Honestly she sounds like she is talking in circles. It's almost as if she want's this awsome theory to be true. But like us are only speculation.
Believe me I want to believe

We aren't trying to prove anything here, we're speculating, praying, and justifying what happens. If we're wrong? Yeah, we'll be angry, but at least we've given ourselves closure.

On the other hand, you got to hand it to Bioware, something good did come out of that ending. The game has been out for nine days and already nearly 65000 people have contributed to our assets. It goes to show they have a strong core base that loved Mass Effect.

Emphasize "loved" as in past tense, like it will be if the endings aren't finished.

Jessica Merizan: @CmdrOwenShepard Well, depending on what you think of the Guardian, maybe it wasn't being truthful?

This is why I am now coming around to believing this is one of the best game endings I've ever seen. We come all the way to the end, thinking we're going to get closure. We find some kind of child figure that presents itself as all powerful and all knowing, a god-figure perhaps? And it lies to us. Most RPGers are used to the final showdown revealing the truth. ME3 instead conceals the truth with a figure that deceives us. In order to believe the Reaper child is truthful, we have to believe that Anderson is wrong, and TIM is right.

No.  It's a lie.  The child is a Reaper, and everything it says is a lie.  It is not the catalyst.

Shep: who are you?
Starchild: I am the catalyst.
Shep: go **** yourself, reaper.*blows up the reapers without killing geth or EDI*
That was what I wanted my shep to do after the ending.

<_< Really?

So she lacks perspective on the issue? I don't care if you dislike her or what she is trying to do but insulting her isn't the way to go.

As I said earlier, discussion about the Indoc. theory is the purpose of the thread. And I wouldn't do anything that could bring the ban hammer down....

From here: http://www.bioware.r..._truth_dlc.html

Translated:

Mass Effect 3 - HEARING: DLC «truth» and the new ending is true

Before reading further, please pay special attention to the news that DOES not officially confirmed, and may be untrue! Once again: this is unofficial information.

A few days ago an anonymous user, from which there is information about the first DLC for multiplayer , provided information about what "fiasco" with the final Mass Effect 3 developers pitch was intentional because of the early beta version of the game leaked online, revealing thus the plot. BioWare changed this same story in a way that they have time to prepare the true ending and releasing it through the DLC.

A possible addition is called " true "(" The Truth ") and, presumably, will be released in April or May. You will be able to continue the story, regardless of the choices made in the final, but your decision will have a strong influence on the ending of "Truth." On top of that in addition there will be two new enemies, new classes, new multiplayer maps (including a base, "Beehive" - a small card on the last remaining ship Collector).

The image in the news about the DLC for multiplayer shows some but not all, of future classes and races. It does not show proteanin adept and proteanin attack. This DLC will also add to the multiplayer proteanskuyu rifle for all owners add "From the ashes" .

News source claims that this supplement will be distributed free of charge.

Again, nothing has not yet been officially confirmed, and all may be nothing but a fake.

Has anyone paid any attention to where Casey (or whoever) said that they were planning to have you fall fully under Reaper control at the end, but it was to awkward gameplay-wise? So what would be the next step down from full control of the player?

Indoctrination.

Where is that from?

From the Final Hours thread OP:

On Deciding the End of the Game

...

And even in November the gameplay team was
still experimenting with an endgame sequence where players would
suddenly lose control of Shepard's movement and fall under full reaper
control. (This sequence was dropped because the gaemplay mechanic proved
too troublesome to implement alongside dialogue choices).

That's interesting to me. It lends some credence to the possibility that the devs at least thoght about something resembling what we have been discussing this whole time, pre "Final Hours" release.

Marzipan said that the Normandy didn't fly through the Charon Relay, as it is "too far away".. this says that they are still within our solar system... then what the f*ck planet are the on?? We already know based off of real life science that NONE of the other planets in our solar system are hospitable, or look even remotely tropical. It would HAVE to be a planet made up in Shep's head... +1 for Indoctrination Theory?
