While I'm glad a couple of my twitter questions broght you guys hope, just be careful about reading into them.

The only thing and I'll bold this to make it clear. Final Hours is a cool look at the dev process and documenting that journey but not the authority on the story/what is canon

@3K__ @vrumpt LOL! OK I'll ignore that. Yes, and one ending choice allows for that possibility :)

Yeah - because one ending choice allows for you to be alive to do so..."now fill in the blanks with your imagination" is basically what she is saying, she is screwing with you. <_<

I still don't know how is dying Shepard supposed to pick himself up from London's ruins, take ship in manual override (AI is dead universe-wide) and track down Tali, who is in some godforsaken planet in who knows which dark corner of the galaxy... while Mass Relays are all gone. >_<

I chose the Red ending, as even though my Shepard is paragon, and would not want to destroy the Geth, her goal was to destroy the Reapers, and the look on her face as she shoots the power conduit to blow it up, makes me think this is her taking control, doing what she set out to do.

So I am PRAYING I made the right choice, it is giving me some kind of hope.

This DOES sound like a confirmation of the indocrination theory, why would jessica even comment on the complaint with an answer like that if there wasnt something else going on...

Damage control. She would say the same things regardless of whether bioware has anything in the tubes or not.

@ReanKnopke @NicolaiAntonov uh they did not go through a Mass Relay - the one in the sol system is WAY too far away!

AHHHHH

Wa wa wa!! I don't even....

Wait.  What?  That's...  impossible.  The nearest star system from us is a hell of a lot further than Charon.  So that means it's in our own solar system.  Except Earth is the only planet in our system that can support plant life like that.  And Earth is a moon short to be that planet.

The nearest star to Earth, not counting Sol, is 4 light years away.

The codex says non-relay FTL travel can pull off ~12 light years a day.

Theres no way Joker ran from that explosion for 8 hours.

She is a Reaper, indoctrinating us via manipulation of information we know and want to be true.

So a few days ago a few member in the Kaidan thread were discussing what the Normandy crashing in a jungle, beachy, paradise looking planet could mean. They came to the conclusion that in Shepards mind as she/he is dying or being fully controlled, is that Shepard is putting the people she most cares about in a safe haven. The beach seems like a recurring theme in the game with characters mentioning it.

Mordin- saying he'll retire to the beach and study sea shells
Thane- prays to the Goddess of oceans and in his letter if romanced says...I will await you across the sea
Garrus- mentions a tropical place
James- mentions a bar in Rio or something like that
Jacob- talks about the Meditteranean
Kaidan- says something about owning or parents owning beachfront property
Tali- in Rannoch after joining Geth and Quarians, Shepard asks if she will shop for a new house and Tali says "Beach front property"

Don't know if other characters mention it that I have noticed.

So in Shepard's last moments she wishes and imagines all her friends safe in that beach, tropical place eveyone talked about.

*all these speculations came from the Kaidan thread especially from frylock23, so it didn't come from me*

But don't they make some sense to the Normandy crashing in this paradise planet with your LI and people you had fighting alongside you back on Earth?

You are soooo right!!

I thought at the time it was sort of ironic that the last thing I really remembered from Garrus was him talking about going someplace tropical and then he ends up on Gilligan's Planet.  I'd wondered if the other characters had too, and I find it interesting that they did.  I mean it seems a lot more likely that Shepard would cling to that as an image of a safe place, since so many squad members mention, then that the Normandy would just happen to crash on a jungle planet with an atmosphere and gravity similar to Earth.

The normandy has its own jumpdrive. Though I'm not sure how a blast wave travelling at the speed of light caught something with an FTL drive.

Of course they couldn't get to the Mass Relay. When you could actually access the Sol system in ME and ME2, it was right on the border of the system and too far away for the Normandy to get there THAT quick.

Still don't understand the idyllic/tropical world, though.

So...well... If they didnt go through mass relay than where is that planet? In solar system? Like Venus or something? O_o

I think what makes me the most angry about it all is that we want it to tell us a story that we can guide, not abruptly end with questions to which we have to imagine the entire thing in our heads. Whats the point of the game if we are just supposed to imagine whats going to happen anyway? That seems like what she is getting at from her statements.

Yes but for her to miss lead the fans would make the fallout over the endings worse. I don't think she is lying to us, just dropping hints.

Hold up hold up hold up.

Marzipan said that the Normandy didn't fly through the Charon Relay, as it is "too far away".. this says that they are still within our solar system... then what the f*ck planet are the on?? We already know based off of real life science that NONE of the other planets in our solar system are hospitable, or look even remotely tropical. It would HAVE to be a planet made up in Shep's head... +1 for Indoctrination Theory?

@JessicaMerizan I think red is my fave. Why oh why do we have to sacrifice the Geth & EDI though

@CmdrOwenShepard Well, depending on what you think of the Guardian, maybe it wasn't being truthful.

Food for thought.

she tweets something that gives me hope, then follows it with one that crushes it. The only hope I can hang onto is Mike Gambles tweet awhile ago about "if we knew what was coming" or whatever
