I'm sorry, I was under the impresion this was for evidence and COUNTER evidence. If you don't like the reality of the situation that's fine, but don't project your anger. 

Please write down your evidence again so we can crush it.

Most likely this is the situation, like it or not. And before you say the "Tweets" have merit, I'm fairly certain it's just BW saying to hold on to your games so they can chrage you more for DLC later on down the line. I am fairly certain this is how the entire thing went down, verbaitum. 

The script was leaked months ago, thus forcing BW to change the ending into the one we have now. Because of their commitment to release on time they threw together these nonsensical endings in the hopes that we the players would be stupid enough to fall for their "Well it's all just interpretive" convoluted endings. Whether or not they choose to rectify this with future DLC is invalid, the game should have been shipped in a full package, not a giant troll and speculation bait jar. You can glorify the writing and indoctronation theory all you want, I have yet to see a developer who thinks making your consumers wait for the full project as being a great idea. 

The sad truth is that this is probably just a lot of wishful thinking and trying to escape from the terrible endings we got, and the inevitable end to this (most likely) is that Bioware could really care less. They have your money, that's all that matters. It's not Bioware anymore afterall, EA has turned them into something else entierly.

Just started my second play through. I don't have the means to record but did anyone else notice that the ME main title after you escape earth, the MASS letters get overlaid with ghostly trees? I just noticed it but have no way of taking video of that. Anyone else able to?

So here's a thought adding a bit more support on how the kid doesn't exist.

When you see the kid in the vent at the start of the game, he's facing forward, towards the opening of the duct. Considering the vent is big enough for him to turn around, Shepard only looks away for a brief moment. S/he turns back, the kid's gone.

Fine, he shimmied away - kids are fast. But wouldn't you have heard him scramble away? There was nothing, he literally vanishes.

This is really Ironic. I've not finished the game yet and I'm spending more time during the day on this thread and the twitter feeds than the game.

Except the endings in the script are the same as in game with a few slight differences...

BioWare are apparently masters of meta-games and elaborate ARGs inspired by getting kicked in the nuts multiple times. When I say nuts, I mean your mental and emotional nuts. It's symbolism and philosophically deep. and stuff.

Wish they were half as good at figuring out this ending situation.

There's not much of a point to saving X place or getting Y crewmember if they just die anyway. They're not going to sell many DLC if nobody wants to pick up the game again.

hmmm...The description means that Shepard walks over the dead bodies from Cerberus. But there were no dead bodies from Cerberus on the floor....

My english skills are limited. I'm not sure if this dead corpes text was real or only a concept that has been deleted and replaced with the actual ending?

Originally TIM was going to Saren out on us and be a huge boss fight.  But they didn't like him as a final boss so they scrapped the sequence.

Why would I (or anyone else) pay money for a DLC to retake Omega, when in the end, it will just be cut off from the galaxy like every other system?

Something is weird afoot on Omega though - I mean Aria and Omega are really the only major loose ends (as far as potential storyline explanations go) covered ALOT between ME2 and ME3 and also left dangling in ME3. I was looking at Omega and to me it kinda looked is shaped the same way as the crucible if it were joined with the citadel. Also, Omega is "referrred to as the Terminus Systems dark-twisted counterpart to the Citadel" in the Mass Effect Wiki entry (have no idea where the quote came from). And why did the Illusive Man want it so bad??? I dunno, just seems weird that was never answered and it obviously ties in with ME3 given the release of Invasion around launchtime. But who knows how or if that means anything to a possible end-game scenario.

I don't know if this has been said before, but could Anderson and TIM represent paragon and renegade in the dream. As in Anderson is the closest thing I guess to a role model for shepard, and TIM would certainly be a good model for renegade Shep. This could fit in with the dream as well, as Harbinger twists Shep's mind to see Control (TIM's choice) as paragon and Destroy (Anderson's) as renegade, confusing the already strained Shepard into indoctrination?

Wow I caught up! What a crazy thread. For now, while I have my reservations, there is far more evidence pointing to the ending being Shep's fight against being indoctrinated. There is NO WAY they wrotte the entire game, and then made that ending. There are far too many odd things that go down in those last 5 minutes. Even if there is no DLC, but the ending is confirmed to be indeed Shep's indoctrination, I would like it. If it's literal, I have to agree it's sh*t. Now, let's see that patch/dlc Bioware!
