Two dots on top, one on the bottom. So not the same as in the Control and Synthesis endings.

Yeah. And
"Jack Harper escaped with his life and became the Illusive Man, but that close contact with a Reaper artifact clearly affected him, leaving his eyes forever changed, usually an early sign of indoctrination."
Why anyone need more proof than that? O_o

If looked at the clip over and over and there is no evidence that he's on Earth.  It apparently appears only during the destroy ending (the only ending that does not consume him), where the citadel is **partially** destroyed.  Clip could just as easily be Shep in the rubble of Citadel.  Please stop grasping at straws.

Shepard gained TIM's eyes in control/synthesis convinced me that these are the renegade endings. Hackett and Anderson tell Shepard over and over again that the ONLY way to win is destroy.

it's great to believe in the theory, but why bother? They have all but confirmed the endings were intended to be that way.

I wish, oh God do i wish it were not so, but all signs point to "game over man. game over."

It's not like there's no hope, just ask for a better ending DLC. Stop wasting time on something that's not there and fight for better endings.

This.  Focus your efforts on lobbying for a BETTER ENDING.

Yall got it covered, thoes donations are amazing.

Dream Trees are there before Shepard is hit by Harbingers Beam.

Your 'Seven Words' also turned out to be eight words.

Evidence that it's cement? It can just as easily be "insert generic citadel stone rubble here"

Thank you for pointing this out - the trees ARE there when you run down. Odd placement for trees, but still.

What really irks me about Jules Verne and similar people is that they constantly tell us to go lobby for DLC endings.

I mean, I have. I've given some money, I joined the Facebook group. I'm completely in support of all that. AND I think the Indoctrination theory is correct. It's not an either/or scenario, so why do they keep making it out to be one?

Also, if Bioware released a statement saying "We will not release DLC/patches/anything to change the endings. What you saw is what you get." Even if we got that, I would hold true to the Indoctrination theory. Because it still works, and it works better than the endings as they are taken literally.

So I guess I just really don't understand why people are mad at us for thinking this theory is correct. It can still apply, minus the 'planning to release true endings' bit, even if Bioware refuses to add more endings. And us thinking it's true doesn't mean we don't still support campaigns asking Bioware for new endings. What is the problem here?

I don't have pics but do the run down yourself in the game and you'll see the trees, to your right. I know that when you wake up they are to your left, but food for thought.

I'm thinking they're mad because then they can't say they made a difference. Then again, if this does turn out to be the case, I'm sure they'll say that BioWare got the idea from us, they never had it planned from the start.

manshep's and femshep's voices can be heard in the background when the catalyst speaks YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN THAT !!! also listen to this question this can be a clue to the player asking to consider not making it to the end. it is admittedly grasping at emergency induction ports but fun to speculate about.

Sorry, no offense intended.  I went paragon, and I still shot Udina, punched the Quarian Admiral, and ripped Kai Leng.

I can only present the "facts:" On the run down, iirc, you see trees to your right.
When you wake up, you see trees to your left, behind you.

I don't know what to make of this.

Hey, guys. I was watching a video about the confrontation between TIM, Anderson, and Shepard and noticed that there was lighting. While I know that we agreed that the area is a lot like the Shadow Broker's base, I'm just wondering if there could be another explanation for the random lighting strikes in the background?

That could be it. And I think you're totally right about them saying Bioware never planned it. And even if they admit Bioware planned it, then they'll just say it was a stupid plan and made a bunch of people angry and should've been handled better and so on. There's no winning with people who insist on being angry about something.
