Is it bad I just imagined fem shep kicking the star child in the head while yelling "Little blue babies!"

I put them together for you all!
Well done OP that got them!

what does this mean?

Think too much is being read into this. Of course the beam would look the same, its the same beam. And for the wheels, the number is wrong, its a common design element, and I think its just a stretch.

Actually, you're incorrect.  They are in fact, NOT the same beam.  The beam on the Citadel is caused by the Crucible.  The conduit beam simply transports you up to the Citadel, apparantly.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but the beam on the Citadel is very clearly connected to the Crucible.  When you're on Earth the Crucible isn't even hooked up to the Citadel yet.  Therefore?  Not the same beam.

It's still interesting how very similar they are.

OH WOW, that is very interesting. Perhaps Shepard has just been wandering around near the Citadel beam after beaing hit. The bodies around the beam you see are the bodies seen "on the Citadel". That Mako is that shot there "on the Citadel". And of course the Crucible beam is really the beam going to the Citadel. So maybe the Synthesis ending isn't really bad, as Shepard is really throwing himself into the Citadel beam???

If this theory is true and BioWare planned it all along... then wow, they outdid Assassin's Creed's minor detailing.

And Shep is just shooting at a random container in the destroy ending and grabbing boobies in the control ending, when he lets go its because he got smacked, but Shepard won't give up that easily :wizard:

Makes sense.  Those two things he grabs are about chest height and he sure looks like somebody's tasering him.

Yeah, after all that ass pain for that stupid kid, i think shep will pass on lil bastards. And here we have great advantage in dating a quarian - shep doesnt even needs a condom.

I was just thinking that this makes the amount of work you have to do the figure out Assassin's Creed look small time.

I didn't know such a thing existed. (Although if these endings remain the same it just might not)

If it is true, I'll gladly call them the gods of storytelling.  I find this theory so damn interesting and deep.

Even if you were dating Liara as MaleShep you wouldnt need a condom, because Asari reproduction doesnt work that way.

Also, interspecies reproduction is in no way relevant to this thread, although it is intriguing I suppose ;)

Already been discussed.  To paraphrase the Turian councilor, Ah yes Casey Hudson's response to the ending controversy, we have dismissed that claim.

I have been reading this thread since around page 30. I had just beat ME3 and was thinking about the endings. Not being able to accept them as easily as I thought I would, I started thinking about them in a different way.

I thought up a theory about it being a dream after he got hit by Harbinger and that each choice represented something different. I thought destroy would be Shepard obviously wanting to take out the Reapers like he always has and control would be him slipping at the finish line and either failing or doing it for power. The middle one was a little harder to think up something. I thought maybe it could represent Shepard's ability to compromise and look for more passive or peaceful solutions. Instead of destroying the Reapers, he is willing to change everyone so there would be no more conflict.

Then I saw this thread and adding the possibility of Indoctrination makes the theory better. It ties in parts of the game like the dreams and the kid, which makes it seam more real. The only thing that really works against it for me is that only one of the choices (Destroy) would be the right one. If it is true, I think all of the choices would have to do something besides living and continuing or being Indoctrinated. I will have to think about it some more.

I read their comments on a different site.  Seems like they want people to talk about, but then they don't want to give us a straight answer if we're right or not.

Dunno if this has been posted, just thought I'd mention something Javik just said to me.

"Subjugating the Reapers will not bring victory, only their extinction will."

I could never get around to confirming when "wake up" happens with the god child. I'd have to play through the final mission 4 times to make sure its not just a paragon/renegade player difference, since apparently everything is calculated from the point at which you head to cerberus HQ.

Well, AC is sort of a sci-fi game, so maybe they took some inspiration from it.

Edit: Or should I say series. ;)
