Was the ending a hallucination? - Indoctrination Theory

Those textures were probably made before the release date was even decided on.
It's too far fetched anyway

Now that is a good question.
But I do not see why everyone thought the ending was bad
I thought it was a great ending
The reason being is that I have never really been into drugs
But after sitting there for 2 hours with my mouth open saying...... Well I wasn't saying anything actually
But back to the ending. Shepard wakes up amongst all the rubble
his focus is a bit blurry but when he looks around at all the devestation he sees a single plant
standing proud amongst the rubble
He thinks yes there was a lot lost but at least life survived.
then as his eyes focus better he see all his crew mates standing around the same plant.
with bittersweet smiles on there faces
They look at him and all salute
then the scene goes back to the plant and fades out
Of course this is the ending I saw after a dropped a tab of acid due to the overwhelming depression
I was feeling before

Maker, this thread is moving so fast, people are getting stuck on one subject and other things are getting completely buried.
Yes 1M1 is a huge stretch, I'm not really supporting it as a sustainable theory.
What I was getting at, however, is that since yesterday, response activity from Mass Effect and a couple dev twitters have strangely been picking up in pace as we get closer to the last release date before the game is officially global.
At the point, Bioware is having us chase a carrot on a stick with all these teasing hints. They know we're aware of the NDA that keeps them from talking but they're using this as an opportunity to really get the community stirred up and involved.
Does no one else find this at least a little suspicious?
I am hoping that some of the devs are anxiously wanting to tell us, but cant due to the NDA.

I think this is Shepard invoking Cerberus imagery during the hallucination/indoctrination attempt. Cerberus has always represented indoctrination to Shepard, as has TIM. To see Cerberus imagery (we see it in the Command Console room with Anderson as well -- looks similar to TIMs office), makes sense to me on those grounds.
And suggests that part of the DLC may be a final showdown between Shepard and TIM.

Ok. regarding this and the cerberus connection. How likely is it that you never left the cerberus base? This is a major leap in logic, but... I don't know.Wuyunk wrote...

Somehow this thread has transformed into one about some random tweets of an unknown person about some game
We have gotten a little side-tracked, but i think it's the 1M1 theory creeping up because the 15th is coming up and if it turns out to be true, that aspect of the original 1M1 theory turns out to be true and Bioware is really just stringing us along to make a huge impact in the gaming industry.
Does 1M1 actually mean something that I'm missing, or are we just paying attension to it because of its mirrored image?
no idea....but if there was any one idea in this entire thread that I never thought was relavent, it would be the 1M1 thing...(no offense btw to the person who mentioned it, it just seems more like an art design issue then a "sign" of anything to me)
There's probably nothing to it. It just kinda sticks out since; 1) No organic has ever been in that part of the citidel, so why is there human numbers/letters. and 2) that mirroring that happens gets your attention (though it could just be a bad texture)
It could, but 1M1 is such an easy combination to miss. 2M2, 3M3, 4M4, 5M5 etc, reversed that would all stand out a lot more.
I'm not down with the date thing, but if this is true then we have to remember what Bioware are doing, they would plant these clues to indoctrination but at the same some wouldn't want to make it blatently obvious.
Like you said there's no reason for organic created numbers to be in a part of the Citadel were no organic has ever made it to. And 1M1, while being a sign is such a subtle sign and easy miss, just like I did.
They've been making this game for 2 years. Contrary to some peoples weird opinions, they don't develop the game in the order you play it lol. They didn't put two years into the game and then think "Oh ****! nearly release day" and rush the ending. They would have taken time on the ending making sure everything was perfect, and when you only have 2 instances of numbers/letters opposite eachother in the entire ending, you don't screw it up lol.
Also it's placement is curious to me. They place the 1M1's in a place where you're not paying attention to the walls, you're naturally waiting to see what's just over the hill at the top where the control panel is, that's what you're concentrating on if you are immersed.
So yeah, dates are a no go for me, but I don't believe a developer simple got lazy and copy/pasted the 1M1 by mistake when they are taking part in designing one of this generations most anticipated endings lol.

IMHO, if you listen to the catalyst's voice you can hear Harbinger's voice beneath it. Of course, I've heard other people say that it's femshep's voice, manshep's voice, et cetera. Just my opinion! Also, Bioware is being incredibly coy about this whole affair. If this "indoctrinated" scenario was planned and actually comes to pass, then Bioware will have earned my complete and total awe.
Massive props to all the observant people in this thread, you are the only thing holding my Mass Effect story from total annihilation!

What, we know 100% that they have to abide by some NDA? When did we find that out? :/
Also, I've only just started paying attension to the twitter accounts today, so I wouldn't know at what speed they may have been moving before, but @masseffect is responding to multiple tweets per minute which seems a bit OTT lol.

BUT
Could you help me understand something?
- If Shepard is indoctrinated then why the Prothean IV on Thessia doesn't sense his indoctrination? (It senses Kai Leng instead)
- HOW is that Shapard is able to choose anything if he's almost dead on Earth? What is the "trigger" he pulls in reality to take those decisions?
- WHY the Reapers need Shepard to choose anything in the first place? Do you mean that the final choice never really happens and it is all in Shepard's mind? So, who opens the Citadel arms with the control panel?
- What's the point in gaining allies for this War if we are not able to see the outcome of it? You say that having high scores allows us to choose the "Destroy option" successfully but I had less than 3000 points and I still was able to choose the red one.

What i found was 2 dead Cerberus Soldiers on the Citadel right after you get teleported up by the beam. They´re hanging over the suspended cables in the place.
Could just be random though, but i didnt see it posted here yet.

In regards to the NDA... why be so tight lipped about details about
the ending them? Fans have been pressing them about the endings and they
have been cleverly evasive. Most developers have their employees sign
an NDA to curb leaks prior to launch dates or special plans.

Why does Hackett contact Shepard as if he thinks she's still alive? The Alliance should believe Shep is dead, no? Yet he contacts her in the Citadel as if she's still alive and kicking.
Playing off of that, how does Hackett use that console to contact her? How does he know exactly where she is so that he can send her a message, telling her the Crucible isn't firing?
