@JessicaMerizan Heres a good question. If you were one of us and didnt know of any future plans, would you be ok with the ending as it is?
@iammattbagley I had to process it for awhile w/ no one to discussAs a fan, I'll always want more than I'm given, but yes I accepted it.

Still doesn't mean anything. She'd be one of many fans who liked the ending. Those exist.
Too bad we're not one of them. Our theory still holds true, let this not shake our resolve. HOLD THE LINE.

Quick question for all you peeps, if Shepard was indoctrinated then why didn't the prothean VI recognize it when he accessed it on Thessia? Only when KL showed up did the VI say something was up?
What about Javik's ability to sense... wouldnt he have noticed it or at least had suspicions?
just ideas didnt read whole thread to see if someone brought this up?.... also maybe this was the exact reaction BW wanted... everyone making their own assumptions???? Right?
I don't understand why this is such a persistent question. Simply put, Shepard wasn't indoctrinated during those scenes. In fact, Shepard isn't indoctrinated during the final battle, either. The entire ending sequence, rather, is a demonstration of Shepard's fight against Harbinger trying to indoctrinate him, shows the mental process of indoctrination itself. The choice Shepard ultimately makes is what determines whether Harbinger's attack succeeds, or not. So if Shepard chooses correctly, he overcomes Harbinger's attempt to indoctrinate him, he beats Harbinger, and he's NEVER indoctrinated. If not, Harbinger wins and THEN Shepard is indoctrinated.
Wrong - he IS undergoing indoctrination throughout the entire series - the final scene is him fighting the final effects of indoctrination, not the initial effects. Shep's dreams confirm this part of the theory.

Every civilization's center place? The citadel
Mass relay to bring in the reapers? The citadel
The catalyst for the weapon to save the galaxy? The citadel
Entity that controls the reapers? The citadel
Seriously if some new species just destroyed the citadel on sight, there would be no reapers and no threat.

(n.) A vessel or melting pot, composed of some very refractory substance, as clay, graphite, platinum, and used for melting and calcining substances which require a strong degree of heat, as metals, ores, etc.
(n.) A test of the most decisive kind; a severe trial; as, the crucible of affliction.
(n.) A hollow place at the bottom of a furnace, to receive the melted metal.

Only if you buy into this twitter nonsense. I'm amazed that so many people do. Does anyone honestly think we're going to get anything close to a confirmation or denial from twitter? If "no, we're not doing anything more about the ending" didn't happen in the first 5 minutes, neither one is happening.
Besides, this is BW's community relations team. They can't exactly come out and say "yeah the ending was trash" even if they did think so. It's their job to defend what the company has published.

Just a friendly reminder that Jessica is not a dev, and is basically a glorified community mod. If you don't hear something concrete from Casey or someone who actually worked on the game, don't give up hope. You have hope, more than you think...

In response to the whole JessicaMerizan Twitter posts.... You're not going to get anything out of her.
She's not allowed to let information leak and has probably gotten in trouble for even giving us subtle hints. I'm sure she's also a little burnt out because of all the fans asking questions pertaining to the same thing.
We won't know if this is true until after the Japan release (most likely even longer).
Hold the line.

Maybe the Grandfather/Child is actually there to reassure us there is more Of Shepards story to tell, not just buy some post end DLC. Though it doesn't change how incredibly naff it is.

Interesting.
I've long been convinced that TIM is, at heart, a good man. A good, poor, misguided fool of a man. I think he would be just as capable a savior of the galaxy, if he had the hope and confidence in humanity and other races as Sheperd. But it is fear and lack of hope that drives him to do questionable things - for, at first, good reasons. And later, fear that drives him to do terrible things for questionable reasons. Shep himself states - "at one point, he was for fighting the reapers, whatever it took. Then he became about humanity above all, something very different."
I think TIM realizes the forces he plays with are far beyond that of just about anyone else, and how easily misguided he may become - he knew, in the end, that Sheperd was the galaxy's and humanity's last, best hope. As such, he wants some sign - some hope - that he hasn't fallen too far, lept off the cliff from someone who got his hands dirty saving the galaxy to someone who destroyed the galaxy fearing its end. I think he simply seeks validation from the one man/woman he thinks could possibly understand the scope and scale.
