I just noticed... Shep's walking and talking like a half-dead, but the moment he/she starts firing (destroy option), he/she straighten up, suddenly full of energy. This has to mean something.
Another sign that we might be right?
He will gain strenght at control and synthesis too.
Did you notice that Shepard falls near death before the console but, after being lifted up, gets to his/her feet with relative ease when the GC talks to them.

The "secret" ending is either Shepard Lives scene, Stargazer Scene, or nothing. If you import an ME2 save, pick destroy, and had enough EMS (and 4000-4999 needed and "saved" Anderson), you'll get both scenes.Noob451 wrote...

A couple of things i found strange about the kid at the start of the game, The response the kid gives to Shepard in the vent when he tells him to take his hand seems really off. I doubt a scared child would respond to an adult, especially one who is obviously in the military with "you can't help me." this seems more like a planned phrase to put doubt in Shepard's mind possibly making him more susceptible to possible indoctrination.
Another thing Shepard seems to be the only person reacting to him, Anderson doesn't seem to notice the kid and I'm fairly sure, with his background, he would want to help the kid out if he could, and at the end of the mission when the civilians are being evacuated none of the soldiers seem to notice a child just standing there looking lost, or try and help him get in the car which is something people would naturally do seeing a kid struggling to get into a car.
Just a couple of things that sat uneasy with me.
I talked with my mother, she have a degree in psychology. She said this: A scary kid would be afraid with the soldier (shepard) proposal, maybe the kid won't accept, but his voice an face shoud have a trace of fear. Now, to the kid recuse the help with coldness, with a could response, that's weird. Don't make sense at all
Or this might be the case of not-so-great facial animations & voice acting throught the game?

Fun fact - you can't skip the growls heard when you first meet the kid in the destroyed building on earth.
Growls? What growls? Video?
I'm also interested in this, because I know from the books the reapers made a similar noise when they knew Grayson wasn't fully under the effects. But I never heard the growls myself, or maybe I just wasn't listening for them.
Are you sure it wasn't coming from the tons of Reapers in Vancouver at the time?
Woah, wait. The book(s) do mention that the Reapers growl? Or make a noise similar to it?
Yeah they growl, and after just listening to the link provided It could well be whats happening so they people with more insight into the lore might pick up on it, but others just think its just because of the vent shaft.
At any other time I'd just say its most likely the shaft, but that kid is creepy throughout the entire game, all the way to the end. He disappears in the split second and its never mentioned to Anderson and Anderson never asks what he's doing.
Then again, I do love a good conspiracy theory lol, but you really don't have to force this one to make it fit, it actually makes sense of everything that doesn't make sense. And I don't believe after almost a decade of making these games then forget how to make it for the last 10 mins.
It would be interesting to see if someone can pull up the same kid section in the vent from the E3 demo last year, and see if the growling is still there. I would be surprised if it was leaving maybe people to pick up on a year before release.
On my first (well second since I playe dthe demo) I didn't really think anything of the growling. It skipped my mind.
I never read the books, so I don't have a great grasp on the lore, but WOW. Are there any other instances of this growling in the game? It was VERY obvious for me the third time around, and really stands out. Doesn't sound like the vent, you can clearly hear the vent when the kid moves back.
I'd have to play through a second time and listen out for them. I'm pretty sure when I played through this the first time I just put it down to it being a reaper noise distorted by the vent.
But yeah... "You can't help me", seriously in light of everything around the kid through the game and at the end, I'm surprised we aren't questioning it more lol. I can't think of any little kid that would rather run off and be on his own that with a soldier offering to help in the middle of an invasion.
I also think the sequence where Shep gets set on fire with the kid though is a sign that going along with him is the wrong choice, but I'm no more in the know that anyone else :/

There's one other thing about the kid at the start I haven't seen mentioned often. The game starts with the kid playing WITH the Normandy. This is stretching it, but it could - theoretically - be interpreted as foreshadowing of the the kid toying with Shepard and holding his/her fate in his (it's?) hands.
The kid isn't playing with the Normandy it's playing with a SX3 Fighter.

Either that, or the secret "Shepard awakens" ending. Or a completely different thing altogether. I don't know, you don't know, none of us really know for sure.

Possibly, its a nice way of thinking about it if all this comes out to be true. But even if that isn't the case, he's still playing with a model of the Normandy, surely the kid knows then who Commander Shepard is? So why would he turn down help from him and tell him "You can't help me" when he bloody well can lol.

In Sanctuary doesn't one of your teammates say (or maybe it was Miranda) "No one has ever (survived/stopped) an indoctrination attempt before" ?
Maybe it was one of the scientists, MAYBE it was on the Cerberus base.
I don't know, my memory is foggy- I'm playing through my second time, but it'll be awhile before I get to that point.
Does anyone else remember this? Or am I fabricating my own memories?

I think it was Henry Lawson. I won't be doing a second playthrough for a few months, but I'm sure it can be found online.

from what I remember...
1.ME3 character importer curcumstances:
crash and burn
out in a blaze of glory
live to fight again
2. the little boy can be seen running into a building destroyed by reapers soon after, and somehow teleports to the vent where shepard talks to him
3. trees from the dreams seen after you get up from harbinger's beam.
4. twitter post

No major new news I don't think, we're still just brainstorming, but I missed the tweet about an ETA about the rubble scene being removed, what the hell was that about? :/ Why would they be removing the rubble scene? Don't get it.
