, I did some digging, and Megumi was good enough to get the excellent screenshot.

Carnifex is the gun used when shooting Mordin, so it's got negative connotations, while the Predator is Sheps usual gun and the one TIM pulls from Anderson (despite Anderson being shown to have a carnifex before the beam charge),

More gun symbolism!

Doesn't make sense why they changed the gun but it isn't the first time we've seen them do this in the game.

Btw Epyon, geeze, pieces of the Geth Dreadnought in the crucible room? More odd reuse.

Also I'm interested in the fact that the models for the Crucible refer to it only as "the device", rather than the crucible. But as ever perhaps I'm reading too much.
