In "Final Hours" they stated that retarded kid was planned all along and there will be no post-end dlc. So yeah, drop it guys, ME3 is dead.

No post end DLC.

If we haven't had the ending itself yet, there statement isn't a lie.

Also Final Hours is not created by BioWare, sure, they may have had a hand in what can and can't go in - but its more like one of those unofficial fan put together videos you used to be able to buy for movies.

BioWare confirmed that that app was NOT by them and doesn't have all the actual facts.

Indeed.
It simply has some of the facts happening in final production of ME3.

It doens't has the facts of post-production of ME3, aka DLC-era.
So BW easily can create a DLC that cleans up the mess if they want - and no one, not even the "insider" is going to spoil that. Besides that, even that guy had to sign a NDA. Who says a NDA covers everything up or does not allow to release SOME infos but not ALL infos?

:police:

I still can't see why people are mad or losing hope. Current stage is: BW kinda supports our theory of dream/indoctrination ... which is a victory to me.

People think indoctrination theory died because according to the final hours Bioware removed gameplay element that would have made it obvious to everyone right off the bat....

It rather confirmed there is indoctrination going on. They just didn't want it to be obvious for whatever reason.

I might have missed a few pages but has anyone taken into consideration that The Final Hours was not released by Bioware?

Yes, obviously the author got detailed input but he would still only know as much as Bioware shared with him. I'd be hesitant to point to that app as being 'proof' one way or the other.

[edit: hit submit just to find out the last 3 people pointed out the same fact. kudos :) ]

Denile is a powerful tool. It may not be an official Bioware product, but Bioware did say in it that they anything else Mass Effect will be before or during the game. Really I think its time to admit that there was no new ending DLC planned.

Actually... not quite. Nothing said in the app was definite. And they wouldnt tell some kind of gaming journalist whatever "BTW were planning ending DLC" so that they can say it right after the games release. They told him that further content for the game is "most likely going to be placed before the ending of the game" or something along the line, basically stating nothing at all. Its not more relevant than the twitter posts or anything.

Well the app also has notes from the developers on there that pretty much spell out the ending as it is and that its left open for speculation and its kind of like the first matrix movie.

Even if they didnt have any originally planned, now that the entire fanbase has rebelled against the current endings, I dont see them not changing them.

Exactly.

There's enough evidence left Shepard is fighting indoctrination: blurred vision, the shot s/he fired at Anderson while TIM was claiming to have control, the (lame) attempt of spacechild to convince Shepard TIM & Saren were right with "Control" or "Merge" ...

That stuff just supports the theory Shepard got indoctrinated - at least partially - and s/he's fighting in his/her mind for control. TIM represents the indoctrinated part (he's even moving freely, hinting he's stronger) while Anderson is representing Shepard's free will. And check this out - Anderson is paralyzed for most time in the scene PLUS gets shot by Shepard him/herself - who's under influence of TIM (indoctrination).

Seriously, if you can't see this, you must be blind. There's nothing else needed to prove Shepard's not him/herself anymore.

Now we just need another confirmation: Shepard never made in on board of the Citadel/Crucible. If that's true, the endings never happened.

Someone probably already added it but:
Joker makes a Matrix reference after the GETH mission with Legion. Still being plugged in.
Only the Earth relay is seen destroyed. Other relays make multiple "shots." Possibly only the earth relay was destroyed as it was the focal point of the crucible.

Guys, are you still seriously sticking to this whole indoctrination thing? It was just bad writing...the "Last Hours" documentary clearly confirms it. They show pictures of Mac Walters' ending development notes and nowhere does any of it mention indoctrination or any other subversive plot lines: the endings we got were the literal endings were were always supposed to get.

I would *not* say, however, that ME3 is "dead" just because they planned these endings from the beginning (which was our original assumption before people started coming up with conspiracy theories in a desperate attempt to hold on to hope).

I'll say it again: it was just bad writing. It was a poorly-constructed, plothole-filled, badly-executed, nonsensical, bad ending to a good game. That's it. Feel free to download the Final Hours app if you don't believe me.

Time to let it go, refocus, and continue lobbying Bioware for alternate ending DLC.

Also, inb4 desperate attempts to make the indoctrination theory "work" in light of the documentary.

Well that certainly is possible, but its time to put aside these rumors of ending DLC coming out soon and such.

I haven't seen it either.... I also want to put my foot in and say after finishing the game for the first time last night that I totally want to believe in this theory.

Good point except for the mass relays. It's stated they'll all be destroyed. Also each relay has the same explosion as the first one.
