I agree.  When I got the secret ending with Shepard being alive, and he took the half breath, I did a quick breath in too.  Then it went to credits and I went from   to  then to .  LOL

But the Catalyst distinctly says "I am the Catalyst." Singular. It's something to ponder.

As I was playing the game, I was ready for Shepard to die. I wanted to clear everything up before that last mission, and I did. The only thing that I didn't get was the ending, like everyone else. I'm actually starting to buy into the hallucination theory, only because of the evidence, plot holes, and horrifically bad ending. This could be giving Bioware room for Mass Effect 4, or maybe some $10-$30 DLC that they did promise us. But then again, they promised us "an ending that would be influenced by every choice you made in the past two games."

That means in english that the pipes at the end were from the Citadel and not from earth. Yeah, I noticed it that someone has posted this several times and hundreds of pages before, but it could be real!

Maybe Shepard surived the explosion on the citadel...

I personally think that is very silly but hey, everything is possible. We have not enough facts and informations :/

But...I think that we will get the answer very soon

Sorry but to me it looks more like a pile of concrete and these "pipes" he is refering to are the steel rods you put into concrete as reinforcement. (German word Armierung bei Stahl-Beton )

It's Harbinger trying to distract you from the fact SHEPARD is the Catalyst.

The ghost kid is trying to trick Shepherd. Thats why the reapers took the form of a child that Shepherd felt a lot of guilt over so it would make it harder for him to destroy them.

Everything in the OP makes so much sense it would be a shame not to be true. After I read it a few days ago and went through the ending again, although I can't recall all the arguments for this theory, the one which sealed the deal for me was seeing the two squaddies I picked for the final push exiting the Normandy after Joker in the end. No way that happened.

Why destroy something you can control? This theory is the most sensible thing I've heard anyone come up with that isn't explicitly pointed out to the audience.

No they did want to kill them.  In ME2 the reapers were harvesting people by liquifying them down to their DNA and then pumping them into a new reaper.  Thats how the reapers made more of themselves, by harvesting people.  And any extra people left over were turned into husks.  The reapers need organics to survive because for whatever reason they can't make more of themselves alone, they need to use organic DNA.

I do like the theory that Shepard is the Catalyst. It would mean tho, that Shep would truely be on the Citadel, not still in London. It undermines the hallucination theory, but does present a new, awesome alternative.

And I do agree, maybe developers should start hiring fans as writiers. We know what we want!

Fans as writers... that could work, or it could lead to the destruction of life as we know it.  Some days I'm not quite sure.   Another question, why is it that the image only shows up for me on its OP and when I quote it?

Bingo. There's a reason they don't kill certain people.

Saren was a Spectre. Benezia was an important Matriarch. TIM is the leader of an infamous organization. Shepard is... well, Shepard.

They know who to keep alive.

Haha, I think if they took our critism or held a confrence or something, it would work. And im not sure, maybe they have smart boards that only show the link if the image is too big, or quoted.
