The devs specifically said they have no intention of turning Mass effect into "Lost".

Hopefully at the end of the day they dont.  But at this point in time id say this thread is very "lost" like.

Anyway, all that stuff about the humming sound?  On Tuchanka when the tomkas stop, you can hear a humming sound there too.  Also near a Reaper.  Will keep an eye out for any more audio oddities on the mission, going through 2nd run atm.

I just got my CE. On the insert that holds the patch and stuff is some artwork.

It's a red gauntleted hand reaching down to an unarmored hand reaching up.

Since I have yet to start the game, I'm assuming this is set in the London ruins...

This may be old news, but I'm just getting up to speed here.

I think that's supposed to be Vancouver from the beginning of the game.  The buildings on the insert don't look like the ones in London.

I disagree, I think the structure in the background of the artwork looks just like the structure around the conduit to the Citadel. It also looks like a Reaper beam just struck, look how the rubble is glowing hot behind the hands.

That looks nothing like the Conduit structure from the end of the game.  The Conduit structure is more rounded on the edges.  Also, look at the insert, the structure you're talking about is on fire.  I think it's supposed to be Vancouver during the initial Reaper invasion.

It COULD be the same one, since the first time we heard about ME2 info, it was DLC-centered. What he said about LotSB was accurate once people played it. Now, we're getting info about ME3... and it's DLC-centered. 

but you know you're still trusting 4chan to be honest/correct. Just because they were accurate before doesn't mean its the same person or they'll be accurate this time around. Lets stick with our optimism that bioware won't leave us hanging the like this

something i just thought of that i haven't seen posted yet

in mass effect 2, if you chose to side with morinth and kill samara, you could make an attempt to mate with morinth. she tries to convince you that you're strong minded enough to survive but if you go through with it, you die.

hearing space boy at the end of mass effect 3 talk about me being strong enough to control the reapers made me think of this.

I have wonderd what bioware was going to do for ME3 dlc and the indoctrinated ending makes sense.  Very elegant

There is no DLC that can happen at all and make any sense or even be worth playing if the end remains the end as is.  Why play any DLC if the outcome remains as is current?  Why replay with a different Shepard if the end remains as is.

There is thus SOME hope that either a DLC to actually provide real endings (plural) OR an unlock to get to the endings (plural) that are already encoded in the software.

We'll see.  If they just start dumping out DLC having to do with missions prior to the current ending then they are nonstarters.

You guys will be very depressed to find out he's trolling you...

a word of advice: if they say they're an employee of any video game company don't trust them. If they're right assume damn lucky guess but NEVER accept what they say as fact or even remotely correct such things can be hazardous to one's mental functions

That "no imaginations" would apply to about 90% of the players, not just those here (an extreme minority).

i think alot of people feel that way. no one is going to want any dlc unless we get the new ending first. if they show up at pax and start talking about multi player maps or new armor, there is gonna be one hell of a **** storm.
