Okay people. Moment of truth. I'm about to sit down for a few hours and look through the textures / shadows / obscure objects in the game and see what's up.
Apparently the UE viewer that I found cannot "interpret" some of the folders. I'll make a folder and print screen the crap out of the things I find (if I find anything). Goodbye. And goodluck.

It depends, actually. It is either powered by a reaper heart or a reaper brain - depending on if you destroyed the Collector base or not. Afaik, they are sort of place markers for EMS requirement adjustments based upon the final choice in ME2.

The growling noise is at 13:27 here.
I can't find a Thessia video where the person has chosen to do paragon/renegade reasoning with TIM from Mars and doesn't bring Javik, but those are the conditions under which I believe I heard the noise.
*EDIT
Also around 1:00 here
It happens a few times in that conversation actually. Then comes my favorite line where Anderson looks directly at the player and says "They're controlling you!"
That it happens multiple times, I think it happens in the dreams too, lends quite alot of credence to this. I remember growling being mentioned in one of the novels too. Can't remember if it was Leng or Grayson's character.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. I just want to delve into it and prod around.
A couple days after the game was released and people started freaking out Casey Hudson did a butt ton of interviews. It was one of those, though I don't remember which one asked him the DLC questi-- OH!
Duh.
Just google "Casey Hudson Mass Effect 3 single player DLC" or "Casey hudson interview ME3" etc etc.
Or just Mass Effect 3 Single Player DLC.
"I didn’t want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people–debating what the endings mean and what’s going to happen next, and what situation are the characters left in.[/i]
Hudson did go on to assure gamers that the team will be taking their feedback into account as they move forward with downloadable content, confirming that more single-player goodness is on the way. That to me is part of what’s exciting about this story. There has always been a little bit of mystery there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people can talk about after the fact.
It’s very important to us and we will always listen to feedback, interpret it and try and do the right thing by our fans. That’s why if you look at Mass Effect 2 we knew that people wanted to spend more time with a character like Liara, and so we created an ongoing storyline with her as part of the comics and then built it into the DLC stuff, and we’re always listening to fans.We have some really great multiplayer content and some really great single-player content coming over the air, and their feedback will become part of how we design that."

Does anyone have the art book on them?? I have the big Mass Effect Universe art book on my lap, this is probably in the ME3 art book in the CE as well. The Cerberus Headquarters page has one page of TIM's "room" (where the Kai Leng encounter is) and the other page is everything that happens after Harbinger's beam. Literally. Has anyone else pointed this out yet? Is it confirmed to be recycled art or something? (page 173 in The Art of the Mass Effect Universe, pages 62-63 in the ME3 CE art book but there's an illustration missing)
The top image is not in the artbook for the CE. The bottom one is though.

Careful confirmation bias is beginnign to creep into that train of thought.
It uses the human reaper heart if you destroyed the Collector Base, and the human reaper brain if you saved it.
Come to think of it, why would a reaper have a heart and a brain like an organic? They use organic DNA in it somehow but we've had no indication that they operate like an organic being inside.

No but because you said that it is genuis, that whatever we did was pointless so why play at all, why unite the galaxy, why not just lay down and die? Why fight because a beacon told you? C'mon? What sense does that make? Life does not life to die you know cause than there would be no point in it.

I think "brain" and "heart" are largely metophorical - if you read the asset description, the heart is described as an "advanced and incredible power source". I don't know about the brain bit. It would seem to lend credence to the Crucible/Catalyst being influenced by reapers...

I don't hear what you hear and please people don't try to overinterprate the hole thing. Not every singel piece in this game would be evidence. There are fakts but there are also just design things just to build up tension.

I didn't choose destroy on my first go through. That Normandy sequence makes even less sense here, it's somehow even more out of place here than it was in synthesis.
As to the breathing, I don't quite know where you mean. After Shep has just finished shooting the tubes?
