Neon, not Neo. But how so? I've seen all of Eva, and I'm not quite sure what you mean.
Sorry. Missed the N out.
In the original series, the final episode was all in Shinji's mind, fighting the decision of whether he followed his urge to run away, or stay and fight. Some people back in the 90's claimed that he was influenced by the Angels. Not everything was fully explained (there was no final battle).
In the RW, after the out cry for a new ending, the director made Death and Rebirth, which was THE final battle. Not exactly what everyone wanted (it was a huge head fudge, and he killed off pretty much the entire cast, though it was spectacular!)
Never has this vid made more sense.
Ah, I see what you mean! I didn't see the series near when it actually aired, so I wasn't aware that some thought he was being influcenced by the Angels.
But like I said to someone else, I sure hope any additions to ME3 does not take the End of Eva approach of being even more trippy and also killing absolutely everyone (besides one person, and then bringing one of the killed back). That would be more depressing than the current endings... As much as I hate them, I really don't wanna watch Liara and Garrus turn into orange goo, either. XP

Haha thanks for the video, that is seriously the best ending I've seen to date
Evangelion FTW!
That vid was made SIX MONTHS before release. I find it incredibly ironic. And if 'The Truth' is...erm ... true... I believe Bioware has stuck gold!

So Japan just go it today...give them time to complete it, say two weeks. Shepard's birthday is April 11. JUST SAYIN.
Also EDI's eye-thing changing color makes me think - I mean, we only see it in the green ending, but her glasses turn green...and they're red during the entire game...OBVIOUSLY SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES:P
Noticed when I restarted my game yesterday that the visor is blue when it's EVA, red when it's EDI and green when still EDI but you pick the synergy ending.
Tis interesting...

I agree with you wholeheartedily. I keep thinking ME4. They did say Shep's story was going to be a trilogy... But they could have lied...

The endings are okay... but damn, all the evidence points to indoctrination and now I kinda want it more than simple epilogue DLC

I thought about this too but I might be reading too much into it. And I completely agree with the last part!

Has anyone explored the reason why, during the cutscene, the relay to relay chain reaction doesn't start from the Local Cluster as it should? It starts from the Viper Nebula. The nebula where, I might add, the destroyed Alpha Relay was located.
I noticed this immediately and thought "WTH? That isn't were Earth is!" I mentioned this in another thread.

Hmmm. Doing the mission at that fuel station. Vega says early on, "I feel like we're being watched."
There are Reaperized organics in the place, but that's awful convenient wording. AFAIK we didn't even have "feels like they're being watched" as a known symptom of indoctrination before they gave us this oddly detailed codex, did we?
I think James is one of the biggest clues about indoctrination. He makes comments several times about a strange 'hum'. The indoctrination codex clearly states:
Organics undergoing indoctrination may complain of headaches and buzzing
or ringing in their ears. As time passes, they have feelings of "being
watched" and hallucinations of "ghostly" presences. Ultimately, the
Reaper gains the ability to use the victim's body to amplify its
signals, manifesting as "alien" voices in the mind.
In ME1, Kaidain makes a comment about a 'hum' that makes his teeth tingle if you look at the mass effect relay on the Citadel. This is very early in the game, before the Citadel's origin is revealed.

I dunno, though. I mean, what would ME4 even be about? Just killing the Reapers? 'Cause we already resolved the Genophage, the Quarian/Geth war, pretty much all the character's personal issues... We even destoyed Cerberus. So besides offing the Reapers, what is there? And considering how close we get, with the Crucible and a big battle on Earth and the Citadel being captured... it seems like we're pretty close to either beating them or losing to them. Enough story left for DLC? Sure. But for a whole game? Seems like a stretch.

Someone should ask her how dead crewmates get onto the ship then. IF EMS is low then your crewmates die in that run, but we've seen them show up on the normandy afterwards, if I recall correctly.
The part where a
squadmate that I chose to accompany on the run to the beam to the
Citadel magically appeared on the Normandy running away (as evidenced by
him stepping out of the Normandy after it crashed).
How did Joker get in, pick up my squad-mate (after I was knocked out by Harbinger), and get out of there all before they called for everyone to pull back AND somehow
manage to not be blown out of the sky by Harbinger (who was still on
the ground behind the beam up until the point where Shepard starts getting back up)?
Furthermore,
no one said anything about abandoning the mission if I recall correctly
(although correct me if I'm wrong), just to pull back and regroup,
because later, Hackett tells everyone "this is it" (implying that everyone is still on or around Earth) when Shepard opens up
the Citadel arms.
Said it like time but it'd important that people understand. She's under an NDA. She can't give out that much information. If she was giving information it would be a direct statement.
As such the one statement that SHOULD give everyone hope, and ironically the one that everyone's ignoring, is Final Hours is a cool look at the dev process and documenting that journey but not the authority on the story/what is canon

As for James, I thought about Reaper tech/indoctrination when he first made that comment and there is definitely a humming sound but I wasn't sure if he was talking something else. Either way, I always thought that was interesting.

Wait. That doesn't make any sense though. The mass relay in the Citadel is the Conduit. It's Prothean. A prototype of an attempt to recreate a mass relay actually made by the Reapers. It shouldn't have any indoctrination.

The Citadel is Reaper. Also, a lot of Prothean tech was built on Reaper tech.
