What do you think bioware would do if we all just stopped this second and everyone just stopped talking about ME3? No way would it happen, it's just hypothetical

they'd just keep asking stupid questions on twitter.

"what your favorite multiplayer map?"

Nothing, they would assume we were ok with the endings and leave it as is.

When I did the ending, I knew something was amiss!  I'm so glad I'm not alone with this thought, lol.  Something felt off, especially the conversation with the Catalyst - I mean, TIM's idea of controlling the Reapers being right?  Also, why the hell should Shepard believe anything the godchild actually says?  He readily says he's the leader of the Reapers; of course he's going to try to discourage you from picking the Destroy option.

And, unless my Shepard lived from falling through a planet's atmosphere again, I don't think she'd be breathing any more (also, the rubble around her didn't resemble the Citadel).

http://www.gameinfor...-criticism.aspx
So, is this just another way of saying "screw you?"  Something like "we want you to talk about it, but we're not going to tell you if you're right" kind of thing?  Maybe, maybe not.  I kinda feel like we're not going to get anything. I don't know why, I just do... ):

I have a feeling the DLC will involve the multiplayer more than anything story-wise.

what does this mean?

Think too much is being read into this. Of course the beam would look the same, its the same beam. And for the wheels, the number is wrong, its a common design element, and I think its just a stretch.

Actually, you're incorrect.  They are in fact, NOT the same beam.  The beam on the Citadel is caused by the Crucible.  The conduit beam simply transports you up to the Citadel, apparantly.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but the beam on the Citadel is very clearly connected to the Crucible.  When you're on Earth the Crucible isn't even hooked up to the Citadel yet.  Therefore?  Not the same beam.

I'm sure someone has noticed this... I'm smacking myself for not noticing it... but the "dreams." There's ringing. Strong and loud. If anyone disagrees that's ringing, I'm assuming they've never had high blood pressure or other medical problems that cause ringing in the ears. Because it's not ringing like a bell, it's... that. It's that. That is exactly what doctors call "ringing in your ears."

But I'm sure it's just a coincidence. Or a bug. That's it. EA is cheap and made BW reuse textures, which somehow causes ringing in Shepard's ears. Ringing in the ears is totally a symptom of thinking about things you've lost. Last week I lost my keys and I kept picking up the phone because I heard so much ringing. There's lots of rational explanations for that sound in the dreams that's unrelated to us getting a codex that tells us indoctrination victims hear ringing in their ears. No reason we got that codex either. It's just flavor.

why, what do you see?

Tell me that doesn't look like someone helping SHEPARD out of the rubble, or maybe, maybe that's VEGA in the N7 armor...

Depending on your choice, he does join the program.

Has been brought up before and most of us took it as a symbol of Shepard's saving humanity. I don't think we should be reading into it so much.

I mentioned this a while back.  Flip the picture on it's right side so the rubble is on the bottom.  The structures sticking into the sky in the background look just like the ones that surround the beam in London.  We know that Shepard ends up in rubble at the end, and the arm pulling him up appears to be Shepard's as well since it appears to be his N7 armour.  I believe the picture is a metaphor for Shepard pulling himself up and back into the fight.

I didn't get the impression that the beams were the same either.  The transport beam was supposed to be something that got you to the Citadel.  Also, if they were the same beam, wouldn't have Shepard been automatically transported to where the godchild was, instead of that hallway with the bodies?

Oh no!  Sorry, I was being unclear.  I agree that they look very much alike.  Someone was arguing that, "Of course they look alike, they're the same beam."  But they aren't!  So for me, it makes sense that Shepards mind is using the image to shape what's going on in her head.  Sorry for being confusing. :)

This is my theory about what happens (apologies if someone has stated this before. If you believe the indoctrination theory. What you see in the end is Shepard breathing or dead. Either way his story ends here as the protagonist. He wont get up anytime soon.

What then happens is me4. A new protagonist starts off going into the citadel and finishing the reapers off. Celebrations ensue where you're shepard is a crippled living legend/statue. However you're new protagonist realises that something deeper stirs in space hence a new trilogy begins using another protagonist.

Bioware gets a new trilogy, an artistic ending where Shepard isn't a failure as he managed to unite the galaxy but being only "human" could not do everything. He laid the ground work through his decisions. However bioware can continue the universe with a new protagonist and a new squad.

Either way bioware stated Shepard story ends here.

My thoughts exactly. They want to do a ME4, (Though I heard that might be a MMO) and they are going to need a new protagonist. And who could fill shepards place better than, 'The one who kills the reapers.'

Whether the new protagonist is introduced in ME4 or a DLC is another question.

Would be a smart move on their part.

I agree.
It allows them to keep the universe they built and tie up all the decisions made in the previous games as the endpoint is the destruction of the reapers. If they were to start a game set after the current ending, are you going to make the assumption that people chose to destroy the reapers?

Using a new protagonist will allow them to get around this hurdle and start from a relatively equal endpoint.
