Or was it questioned/debunked by the many aspects of Number-Letter-Number examples we see throughout the game? IE: Liara's 8M8 stuff in her office, etc?

As far as i know:
M= 13th letter in the alphabet - so: 1M1 = 1+13+1= 15
15th March is the final release in asia

1M1 is seen in the last sequence on the citadel

Yes, I also think that the 1M1 theory is a bit of a stretch but the twitter activity is becoming more frequently posted FOR a reason. They have us chasing the carrot on the stick now, the ball's in Bioware's court and I think they're sadistically enjoying this a litt

where was the 1M1 theory stated again?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think someone said 1M1 means March 15 because M is the 13th letter so 1+M+1=1+13+1=15. The M also stands for Mrach, hence March 15th the release date of ME3 in Asia or Japan (the release date in the final region to get it).

I've been on the steam half life forums often enough to know this line of thinking just gets people upset. I've seen countless times that THIS EQUALS 3 SO THAT MEANS HALF LIFE 3 COMES OUT TOMORROW. I'm not saying it's impossible, it's just a REAL stretch compared to the things in this thread that actually have extensive evidence.

no idea....but if there was any one idea in this entire thread that I never thought was relavent, it would be the 1M1 thing...(no offense btw to the person who mentioned it, it just seems more like an art design issue then a "sign" of anything to me)

Alright, I'm 100% with this theory, but the 1M1 thing seems a little far fetched lol.

It being mirrored on the wall is interesting, but whenever people start coming up with dates like that, it never ends well lol.

pretty interesting. Basically it comes down to nothing is what it seems or nothing is how it appears to be. And yes, I liked those endings a lot. actually just talked to my boyfriend about the Sixth Sense when I talked about the ending of ME3 xD

1M1 was stated about 100+ pages back.

1 + M + 1

1 + 13 + 1 = 15

March 15

M = 13th letter of the alphabet

I DO NOT BELIEVE IN THIS THEORY.

M is also the Roman Numeral 1000.

This was someone desperate for an explaination.

Ok, i just thought of some more reasons why the ending is bogus.

1) Mass Effect lore establishes there are two kinds of relays, those that offer multiple short range connections, and those that offer singular point to point connections across great distances to one relay only and back again. Watch this video from about 2 minutes in. The explosion propogates relay to relay, and just before it cuts back to joker some of those distances are massive that its jumping between. Its a soft point but valid i think. There is just no way that signal could propogate through all the relays, and there affect all reapers in all systems.

2) im pretty sure the game said in ME1 the Sol relay was a point to point connection, therefore no way it could propgate beyond the receiving relay,

3) No boss escalation. ME1 Shep and squad were up against a reaper controlled "super agent", whose death weekend sovereign for others to destroy. ME2 close quarters with a "proto reaper". Escalation says in ME3 the final fight should be against a fully formed reaper. and i dont mean outside ship to ship, inside, remember lore points that repears are built and have their ships encased around them, inside harbinger should prolly be a giant avatar based on whatever the "first race, from the first cycle was" Video games always escalate, there was no escalation here.

Anyways just some additional thoughts i had on drive home from work

I think the consensus is that Catalyst is simply a VI. The Vanguard Reaper (Sovereign) usually sends out a signal to initiate the opening of the Citadel Dark Space Relay to bring in the Reaper fleet. However, the Protheans used the Conduit on Ilos after the Reapers returned to Dark Space during their cycle and modified the Keepers so they would ignore the Vanguard's 'lanuch' signal and not activate the Dark Space Relay.

Sovereign eventually discovered what had happened with the Citadel and had to make a personal visit to over-ride the damage the Protheans had caused and open up the Citadel Dark Space Relay.

Because what happened in ME3 is actually on the bottom of the council tower, so if it would have entered the councile chamber where the console is, it would have been on its roof, and as the roof in that room is high and the child is small...

No seriously, this was the first thing I thought when the catalyst introduced himself "doesn't this completely contradict ME1?"

About that optics thingy, if you search on the whole internet there's absolutely nothing about 1m1 being related to optics. The guy that came up with it, should back himself up, until then it means nothing.

Just with the evidence we have so far, Omega seem viable, and the Resuce Mission seem viable.
It has more merit than a post a while back that was a wife of a BioWare employee claiming that the endings are fake and the indoctrination theory is correct.

somebody posted a picture of a multiplayer character pack that gave him batarian and geth as well as a krogan battlemaster  an omega DLC seems likely but a rescue mission one seems down right impossible there's no way of knowing where the normandy is, there are no mass relays, and by the time the crew of the normandy is found the only 2 people that may be alive is liara who could very well have gone insane and EDI who could have been destroyed in the destroy ending or due to her increasing organtic personality could have also gone insane

There's probably nothing to it. It just kinda sticks out since; 1) No organic has ever been in that part of the citidel, so why is there human numbers/letters. and 2) that mirroring that happens gets your attention (though it could just be a bad texture)
