In a way I hate bioware right now...
Either they screwed my favorite game ever, making the entire series sour in my mind.

Or they are pulling off one of the biggest deceptions ever.

In any case, the thought of playing any of the ME games makes my head hurt...
It could all be resolved by them admitting the endings were a deceptions. Hope they reveal something after Japans release. I really want to continue to enjoy mass effect again.

Garrus is a sexy beast. I miss him.

someone else dive into that file and confirm this if they can. Not saying the poster edited it that way but I like confirmations.

Dunno if this has been posted, just thought I'd mention something Javik just said to me.

"Subjugating the Reapers will not bring victory, only their extinction will."

That's Javik for you.  It's probably true, but remember he hates AI.  He also tells you to throw Legion out the airlock.

And he may be right about that too.  Because as I recall, Legion ends up uploading Reaper code into all the Geth.  Hell, even as I was letting it happen in the game I was going, "Oh, that can't turn out well.".

Yeah it's funny how that works.  Legion wants to upload Reaper tech into geth and you just end up letting it happen thinking that it could turn out really bad.  The real reason we let it happen? It's Legion....

I don't know anything about AC, but the ME team has always done just ridiculous levels of detail.  Remember that Prothean artifact on Eletania that gives Shepard a vision of Protheans observing early humans?  Whether you activated that thing and saw the vision is kept through ME2 and ME3 imports, allowing you a bit of dialogue with Javik about it.  DA's imported saves don't bother keeping the flags of world-altering decisions and ME saves whether you messed with an orb 2 games ago to give you an extra couple lines of dialogue.

We're not "reaching" like opponents of the theory claim.  They clearly haven't been paying attention, because this is exactly the sort of attention to detail that makes ME's writing what it is.  Back when people talked about the Klendagon description during ME1, I'm sure they got this same garbage.  I know I did months back when I overanalyzed the star behind TIM in ME2 after a dev interview said it was a clue to his location.  I said I don't know where he is, but that's a supergiant behind him, an extremely rare type of star.  Oh, look at that, is that a supergiant behind TIM's base?  Why, I do believe it is.  People will throw garbage at this no matter how much evidence you put forth because the people screaming "denial" are the ones with the closed minds.  And what's really sad is that when they DO release the real finish, those people will dislocate their shoulders patting themselves on the back as they assure themselves that BW just threw that ending together, no matter how complex it is and how fast they put it out, because of our theorizing.

...  Sometimes I get why Reapers hate organics so much.

Most notable details with Assassin's Creed is the end of the very first game. Activate your eagle vision and EVERYTHING around you is covered in symbols and codes. Players spent a long time going through all of them to piece together what Assasin's Creed was about: 2012 Doomsday.

But back on topic, I didn't have the console needed to play ME1, but wow... In ME3, there were tons of minor details, like Blue Rose of Illium or how the Asari in Huerta knew and killed Joker's sister.

That Asari killed Joker's sister?!  Screw War Assets, I just might let her have that gun anyway....

If you listen to ALL of her story, she mentions "Hillary". Joker's sister is Hillary. Hillary's leg was broken and the Asari and her were hiding when Hillary was sobbing and the husks were nearby. The asari had to shoot Hillary to save herself.

That red dot... It's exactly like the Reaper when it spoke to Shepard back on Rannoch.

I find it less interesting that the kid has a red dot on him, and more interesting that the object name has 'Harbinger' in it.
Harbinger being the oldest and most powerful reaper.

He's aged well it seems.

Quick question -

Is the breath,London, ruble scene what's cause pause for most people to accept this indoc theory (it is a really great theory)?

To me it did.  It just doesn't add up.  The Citadel supposedly explodes after sending out the wave of light.
The rubble that's surrounding Shepard doesn't look Citadel-like; it looks like the area where you were hit.  Either Shepard survived falling through an atmosphere again, or he/she never actually got to the Citadel.

Also, the scene with the Normandy going through a relay and crash landing didn't make much sense to me, especially when Garrus happened to walk out (he was with me when Harby's laser hit).

I forgot to add the whole relay's exploding. I mean if they showed it being bathed it [insert color] light then going to the Galaxy map, it would be one thing, but you saw the relay's explode with chunks and bits shooting into space. After Arrivial I can't see how solar systems would remain.

Not only that, but notice the "GRD_MDL" after it. That translates to "Ground Model". Harbinger, the oldest of all the Reapers... his ground model is a human child. Could it mean that his form was a shell of who he was?

Does anyone know where this panel appears on the Citadel?:

I found this shot on http://w11.zetaboard...opic/7688087/1/

Seems interesting at least, if you're looking for parallels between the final citadel scenes and earlier scenes in ME.

A quick question, if I may, for a theory I'm mulling over: Do you get the ending with Joker and Edi emerging from the crashed Normandy with every ending you choose? I chose synergy myself, so saw it. But what about the other options?

You see it for all the options.

The only difference is in the synergy option joker and the rest of the crew are synthetic, where as they are normal in the other 2.

As well, (What most of the theory is based on.) if certain requirements are met, you get a cut scene after the normandy crashes where presumably shepard is gasping for air, in some london rumble. Which makes no sense since if it is shepard, how did he get back down to london.

I find it fishy that the file's called BioD_End002_500Choice.pcc (BIOG_HMM_ARM_HARBINGER_GRD_MDL) since it's the normal kid model and not the blue one from the ending.

I am gonna call BS on that then, because I am staring at the file, models, textures and overlays right now and the little boy does not have the harbinger tag on him or any other part under that file.

Can you screen shot it for us?

Interesting idea, but I can't say that my playthrough supported this.

Garrus and Ashley were on my 'final run' team, and Ashley stepped out of the Normandy at the end, even though I hardly talked to her throughout the game but had chatted with Garrus on a regualr basis.

I think there's something a bit more random going on here.
