This has probably been discussed, but since I'm here now, is it possible to find bodies to the squadmates on the walk to the conduit?

If your EMS is high, you don't see their bodies. If it isn't, you see their bodies.

Realy? How would they get up there then?

Damn, my EMS was 4000 or higher. Can I have a link to a vid showing their bodies?

I don't know about a hallucination, but it definitely felt like a bad dream, complete with the dry mouth you wake up with after. Ick. I have been a Bioware fan since the game this picture is lifted from was new, which is a long time, and this is by far the most disappointing ending of any game they have ever fabricated. I don't mind sacrifice, or mega happy endings not existing, but this was really, really disappointing in its lack of creativity, and general underwhelming-ness (if that is an applicable word). I'm so unhappy I think I need some form of vodka to jump start my evening. On a Monday night. Ick. ick.

Hmmmm, Did anyone here get to lvl 60 in their first playthrough? If so, how? I only got to 57.

Strange then.

I did every single sidemission, all main missions and collected all artifacts etc. Ended up as only being lvl30-40ish.

On my 2nd run now and dont seem like Ill make lvl50 this time either.

When I imported my character from ME2 (who started in ME1), I began the game at level 30 or so. I believe I ended around level 57 as well.

For me, it was weird that Shep doesn't argue with the kid at all. It's like she is just accepting the choices presented to her without any doubts or questions that go deeper than "why".

If this theory is correct than Bioware is the best damn RPG game maker ever. Really. But... it's a real gutsy move in that case, because a lot of people (who are not on these borads) are really angry with the endings. Also, in case you do want your "alive" ending you have to do multiplayer, and some people are not at all happy about it. We'll see...
In any case, I'm a strong believer in this theory and I wanna thank you guys for collecting all this evidence and ideas and put them together.

Skipped over last few pages - new Twitter update from Chris Priestly:

@BioEvilChris Would it be too much if I asked you something since you work at BioWare? It's not ****ing about ME3.

@KenRaves Shoot, I may not be able to answer, but I'll try.

@BioEvilChris During the final run, just before the end, are the two squadmates with you killed? I understand if you can't answer.

@KenRaves I don't think we've revealed that yet. Sorry.

That is HUGE! :o

Wow! How recent was this?

Really recent. I saw it on twitter and I flipped out. Are the going to reveal there's a bug they're fixing or Bioware just trolling with those endings?

With all the outrage over this, I don't think they can afford to troll us right now. People are already angry with this ending, but trolling everyone with cryptic messages would send the entire community into an all-out fury.

Serves us right. As long as we get an awesome ending somehow I don't really care.

They could say that to anything.

BUT I WOULD PREFER TO GRASP AT STRAWS

Not straws... Emerrrrrgency Induction Ports...

Emergency induction... straws.

Sorry, I didn't get to read all of the pages yet, but I noticed something when limping in the hallway you first get beamed to on the Citadel. The piles of bodies all have a body wearing Ashley's famous phoenix armor, who I left behind on Virmire. Did that change for those who left Kaidan behind? And every body in the pile has the same face and no hair. That struck me as really odd. Maybe just lazy background stuff?

Can anybody check this?

I just did. I see Ashley's armor and then there are two other armors that repeat. I took screenshots and I'll up them in a sec.

Get up where? In my playthrough, I had 4.8k EMS and I didn't see my squadmates' bodies even when I specifically looked. Someone way back in this thread pulled up a video where you see their bodies. I don't have the vid right on me, sorry.

Me too. I thought WHAT THE **** ARE THEY DOING?

i know its wierd because normally when you see them they are on a terminal, and if the dream is made up of familiar surroundings, then thats probably why they are acting like there is a terminal.

They aren't up there, they're in front of the conduit when this whole slow-walking scene starts.

To the Normandy. That cutscene with the Normandy is always there, so if they're dead on the ground, then obviously they weren't rescued.

Ya know, the whole Normandy thing really has me questioning what's going on. In my game I was running with Garrus and Tali in the end. When joker gets off the ship suddenly Tali isn't too far behind him. How could she possibly be on the Normandy when we were fighting on the surface?!

Little by little I'm becoming less angry, what was presented to us just wasn't logical. When did Joker ever run from a fight?! Never! Even when the SR-1 was half destroyed he was still fighting!

This just doesn't add up, I'm expecting a level to be unlocked at a later date, would there be a way to look at the files and confirm/deny this?

Somebody with a PC copy would have likely found any sort of hidden level on the disk by now.

Apparently the 360 disc has 6gb more content than the PC one I was just reading. So they may have dealt with that lol.

Well that could be it though... a PC almost HAS to have an internet conenction to pick up whatever is coming. It's also the platform you can search for goodies.

What if the goodies are already on the console discs, but need to be downloaded to PC to combat the possibility of the hidden level hunt?

Also, another reason this could be Shepard hallucinating/indoctrinated is that during the scene with Anderson and The Illusive Man, they behave as if they are the devil and angel on your shoulder - One is in favour of control while the other favours destroy. When the God Child gives you your options you see the image of The Illusive Man trying to control the Reapers and Anderson trying to destroy them, both of them representing the two sides of Shepards subconcious. This seems highly suggestive of it all being in Shepards head.

Then again. They did re-use three models of nobles in the throne room fight in DA2, over and over again. BW is no stranger of cutting corners. Which, if they did, only proves that the ending was quite rushed

Reason why people think the Normandy scene involves teleportation/plot hole.

I'll try to find the vid where your squadmates are dead.

Here's some interesting things about the Citadel as well when you get there.

1) Upon arriving, it's very similar to the Collector ship/base, Anderson even mentions this.
2) The chasm part looks very similar to the Shadow Broker's ship's internals.
3) The Citadel control room looks just like TIM's office.
4) There are vehicle lights moving on the surface of the Citadel in the background, WTF?!
5) TIM's encounter is nigh identical to Saren's.

Definitely adds more of a dream sequence happening with these coincidences.

One thing, My Shepard was wearing her helmet when she was hit by Harbinger yet when she "Awakes" her helmet is gone... Now, if a blast is powerful enough to knock off a sealed armoured helmet; then sorry, but your head is going with it.
