I cant even listen to the ending song without getting goose bumps.

It depresses the hell out of me.

Despite the state of the ending, no one can lie and say that the soundtrack isn't fantastic.

Absolutely. At first, when I unboxed the CE and read about the Soundtrack including in the box I was like: "Well, I dont need that. There is no f*ckin METAL on it!". Now I am very happy to have it, since it is sooooooo good. The ending song alone is enough for me to want to own the soundtrack.

This track is one I personally love, because it reminded me of the speech Wrex gave just before charging the reaper on Tuchanka

"From this day forward, the word 'Shepard' will mean HERO!"

I love wrex .

Indeed. its art.

But I still cant listen to that goddamn ending song. It makes me feel like crying.

The ending song hit me very hard, becaise I knew since the relays exploded there was no more united galaxy, no more harmony, just seclusion.

Which begs the question to why is anything alive if the mass relays exploded? i mean, the one in the Arrival DLC took out the entire sistem, so if all mass relays exploded then everything would destroyed, including earth and everyone fighting in the Sol sistem.

You guys do realize that the whole notion of the ending we got being somehow fake and a "real" ending coming at some future date is completely absurd, right?

When has EA ever done anything that wasnt absurd?

Just take a look at the install size of the discs, there is a clear difference between whats on the discs and what is installed, now that may just a pointless remark, however if you wanted...perhaps to let the entire world at the same time enjoy the ending without being spoiled, then it seems perfectly logical to encrypt the ending via whatever means.

Lets just wait until the rest of the releases are done, before killing off the idea.

Rest of the releases? What does that mean? The game is already out. No developer in their right mind would put a fake ending on their game just to release a real one at an undisclosed later date.

I am all in on the indoctrination/hallucination theory. That being said, what are people against it using it to disprove it?

The main thing I've seen people say against it is the little message at the end that pops up saying 'Shepard has become a legend by stopping the Reapers. Continue to build the legend in DLC" or w/e it says, but I dont see how a fourth-wall breaking message about DLC should factor into this at all.

Maybe its all already on the disk, you only have to unlock it? Using either a code or maybe they've got it time stamped. Who knows. Anything is better than what we got.

Agreed and great point about it being unlocked on the disc. That didn't cross my mind until just now.
Still It would ****** me off a little, but as long as the end made up for it... I would be happy.

I thought the same thing since they are waiting on their official statement. When does the game get released everywhere?

It doesn't, not the final end at least, but it does change the result to the final charge to the conduit. If your ems was high enough, Joker was supposed to blast harbinger before he blasts you.

Ugh.

Also, how do I get the Soundtrack from my CE? I want it on my iPod.

If it's on the disc, I'd like to think that us curious PC gamers would have found it already.

Also, unused audio doesn't really prove much, unfortunately. You can find threads on the loads of unused dialogue from ME2.

Still, I like what I'm reading here, so I'm holding out hope.

Now those endings make sense a lot more. Though 90% of them still involves death of Shepard. I wonder what we'll gonna get in the end?

Read second post about the 4 endings:

"The destroy ending does destroy the relays, but its implied that with
all the races on earth, they, together, will restore what they lost and
will attempt to work together. if shepard lives, your LI leading your
squad, will be looking for you. You are beamed back down to earth (its
assumed shepard was somehow blasted into the beam? this is the only
questionable part). It ends with shepard's hand coming out of the rubble
and breathing
. Still a cliffhanger of sorts, but you can assume they
will find him/her obviously."

I just noticed on the back of th N7 CE insert there in image covering the whole thing showing someone with Shep armor on pulling an unclothed hand out of rubble...

It´s supposed to come out in japan/asia on the 15th of march, so it's not released everywhere yet.

Download it via Origin. Go to game folder -> Bonus. There is a folder named "Soundtrack". Thats where I found the MP3s.

The rest of the releases means exactly what it sounds like. North America isn't the only place where the game came out, you know. Europe and Austrailia were released a few days after the NA date, and the Asian release is on the 15th.

One other popular theory to go with this is that BW wants us all to experience the real ending at the same time, which I think would actually be a brilliant idea. But to each his/her own.

In Arrival, the relay blew up and the explosion wiped out the whole system.

In ME3, the explosive energy is shot foward to the next relay, which overloads it.  Chain reaction through the entire network.

It is really beautiful (talk with Anderson and that song were the two things done really right), but I can listen to it too much or I just get sad.

I'm quite happy they didn't compress to Mp3 as well.

Replaying the ending(I had the same thought), when the energy from the Crucible hits the relay, the energy inside changes before blasting off, and you can see the same red/blue/green explosion from the relay before it cuts to the galaxy map, so presumably the explosion would douse the entire star-system in the Crucibles energy, allowing the intended effects to cover everywhere. Just my thoughts on that issue.
