I did the exact same thing. I came to find out what other ponies were thinking about the ending, read the Indoctrination theory, was converted.

And, on the plus side, saved Shepard in the process (maybe)! Yay!

I'm happy I picked Destroy cause I went with my gut. I thought to myself "who am I to create life? Unless I'm a god or Dr. Manhattan, Life should take its natural course." SO I crossed out Synthesis. I didn't want to do Control cause I didn't want to become the thing I've grown to hate with the passion of a thousand suns (other than Javik of course), so I chose Destroy because I felt the galaxy deserved a chance to take its our course.

When I was playing the last 10-15 minutes of the game, my boyfriend had guests over so I had to mute the TV. Much of the "atmosphere" was lost without the sound, so I had to take all of the subtitles for what they were. (I unfortunately took the ending for face value). I seriously sat there for 15 minutes contimplating which would be the best of the 3. I chose control because, while it got rid of the mass relays and the Geth I worked so hard to save, it would allow the Quarians to adapt to their planet in peace. It would allow the krogan to reach their culture's "peak" in peace. And blahblahblah.

TL;DR: I got indoctrinated foo'.

Haha, ditto! I planned on replaying the whole ending bit again just so I can choose Destory... I feel like such an idiot for choosing Synthesis the firs time around. I guess I'll blame it on post-traumatic stress of that last battle. =P

has anyone been able to toggle the flycam on PC for the ending? I wan to look around and see if there are any bits that I can pick up. I have it bound to F12 and it works everywhere but the endgame and dream sequences. D:

Watched the Shep alive video again and its definitely a metal rebar going through the left leg. I doubt the Reapers used rebars when they built the Citadel.

Why would the previous cycles even design a pair of handles you can grab to take control of the reapers if they intend to destroy it?

It all seems very bizarre when you sit back and think about it!!

It is bizarre that the Crucible that engineers built to do one thing has three different parts that allow you to do two things besides its intended purpose, and that Shepard has to shoot the device in order to get it started.

Those handles and the tubes you blow up are part of the Citadel, not the Crucible, so it makes even less sense. Also, Shepard was breathing while being outside in space.

So the Crucible doesn't have the on button connected to itself but is based off of a NEVER BEFORE SEEN BY ORGANIC room which the designers don't know exist? That is suspicious.
