Was the ending a hallucination? - Indoctrination Theory

1. S/he doesn't have any armour any more that could protect her/him from such an explosion.
2. Any possible atmosphere that was there would not be contained where you were.
Therefore in the "Alive" ending, it is impossible for you to have been on the Citadel and still be alive and so the indoctrination/dream theory seems the most likely and logical explanation.

I keep hoping that, no matter what BioWare intended, if we just continue the ****storm long enough they might give in and give us another ending.
Over 28k $ and over 10000 posts in 5 days for that.
Major ****storm, indeed.

I was on date and it was amazing and when I got to the door. My date maced me, kicked me in the groin, and ran over my foot with her car. Afterwards, she calls me up and asks me when we are going back out. I asked her why she assaulted me, and my date said, "I was being mysterious and I wanted to make our date unforgetable. I was like. Oh, you Bioware me.

They WILL however create lots of bonus DLC material that will cost money, but the continued main story will be free.
Atleast according to common sense.

Is it just me or are there more flavours to how people feel about the endings than there are flavours of a religions.

Hey don't oppress my religion man.... We Pavlovians believe in free snacks and bells for everyone...

in the case that he chooses synergy or control?
After all it is possible that in those cases he lives, but he's indocrinated so he's not self-aware.
In the other case he breaks the control and realizes where he is.
That way it's possible that bioware plans to release a DLC for the rest of the fight where you
actually have to fight the reapers - since shepard is still in London.
Maybe in the case that he's indoctrinated you have to somehow break that - maybe by
talking to your loved ones or w/e.

The day after i was very depressed, could not believe what i just saw.
Then after googling about the endings i found this thread. I just red about 300 pages,so i understand what you people are talking about. After playing, reading about this and playing the last few hours again i have come to the conclusion that this indoctrination thesis is very obvious for me. So even if this bioware ending was the final one,my own canon will be this thesis about the indoctrination. So i want to thank the myth busters in this forum for all piece of evidence they gathered. It made me smile again
Thus far i just sat down a few minutes ago to replay, the last sequence where you have to chose about control/synergie or destruction.
After 431 pages i am not that sure if it was mentioned that this last room is in vacuum,so without his proper gear, Shepard would just die.
And if you just turn around, back to this mysterious plattform where you just came from before that dialogue with the starchild there is again this 1m1 sign. Somebody already posted i picture where you can see how the crucible and the citadell get connected. So this room isn't a room, because as i said its in the vacuum and its the link between crucible and citadell.
Some people said that 1m1 would make no sense on the citadell, but i makes sense on the side built by the alliance forces. So i think it isn't a myth at all.
But the thing with vacuum and no helmet (space gear) is the turning point for my on this thesis.
Because its so god damn unlogical and senseless.
ps: please excuse my bad writing, english isn't my first language.

This makes perfect sense. The glory of this theory is that if in fact it turns out to be true, and shepard is being indoctrinated, there is nothing to prevent the true story from being finished, this is especially true in the case that s/he resists the indoctrination attempt.

Its not
1) Skipper ---> Ash would call Sheppard that only at the end of game (romance). Sheppar is commander for almost whole time. (1st skipper in me3 is during udina death)
As well its not pre me3 when he is grounded. Ash said that she didn't want vist him then.
2) Hang in there ---> It means she gives comfort to sheppard becouse something did happen to him. Also this is very much but reverse when Sheppard visit Ash in hospital when is is unconscious after attack on Mars
I guess sheppard is in hospital and uncounscious after encounter with reaper beam on earth. It all suits 3 endings very well : Destory - they find sheppard under rubble and get him to hospital (he resisted indoctrination), Control/Synthesis - sheppard body is in hospital but his mind is somewhere else - > struggle with indoctrination.

It is called “The Truth”, and will be released in April or May… You will be able to continue your story if you picked any of the endings. Your decision during the sequence will have a big effect on the ending of The Truth. Also, The Truth adds two new sets of enemies, new classes, and multiplayer maps, including “Firebase Hive”, which is a small area of the last remaining Collector Ship included in the DLC, which, by the way, you should definitely bring Javik the Prothean along if you have them.
The following picture shows some of the leaked multiplayer classes and races. One race that isn’t shown is the Prothean Adept and Vanguard. This DLC also, enables the ability for owners of the preorder and From Ashes DLC to find their DLC weapons in reinforcement packs.
All of that content, and this might as well be labelled an expansion.
And it’s Free!
