i think it was some sort of illusion at the end, i mean as you get to the beam the radio comms say somehting about noone making it so how the hell do you make it without anyone noticing plus how the hell did anderson get there 1st withough being seen. Also where did the Illusive man come from there was no radio chatter about him being there at all. What else is wierd is where you end up at the citadel and the fact there happens to be that elevator right where your shep passes out and the catalyst being in the very form of the boy you met at the beginning of the game and throughout in your dreams. There is no logical explanation to the ending other than it being an illusion/dream whilst your character is unconcious, and its there you interact with the catalyst to make your choice. I think the catalyst can only communicate to your subconcious and it makes the decision you choose in your dream. otherwise how else did shep get back down to earth among all that rubble, the citadel is in earths orbit.

Theres nothing logical about the endings atm and the only option atm that would make them the tiniest bit logical is the illusion theory.

I really want this theory to be true, but I found a fatal flaw. When we meet the Prothean VI on Thessia he says the reapers are tools of something else, that they work for a higher being or something. And when we destroy the reaper on Rannoch he says the reapers have a purpose more than you no, something like that. If the godchild was a dream it still seems the reapers work for someone else and unless shepherd can dream the future then why did godchild thing appear?? I no im not directly quoting the reaper or the prothean VI but it is the jist of what they say.
PLEASE! Prove me wrong! I want this theory to be true so badly!  Posted Image

Why would this constitute any sort of "fatal flaw"?  How would the Reapers using indoctrination attack on Shepard negate their origins?  Heck, nothing has yet been stated what origins the Reapers actually do have!  The only thing even said of it comes from Sovereign, when Shepard asked who made the Reapers and Sovereign replies, arrogantly, "We have always been."  Which is bull but..shrug.

The answer to "where did the Reapers come from" has never been provided us.  Nor does the question make their ability to indoctrinate Shepard any different.

The ending was fantastic just the way it was.

Ahh, minority status is surprisingly cozy.

So you aren't even curious as to why the ending results in the destruction of the galaxy? Or does it? Or does why do your teammates walk out of a crashed Normandy after fighting by your side on earth? Or how the Quarians, Turians, Krogans, Solarians, Geth, and Asari forces will ever get home?

How are you peaceful when so much is left unknown! AHHHH.

Damning evidence one way or the other to be sure.

Is this legitimate though? I'm going to find a UE reader thing today so I can confirm this and the TIM "pillar" ending being the "BADENDING".

Making sure we dont spread photoshopped stuff around.

EDITEDIT: Ah okay nevermind. :3 Fake

The one with the control pillar being labeled "bad" is real, however.

I totally thought they just locked my thread without even a post explaining why at first, and I was very disappoint.

Interesting, really to demand back money for a digital copy of game? If such endings leave simply to play, without "the necessary" multiplayer, it is possible also different ways.
I am disappointed and I lose faith that something else will be.

Alright, so, I'm officially done posting anywhere else on BSN except this thread, and after we get a solid answer one way or another on whether this is fact. I'm done with this place.

That said, I do not support those silly draft pages as absolute proof there won't be an add on. No where does Mac explicity write "these are the endings."

Nooo it isn't over. If you noticed Chris Priestly's post:
"I have shut off posting to this ENTIRE forum so people see this response.

The rules here WILL be obeyed. We do not allow swearing or the swearing or abuse of staff or moderators here. Anyone seen doing this will be banned from this site.

The app that has caused this controversy IS NOT FROM BIOWARE. Stop yelling at us for making and charging you for an app. We did not make this it was done by Geoff Keighley. When I reopen this forum you are welcome to discuss the content in teh app in a rational manner.

I cannot comment on it as I have not downloaded or seen the app yet.

This forum will reopn soon once everyone has seen this."

You should be able to understand that the app is not officially developed by BioWare. So some informations about the game could be incorrect.

WE STILL HOLD THE LINE!

Ditto. I was messaging back and fourth with other posters crying. Seems like it had to do with the app.

I dont see how they killed the idea at all.

One of the pages shown in the app states the end is like the Matrix.

In the Matrix, red pill = break free of the Matrix

In indoctrination theory, red ending = break free of indoctrination

Can't see where BW "totally killed" that idea.

No one said Shepard wasn't indoctrinated and no one said the endings weren't a hallucination. The game itself hints everything beyond Harby-blasted-Shepard-away is a dream/hallucination/fight for will power.

Don't see anything destroying that theory. Seriously.

Even if BioWare kills the idea, we can still keep discussing. That's called fanfiction, you know.

Exactly.
C'mon guys, BW is playing a game. We're here and we play the game, regardless if we know the rules or not. That gives them an advantage but besides that, the game is pretty much even. No one died today :wizard:

lol im surprised youre using that as evidence of anything, almost none of the pictures look a like and if you think the conduits are similar, there are thousands of things similar to it, its a common design used in numerous stories, games, etc. Whoever made that is just looking for a reason to hate Bioware of ME
