I'd say a more telling tweet was a retweet from MikeGamble:

https://twitter.com/#!/GambleMike

It basically points to an article from penny arcade explaining why the current ending is good as it is... If that isn't hope-shattering I don't know what is...

It is a bit worrying, yes >.<

different endings

"OMGHub"
and then at the top you can see "cithub" I assume meaning citadel hub. So Omega hub? Oh god.

Are we sure those files aren't already what we see in the ending?

They are not. The actual ending files have different names to those ones. There are no EndGm* files anywhere. The actual endgame files are End03_*

Ok, that's interesting clarification. So, nowhere are there any actual EndGM files? I'm not that tech savvy, so I wouldn't even begin to know how to look for this myself.

Sadly I think that people is just grasping for straws here. This is the endings we get. And BW is not going to change that. Any DLC coming for ME3 in the future will probably be aimed toward the multiplayer part. And if they are planning releasing any single player DLC you can bet that it wont be a "post ending" DLC. Probably just some alternate outfits, new weapons and stuff like that. Any new missions will just take place before the ending(s). Sad but true. Either way they are not getting my money again. Im done with this game. Not even going to bother with a second playthrough.

Honestly we arn't graping at straws. The evidence is there. Its BLATENLY there. Look through for yourself and tell me you don't see a connection. Plus all the Coy twitter posts..

The guy who has to answer to all those tweets, I kind of feel sorry for him. But not much, because he won't answer anything ;-;

I feel sorry for the guy from Bioware who has read all the 300+ pages in this thread. I'm sure they took notice, and are following all of this. Which means...

Hello there person working for Bioware and reading all this. Perhaps you're not alone, and you're actually a team, wading through these posts. Give us more hints. We desperately need them :D

I dont know if this mean anything, but last person you find in front of you in Mass Effect 3 is the Illusive Man, and for some reason, when Martin Sheen told this phrase in the end of the video ''Mass Effect 3 Voice Cast Reveal''.

The Phrase is the Following: ''Stay Tuned, I've not done yet'' (HahahcoughcoughHaha)
It's kind messed up with my head. Probably he's going back in a next dlc proving the real ending at all, I don't know.

Any suggestions? And sorry for the bad english =/

Think of it this way... are they waiting for this to 'blow over'?

Or did they EXPECT us to react this way, and extrapolate what is the true ending, or even regarding the other threads, like the demand a new ending movement... in order to pull a 'Prestige' on us?

Note: Prestige :

Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts. The first part is called "The Pledge". The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a man. He shows you this object. Perhaps he asks you to inspect it to see if it is indeed real, unaltered, normal. But of course... it probably isn't. The second act is called "The Turn". The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary. Now you're looking for the secret... but you won't find it, because of course you're not really looking. You don't really want to know. You want to be fooled. But you wouldn't clap yet. Because making something disappear isn't enough; you have to bring it back. That's why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call "The Prestige"

No change to the theory. Just that the crappy ending was their idea all along.

That's a flat out lie. We know their original ending was the dark energy one.

So after reading the OP's first edited post (sorry, it will take a LONG time to read through 331 pages >_>) are we probably going to be the butt of a huge "April Fools" trick? Bioware did the Day One DLC release... who's to say there isn't a "Month One DLC closure" release chambered and waiting...

whenever someone says we're grasping at straws and the Emergency Induction Port comes up, this is what I think of the people saying we're grasping at straws and don't back themselves up about it.

"It's actually getting harder to fit in the slot"

Provide evidence in contray to the theory and THEN we can have a nice debate about it.

In reference to the script, there was no change.  All of the scripts in the files in both the demo leak and in the game only contain the Guardian ending.  Sure, the Dark Energy concept was the original one, but it didn't make it into the script at any point; at least to what we are provided in the files.

Well, if its just a hallucination, the dark energy ending could still be coming in a dlc.
But it could also mean, nothing was ever changed after the leak.
It's completly slippery.

Or the leaked content was never intended as the real ending. Just to make us think it was the real ending. To, you know, indoctrinate us, the player base.

If that's what they've done, it succeeded atleast partially :)

Another thing to point out is that if TIM was already there, why bother arguing with shepard? why not just kill shepard and anderson, and then just go up to the catalyst and make the choice himself? he had the opportunity, what was with this obsessive need to convince shepard? To me it strengthens the attempt to indoctrinate shepard argument

This one still bugs me. any thoughts? sorry if its already been discussed, but seems like alot of different discussions are getting burried with the insane pace this thing is going in, wanted make sure this point was made.

This could actually support the idea that Shepard is (at least partially) the catalyst, not the god child.

Even if all of this is true (I don't personally think it is at all) it doesn't make anything any better. It just means Bioware PLANNED to give us the real ending later. Even if it is free (which I doubt) it's still a terrible way to try and wrap up a trilogy like this. I guess people are so eager to believe Bioware's perfect they'll forgive them for anything as soon as they're able to justify it.

It wasn't the ending in the leaked script though. The ending that was in the leaked script was the same ending we got in ME3, minus the Normandy scene and the fact that the Relays are destroyed in all endings. In the script, only the destroy ending resulted in destroyed relays.

Took that from the explanation thread the Bioware mod has linked to. Starts with interesting tweets.
Also, I never really noticed because, somehow, seeing it in the demo before kept me from questioning it, but: They helped injured people in. There are men and women standing right at the entrance of the shuttle, but nobody helps a kid in. Are they really that self-centered? Or is the kid not there in the first place and the only time/s Shepard may have actually seen it alive were on the roof, playing, and maybe in that ventilation shaft?
If so, and if these 'minor' hallucinations already started back then, AND given that the nightmares cost Shepard a lot of sleep and mental stability, this is another strong hint in the direction of the indoctrination theory. In this case, Shepard was already being prepared for the actual indoctrination when they invaded Earth.

I thought the same last night, seemed odd for the context of ME3 as it stands.
