Hi all,
I've been trying to keep up with the rampant pace of this thread for the past few days, and I figured I'd contribute something I noticed when poking around in one of the PCC files earlier.

Whether this has been noticed before or not, it may not be damning evidence one way or another, but it at least provides something more to discuss. Which, let's face it, is all we can really do until whatever the embargo date Bioware has put up on any news has passed.
(Edit: removed HTML code that didn't seem to work. Feel free to link directly if you feel inclined!)
So, there were trees there in an earlier version?
Can anyone confirm that?

I didn't follow you much until you brought up your last point. James Vega was an odd addition to the team at the beginning of the game. It would be acceptable if they planned to bring up a new protagonist, and it would make sense that James would be it.
I disagree. Because Vega already has an established gender and appearance, both of which are almost universally options for PCs.

Also, if you're playing a female Shepherd it's a female's gasp at the end.

If shepard was inside the citadel he woul die. That is a fact. Because 1. No air in space. Even if the spaceboy meeting was inside, the explotions would either kill shep or create a hole in the citadel. 2. If the citadel fell to earth. The impact would certainly kill shep. Because..come on! 3. Spaceboy says shep will die if destroy. Because of implants. soooooo...whos lying on the ground in london? IF it is shepard...indoc-theory is right. BUT why dont we see his face? That is one major question.....makes me wonder..could it be James Vega? Maybe bioware wants to continue the series around another protagonist?

And it also means that what we got wasn't a complete game. If there's a DLC that is supposed to be the real ending than we've been duped into paying for the ending.
Half-Life 2 was a complete game. It left many questions unanswered and in the Episodes they carried on from where HL 2 left off. But if the Episodes were never made, we'd know what happened until the G-Man considered your job done. The story doesn't take such a leap at the end that we start hoping for an "it was all a dream ending".
