Its not as subtle as that. It has a slight similarity to the sound Reapers make when they fire, and is more akin to synthetic growling than humming imo. I'm searching a video right now for the sound on Thessia.

Hm.. Maybe I WAS just having audio weirdness then. I haven't noticed it yet on my second playthrough, but I'm not too far in. Paying a lot more attention to the audio starting now, in any event.

Here's Thessia, not sure at what point the sound is at:

Yes. Right before you run to the conduit you start at the top of the hill with anderson and crew.

you know just to add critisism if the building just exploded what are the chances of that vent being electrified still?

but yeah the "warning, caution, danger" stuff is a bit weird as well as that kid in general

I don't know but there are wispers in the background. They almost sound like higher pitched reaper voices.

This ending was a marvelous display of brilliance. These writers are sticking to their guns in the face of adversity, the way shepard sticks to his guns in the face of the Reapers. This type of writing harkens back to the day of Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, and H.G. Wells. The amount of talent on this writing staff is unbelievably thought out. I will buy a prequel the moment they release one and will gladly pay 40 dollars for any DLC these demi-gods decide to release.

Unfortunately the video doesn't contain the part where I thought I heard the growling. I'm looking over a longer video right now but all the ones that I've found have Javik in them, which may or may not change this.

Take a look at the right side of the picture. Couldn't that be the place where shep lies when taking the breath in the good red ending?

Everytime you see the kid he's next to a danger/caution/warning sign.

I actually love the last 10 minutes of this game. Just because it wasnt what you wanted doesnt mean its not the greatest ending since the Matrix Trilogy. Singularity's are not real.
Actually they are real, you just wouldnt be able to see it, none the less eat it.

Agreed. All the opponents of this theory are so hostile towards it. I don't really get why it's so hard for them to discuss it logically instead.

Process of elimination.  The logical opponents of the theory read the reasoning and are no longer opponents.  :)

Okay people. Moment of truth. I'm about to sit down for a few hours and look through the textures / shadows / obscure objects in the game and see what's up.

Apparently the UE viewer that I found cannot "interpret" some of the folders. I'll make a folder and print screen the crap out of the things I find (if I find anything). Goodbye. And goodluck.

After finishing Mass effect 3 i felt empty... I felt as if a void of nothingness had consumed me. "What kind of ending is this?!" Right up until the end I viewed it as one oft the three greatest games of all time. However, my opinion was then corrupted by wahat I thought were poor writing...
It has taken a few days of contemplation and the aid of a certain video to turn that opinion around. It is not untill you realize what might realy be going on that you appreciate the current ending. I'm certain you can find this somewhere else on this website, but i belive that everyone who is the least intrested in the ending to Mass effect 3 should watch this exceptionally well made video.

Instead of just saying you loved it and comparing them to Shakespeare, explain exactly why you loved it. Please, I like to see the other side of the picture, but so far most people on your side aren't going into much detail, or just go on a tangent about the first 97% of the game, which most people don't seem to have trouble with.

This has been brought up before, but the CE Mass Effect 3 for PC says the installation size is "at least 15GB". The actual install size is about 10-11GB.

Is it normal for a game to state that the installation size is a whole 4GB more than what it actually is on the PC?

Also the writers aren't sticking to their guns. There are plenty of tweets / interviews etc. that hint at the ending not being complete. Especially Jess M. and Gamble's twitters. :U And the confirmation of single player DLC (which just so happened to be in an article about the ending.)

Opinion respected. May I ask why you enjoyed the endings, though? i've had to answer repeatedly why I don't enjoy them, so I'm curious as to what you liked? :)

If that's just the minimum space requirement then yes. Games are usually stored in compressed files and they need extra space on the drive to move things around and unpack files during installation.

Edit: Although what I said is true 4GB does seem a bit much.
